Here is a 72 early Yamaha X2 (XS) 650, this bike has faded paint and shows great patina, perfect for complete restore or ride as is! Has new Mikuni VM carbs, petcocks, gas cap, tank badges, clip-on bars, 2into1 exhaust, mileage is unknown but runs and rides well frame is strait with no cracks or welds! Pick up Only will not ship! This is a numbers matching 1979 Yamaha XS650 Standard in it`s original condition except for Tires and Battery replacements over the years. This was a daily rider and always well maintained. Has newer Pirelli tires. Starts on the button with no starter kick back. All electrical works. Needs fork boots that will be supplied with the bike. Also comes with factory luggage rack (not Pictured). Very nice Survivor. A clear KS title in my name. $4000 OBO. This is a 1981 XS650 Special that we chopped down and hardtailed. The motor and wheels are stock, just about everything else is replaced. The hardtail is from TC Bros, as are the bars. The electrical system is completely redone, using the TC Bros. wiring harness in back and our wiring up front. All the electrical components are stored in the fake oil tank. We threw on turn signals (front and back) and an electric start so she could be used as an everyday rider. The original speedometer reads 19,336, and the new one reads 31. The brand new carbs were jetted to work with our short pipes made in house. New gas tank, coil, plugs and wires. New Dunlop 404 tires front and back. New inspection. Title is clear, she's just looking for a new home. If you don't want to lose your bike in a parking lot because it looks the same as everyone else's, this one's for you.

This bike has been completely "gone over". It starts up right away and runs great. I am the second owner of this. The original owner put it storage without prepping it, hence, the tank and fuel lines needed to be replaced. Don't let the fact that it has 27k on it. It runs great and will for years to come. One of the downsides is that with the non vacuum petcocks, they must be turned to off each time it's shut down. Neutral can be a little hard to find sometimes but the gearbox works well. I am selling it locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. I have had some interest in it already. I have the title and documentation. Good luck!

I am selling this 1981 Yamaha XS650 custom bobber. It starts easy with either the turn key ignition or by kick. The "ground pounder" exhaust has 4" baffles in each pipe which gives it a nice, loud rumble. The engine has a little over 18000 original miles and runs strong. I replaced the timing guide that is always worn out on these old bikes and all of the necessary gaskets/seals.It's a fun, reliable bike that gets lots of attention and compliments.
