MAKE US AN OFFER!! YOU NEVER KNOW!! This listing is for a really nice clean & mostly original low mileage 1976 Honda CB550F Super Sport . Numbers matching early production bike as this was the 793rd CB550F produced in 1976. Serial # CB550F - 2000796. Engine # CB550E - 1110872. Rare Shiny Orange in color. Original paint. Original seat cover. Original exhaust. The Clubman handle bars and the Fox rear shocks are the only things we can find that are not original to the bike. They are period correct. New battery, new NGK plugs, new air filter, new oil filter and fresh Honda GN4 oil. Carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned, rebuilt with new kits and synchronized. She really runs smooth and great!! Shifts smoothly through all gears. Front brake system has been evacuated and clean fluid installed. Everything electric works as if it were new. Tank is clean inside and unlined. Now for the bad. There are two small dents/scratches where the handle bars were not adjusted correctly at some point. The controls hit the tank lightly at some time. The damage appears to be very old. A good painter could spot repair both places and preserve the original paint. The front tire has some cracks although it does hold air just fine. If you plan on riding much we suggest a new front tire. All defects are shown in the pictures. RUNS GREAT!!! Just went on a 25 miles test drive. I bought this bike on e-bay in 2014 and when I got it , it did not run very well. I took it to my local Honda dealer (Spent 400.00) and it still didn't run very well. Retired from work a couple months ago and with nothing else to do I started working on the bike. Found a loose wire from the right coil, fixed that. Put some Iridium spark plugs in, changed the oil and cleaned the points. Real surprised the Honda dealership didn't figure this out. Put some 105 octane (Yes it had Staybil in it) and WOW!!! Big Smile on my face. Still have some detailing to do. I think that former owner was in a hurry. Gas tank was painted a nice orange but needed to be color sanded, I can do that(Got the time) Some polishing on the chrome and all should be OK. Oil light is on and I don't know why as I changed the oil and filter. Will run it by another Honda dealer to see what can be done to turn it off. Throttle feels stiff but maybe with 4 carbs to work its supposed to be that way or my right wrist is weak from age and old injury so... Anyway one project down many more to go so time to sell her. I have available a 1975 Honda CB550F SuperSport that is in need of a good home. This vintage girl is a Barn Find that was not in good working condition. The engine was rebuilt and new tires put on as of riding season 2014. Got to ride her quite a bit and she sprang an oil leak recently. Looks to be a hose but don't have the time to fix her up. Bike starts first time and has a built in electric start and Kickstart. I have all receipts for repairs during my time of ownership. Features: Seat has been repadded and wrapped in leather, Extra Gas Tank included and engine guard with highway foot pegs installed. History: I am not the original owner. To my knowledge, There were two owners before myself. I currently have the title in hand. Shipping/Payment: Purchaser must pick up Motorcycle from its current location. 1976 Honda CB 550 owned since 2013. Good condition and never stored outside. Boasts professionally cleaned carburetors. Both tires replaced less than 20 miles ago. Recently replaced cables. Brand new front lamp. New fuel filters and petcock. New brake master cylinder and seals. Was laid down once in the 90's, resulting in a scratched engine badge and slightly dented tank (seen in photos). New carburetor air boots may fix the vacuum leak. Would make a great cafe racer project. Asking $1,700 OBO. Purchase would include original maintenance manual, additional parts, fairing, and add-ons. Additional photos can be taken upon request.

Another project I won't get to....CB550- 4 F Honda Super Sport ALL parts in pictures come with it. The engine is Very good turns over well good compression Gas tank VERY Clean on inside.....Looks like it should clean up GREAT !
