1974 Yamaha XS500. Matching numbers bike! This bike was bought new in 1975 by the original owner, whos family i purchased it from. It was ridden regularly until 1983. It was parked a pack house and left there until last week! The bike overall looks great for a original untouched bike of its age. It is the cool purple color they had. The headlight bucket is slightly bent see pics The engine turns over with compression. It is not running. Bike still has the original license plate on it!!!!I DO NOT HAVE A KEY OR TITLE FOR THIS BIKE!! THE FAMILY WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND EITHER! EBAY DOES NOT HAVE A "NO TITLE" OPTION SO I HAD TO CHOOSE CLEAR TITLE. BUT AGAIN THERE IS NO TITLE. I WILL WRITE NEW OWNER A BILL OF SALE. The chrome on the bike does have some rust. The tank has a few dings and a dent in the top see pics. Overall the bike is a nice original bike. The seat looks good too. Please see pics. 1976 Yamaha XS500 in excellent condition. Bike is a low use survivor that looks & runs better than new. I've made a few modifications and it starts, runs, shifts, and handles better than when it was new, through all the gears.
