Runs and rides awesome. Very fast, loud and fun. Lots of time and heart invested. One of a kind. Turn key ready to ride, tuned to run perfect. Will not disappoint. This is my own personal bike and my own personal build. Two videos from today. I don't know how to embed the videos, so please copy and paste the addresses in your browser. The first is a short walk around and cold start in 38f weather. The second is all warmed up and revving. https://youtu.be/csxERWMZT5Ehttps://youtu.be/Zsf8a9VeTfc 1179cc Wiseco big bore forged pistons Ported 1980 big valve cylinder head 1978 2H7 camshafts New Mikuni RS36 Flat slide carbs Vmax auto timing tensioner GSXR1000 Push pull throttle New Mikuni 70mm velocity stacks with Empi boots & Speedmaster screens VN750 coils with Taylor wires & NGK ends NGK Iridium plugs Z1000 front master cylinder ZX9R Clutch perch and lever Galfer stainless front hoses Rebuilt front and rear calipers Rebuilt rear master cylinder New clutch cable Custom Texavina cafe seat Barnett clutch with HD Vesrah springs New clutch cable Frame loop GS500E Front fender GS1100G headlight & bucket Kiwav headlight mounts Yamaha visor Custom upper clamp Neverland Clip ons MAC modified 4 into 1 New front tire Bar end mirrors LED taillight New battery Marzocchi vintage shocks Progressive springs Frame detabbed Fork braceMileage reads 47k. The previous owner spoke of a speedometer change years back with a higher mileage gauge so the actual mileage is unknown, sorry. According to him it had about 25000 less than what shows.Clean clear title in hand. I won't ship myself, but will cooperate the best I can with a shipper of your choice. Uship's auction service seems to work very well for an item like this. The bike is kept in Mahwah NJ in climate controlled indoor storage. I can hold the bike for weeks if full payment is made. A $500 non refundable deposit is due at the time of auction close. The remainder is preferred in cash, but electronic means can be used if you want to pay the 3% surcharge on the money. Every time I sell a bike I end up running the listing 2-3 times due to d3ad b3at bidders. Please don't bid if you don't plan on buying. It costs time and money. If I can't get a response from a bidder or buyer I won't wait and will instantly relist. Ridiculous offers will not be entertained. I am selling this as part of my late brothers estate, my brother LOVED this XS11. He was a master auto mechanic and tooling machine repair man. The condition above is accurate and as much as I hate to sell this, my sister-in-law could use the funds and that trumps anything. My 67yo brother had this bike forever so I am not totally sure of its history. I think that he bought it from his friend who bought it new. The numbers match. Basically the bike was ridden regularly until he became ill and then sat for 3 years on a lift in his garage. I simply rolled it off the lift, washed off the dust and took the pictures to post. On a whim I quick charged the battery, tried to start it and like a good XS11, it started within 10 seconds with 3 year old gas in it !! The engine sounded great and no smoke. I think my brother did put gas stabilizer in it for winter storage which may have helped. Like I said, the carbs were leaking some but I am familiar enough with XS carbs to not freak out at that, those vacuum feed carbs are sensitive to sitting around. I took a video of it running but not sure if ebay will let me post a video. Overall the bike needs a couple weeks on a lift and some good elbow grease to be returned to a great 1st year specimen. The carbs might just "self correct" if some good gas and solvent are ran through. I simply have too many bike projects to do it myself and like I said, the Sis can use the $$. Shipping is on buyers dime and we can help get it loaded of course. We will answer any questions you may have. The BIN price is good deal for someone. I will answer questions as best I can if you have any. FYI , I will be listing a 1975 Suzuki RE5 and 1970 Triumph Trophy soon as well (complete "barn finds").......if you are interested just keep an eye out.

1979 YAMAHA SX1100 Frame Up Project COMPLETE Motorcycle NEW Tires Disc & Parts This was a frame up restoration project. Sadly the person doing it got sick and had to get rid of it. All the parts are here. Some are new and some are original. This can be re assembled or parted out. Since all the parts are off and in bins this would be an easy task. The seat is in good condition. The tank was dust and would benefit from polishing. The frame is nice. The tires are new as are the discs. There are receipts and a list of new parts purchased, $220.46 not counting the discs, tires or frame coating. There is rust on some parts. The pipes need repair/cleaning. There is a manual included. Due to size this is a pick up only, I am happy to meet a trucker here for pick up. The back fender is very rusty, see pictures for details. I am not sure of the actual milage. I do have the pink-slip. goodstogold Store

If you've ever looked on Google for Yamaha XS1100 Venturer or 1980 Yamaha XS1100 or G under images you would have seen this bike, it was the only maroon XS1100 with fairing, saddlebags and luggage trunk / tour pack pictured. And on my add you see that exact photo (from Google), a closer up photo I took when I received it (the BEFORE pictures) and the Picture of what it looks like now (the AFTER pictures) I believe I might be the 3rd owner of this bike, not exactly sure It is obvious that I have had the bike custom painted (couldn't stand that old maroon, faded anyway) and actually worked toward making it a Venturer wanna be (I have all the parts and they will go with the bike). When I got this bike, here is the list of the other items I had done to it below: Had the gear, transmission and motor oil changed Had the Speedo changed from the original 80-85 MPH speedo to a 160 MPH speedo (speedo you see mounted on the bike is not actual mileage) I have the original speedo also pictured (but blurry and that was the actual mileage when I got it) and I have put about 1000 miles on it Had carbs have been vatted and rebuilt Had a total tune up performed on the bike (engine runs excellent) Had second gear replaced (shifts excellent, all gears are now in proper working order) I lowered the bike for shorter rider (originals will still go with the bike along with brand new, still the box air shocks I bought for this bike, I had them on but they were too tall for the rider I had the seat recover with the Venturer seat cover Had the handlebars and handlebar grips changed, I you look close in the pictures this bike a vary nice metal mechanical chrome throttle lock for cruise control I had the fuel tank vatted, petcock kits with new petcock filter nets put along with a new fuel level sensor sending unit. I had the Venturer oil cooler & cover with adaptor plate put on this bike (see it in the pics) I even have the security chain (with key but different from bike), security chain storage box from a Venturer to be mounted on the bike but will require just a little welding mods to the frame to mount it, these will go with the bike These bikes did not have running lights in the rear when they came out stock so I had dual circuit running / blinker lights installed on the rear (see pics) Had new blinker module installed and changed the lights from the old 1156s &7s to LEDs and they work excellent (way brighter) with less loading on the fuses and fuse box Had planned on putting an LED Headlight conversion in to reduce loading on the fuses and fuse box (about $120.00) but probably won't get to that. Actually installed brand new fuse box as well and man I will tell you it made world of difference in how this bike ran mechanically as well as electrically. I did not do this but this bike has adjustable rear peg swing arms with extra holes in them so you can move the pegs or take them off and put them back stock but I've found that it gives me more room for my feet on the front pegs when the rear pegs are higher. The luggage trunk will come with the bike and it has been painted just as the bike but I am not going to mount it (I can't even tell you if the lights work on it) But it does look good I had a cycle sound stereo enclosure with Sony stereo installed (modified for modern stereo so you won't have to do any cuttin and it fits snug too) but the Stereo shorted out and I disconnected it, you can still get a good JVC for about $100.00 at Walmart (that's what I did on my other bike), It also has brand new Kicker Speakers in the enclosure so you won't have to replace those. Please after looking at the pictures, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me!!!

Here's an opportunity to own a rare classic, in excellent, unmolested condition. The XS11 was the first four-cylinder four-stroke motorcycle from Yamaha. It exploited well-proven technology, first used by Yamaha in their previously released XS 750 four-stroke triple. When the XS11 was introduced, it earned a reputation as a heavy, powerful bike. At the time of its release it was the most powerful production motorcycle money could buy. This was the start of the superbikes craze. This bike has 37000 original miles. The only modifications are a 4 into 1 header exhaust and the air box has been replaced with K&N filter pods. It runs very well and is a very quick machine. It's best attribute is the riding position and weight of the bike makes for a very comfortable cruising position. It is very powerful and sounds great. A classic collectible bike
