I can't believe I'm selling this bike. I spent 2 years and countless hours rebuilding this bike. You can check out my build threads on DTT here: (XS750D to XS885 build - DTT). We're buying a new house and have too many toys, so regrettably, after 5 years of ownership, this one has to go. The wife says that 2 motorcycles and 3 mountain bikes is too many. There is far too much done to this bike to list, so I recommend reading through both build threads, but this was a combination of many hours of work on my part, plus the work of many of the best motorcycle specialists in the business the forks were rebuilt by Racetech. The wiring was done by Matt at howtomotorcyclerepair.com, The carbs were rebuilt by Spyder Cycleworks, etc. You will not find a nicer XS triple anywhere. The bike is currently kickstart only, but I have a fully rebuilt starter motor ready if you would prefer to convert to an electric start. It starts easily with a few kicks. Here is a quick list of what was done: Detabbed and looped the frame Powdercoated the frame and calipers gunmetal gray Powdercoated everything else black (wheels gloss, everything else semi-gloss). Including fork lowers, and chopped front fender.Every bearing has been replaced Anything rebuildable has been rebuilt Every wear item has been replaced (EBC pads, clutch, etc) Black SS lines Drag barsAntigravity batteryLED brake lightsNew Nissin Radial 19mm front master cylinder with ASV LeverASV Clutch LeverNew 5.5 inch headlight Tomaselli throttle and grips New Forks by Frank tubes Racetech modified and lowered forksNew NOS Left fork lowerCustom fabbed a seat pan from 16 gauge steel Got the seat custom upholstered The tank is fully restored, sealed, and custom painted in original colors (except the dark blue is now black), no vinyl. Custom fabbed a battery box to fit a small Antigravity battery and all core wiring components. Almost every nut and bolt is new. Carbs rebuilt by Syder CycleworksEngine work (XS850 SG engine): Bored out 885 to accept wiseco over bored pistons Copper gasket Transmission undercut by Fast by Gast Repainted with VHT Case/Barrell paint All new seals/hoses/bearings Complete overhaul of the head New OEM Gas Cap disassembled and powder coated black Starter removed and pluggedWiring completely redone by Matt at Raask rearsets MAC 3 into 1 ExhastLockhart Oil Cooler Plate mated to Pro One Oil CoolerJoker Machine mirrors The title is free and clear. I also have a full set of service manuals, as well as some misc spare parts. $500 deposit required within 3 days of purchase. The bike has 321 miles on it since the full rebuild. The original motor had ~14k miles on it.

Try this again do to nonpaying bidder. This bike is complete, minus battery, with a key and a clear title in my name. I have never seen or heard it run and I'm unsure of mechanical condition. The engine is stuck and will not turn over, throttle has limited movement as well. Transmission shifts through all gears and clutch moves freely. Gas tank has rust inside and was poorly repainted. Seat is torn on both sides at bottom edges with tiny spots of what is believed to be latex paint. It has scrapes, and scratches all over as seen in pics but presentable for its age. Tires appear to be very good with no cracks visible. Again this bike does need work and will be sold as is. Any questions? Email, Text or call 304-579-5948. Thanks for looking

I'm selling my 1980 Yamaha XS850 Triple. A very rare bike. It runs good and has normal wear for a bike of its age, but it does have a dent on the top of the tank and I posted a pic of it. I was going to get it repaired and painted, but thought the new owner might not want to go back to the original color. I had a brand new seat cover installed by a professional. If you have any question feel free to ask. Thanks
