Dormant since about 1992, languishing neglected in a storage unit all that time, a relatively pristine XS11 Midnight Special has been brought back to life. Brutal horsepower with a docile purr, it lives again.Carburetors have been cleaned and new CV diaphragms have been installed. A brand new absorbed gl*** mat maintenance free battery has been bought and installed and the brakes have been gone through and a quarter century of brake fluid gunk has been dispatched so that they are properly operating again. The pads appear to be new EBC replacement pads - not much wear at all. This is one heck of a wayback machine, all original and all there. This XS Eleven Midnight Special is the FIRST year of production for the XS11 Midnight Special and it's in incredibly great shape considering December 2016 marks it's 36th birthday. The black chrome stock 'Special' exhaust is breathtakingly beautiful, just gorgeous and unique to the MNS line. You'll not find another, with this low mileage, "unmolested" and original. You won't believe your eyes. The only mechanical flaw we found that has not been addressed is the low fuel sensor. There is a device known as a "thermistor" that basically indicates temprature. If the thermistor is sitting in fuel, it's temprature is cooler than when it sits in air. While there is a relatively easy 'fix' to replace it, with a themistor from another used bike, we chose NOT to make any modifications but repair what is there if necessary. Our choice here was to NOT do a restoration but leave things as original as we found 'em, clean it up and perform neglected maintenance. This baby is ready for the purist collector to work with. It's ready to ride anywhere.Since this bike was stored inside, there is virtually no UV damage to any of the surfaces. The photos will tell you a lot. If there is any 'downside', it's the moisture in the ambient air that has attacked some of the surfaces. For the most part, it cleaned up really well once the 'barn find' dust was removed. This is one outstanding 'barn find', to be sure. A 'Storage Wars' gem, as close to perfect as we've ever seen, and we've seen a bit.The XS11 was and remains "brutal" in the horsepower department and the Midnight Special was a styling masterpiece. Number 1604 is still an absolute monster, truly a beast among beasts and she purrs like a kitten, a brand new Antique bad *** among bad ***es. Park this one at your local watering hole and you'll have to part the crowd to get to your ride and go home!Side covers are there, just not in the main picture. Will add photo later. Extreme close up photos available will show the gold headlight beauty ring has some scratches on the RH side and the black chrome tachometer cover has a ding w/ scratches to match and the front edge of the master cylinder cap and cup show that someone did lay it over at one time. The engine guards did their job well.Tires look good but are 25 y oldBonded title - buyer pays t/t/l

1981 Yamaha Bobber XS650 I absolutely adore this bike it is a blast around town and makes a great sound. To be honest this is not a good highway bike anything above 100kph has a lot of vibration. The only reason I am selling it is because i want to put the money towards a new cafe racer project. This XS650 was built entirely by Lucid Kustoms here in Calgary I have owned it since last summer and has been a daily driver. The only thing that I have had done to it are an oil change and had baffles inserted into the exhaust becuase it was a bit too loud (and apparently increases the performance). It has a custom subtle paint job crinkle painted engine and a hand tooled leather solo seat. The signal buttons are subtly hidden under the frame below the seat.

This bike was taken on as a project, but I am starting school again and have run out of time to finish it up. The guys at Southwest Super Bikes in Dallas got it running but said it needs new carbs. It also needs a little electrical work as I can't get the new battery to hold a charge. The Renthal handlebars and Dime City seat are both new. The gas tank has recently been cleaned, etched, and lined as well.

Engine 650cc bored to 750

This is a completely rebuilt 1977 Yamaha XS 650 twin, which has been bored to 750cc. It was built by Greg Hageman, formerly of Doc's Chops and was featured in the March 2012 issue of Café Racer Magazine. I recently bought the Bike and I love it but I have hurt my Knee and have surgery scheduled for Nov. 9th so I'm letting it go and ill buy something else in a year or so when I can ride. This bike has been inside of a climate controlled garage and is as good or better than new condition with little to no signs of wear. Bike has electric and kick start and fires instantly. Has the best of everything and is built to ride. Completely rebuilt motor. No leaks. Carbs and starter are new and work great, fires fast and idles and rides perfectly. Black paint on tank is flawless. Frame and other parts have been black powder coated.Acewell electronic speedometer with 1,360 miles Since I just purchased it I had all the oil and fluids changed, carb tuned, and a brand new battery installed so to say it runs and rides flawless is an understatement.

If you've ever looked on Google for Yamaha XS1100 Venturer or 1980 Yamaha XS1100 or G under images you would have seen this bike, it was the only maroon XS1100 with fairing, saddlebags and luggage trunk / tour pack pictured. And on my add you see that exact photo (from Google), a closer up photo I took when I received it (the BEFORE pictures) and the Picture of what it looks like now (the AFTER pictures) I believe I might be the 3rd owner of this bike, not exactly sure It is obvious that I have had the bike custom painted (couldn't stand that old maroon, faded anyway) and actually worked toward making it a Venturer wanna be (I have all the parts and they will go with the bike). When I got this bike, here is the list of the other items I had done to it below: Had the gear, transmission and motor oil changed Had the Speedo changed from the original 80-85 MPH speedo to a 160 MPH speedo (speedo you see mounted on the bike is not actual mileage) I have the original speedo also pictured (but blurry and that was the actual mileage when I got it) and I have put about 1000 miles on it Had carbs have been vatted and rebuilt Had a total tune up performed on the bike (engine runs excellent) Had second gear replaced (shifts excellent, all gears are now in proper working order) I lowered the bike for shorter rider (originals will still go with the bike along with brand new, still the box air shocks I bought for this bike, I had them on but they were too tall for the rider I had the seat recover with the Venturer seat cover Had the handlebars and handlebar grips changed, I you look close in the pictures this bike a vary nice metal mechanical chrome throttle lock for cruise control I had the fuel tank vatted, petcock kits with new petcock filter nets put along with a new fuel level sensor sending unit. I had the Venturer oil cooler & cover with adaptor plate put on this bike (see it in the pics) I even have the security chain (with key but different from bike), security chain storage box from a Venturer to be mounted on the bike but will require just a little welding mods to the frame to mount it, these will go with the bike These bikes did not have running lights in the rear when they came out stock so I had dual circuit running / blinker lights installed on the rear (see pics) Had new blinker module installed and changed the lights from the old 1156s &7s to LEDs and they work excellent (way brighter) with less loading on the fuses and fuse box Had planned on putting an LED Headlight conversion in to reduce loading on the fuses and fuse box (about $120.00) but probably won't get to that. Actually installed brand new fuse box as well and man I will tell you it made world of difference in how this bike ran mechanically as well as electrically. I did not do this but this bike has adjustable rear peg swing arms with extra holes in them so you can move the pegs or take them off and put them back stock but I've found that it gives me more room for my feet on the front pegs when the rear pegs are higher. The luggage trunk will come with the bike and it has been painted just as the bike but I am not going to mount it (I can't even tell you if the lights work on it) But it does look good I had a cycle sound stereo enclosure with Sony stereo installed (modified for modern stereo so you won't have to do any cuttin and it fits snug too) but the Stereo shorted out and I disconnected it, you can still get a good JVC for about $100.00 at Walmart (that's what I did on my other bike), It also has brand new Kicker Speakers in the enclosure so you won't have to replace those. Please after looking at the pictures, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!!!

Problems typical with any old XS, i.e. petcocks leak, etc. The bike has not run in about 10 years. This is a part bike or restoration, but a complete bike. Side covers missing or damaged. The exhaust is in good shape. Single owner. This bike has a lot of sentimental value but it is time to let it go before the condition gets any worse. Will consider delivery depending upon distance.
