beautiful 1973 750cc toaster tank this bike is restored to look and run like new.it needs nothing.not quite concours but excellent in every way.no dents ,scratches or any obvious blemishes. if you examine it carefully you will see a few tiny marks but you have to be looking for them to notice.the seat is new.the tires are excellent and brakes also.everything works.there are no noticeable oil leaks.the fork boots are good.oil and filter just changed.carbs cleaned and synchronized.it looks like new and rides like new ready to ride anywhere.a really good 750.super reliable and a very classy ride.buyer pays shipping or can pick up on site.

Sport touring cycle comes with two hard case saddlebags, tank case, soft rear seat case, bike cover , a wheel lock and reference manual. I have documentation for services at 24 k was full service in 2007 and 36 K miles in 2009. My husband was a mechanic and did some stuff on his own. There are no current issues with the bike that I am aware of.Add-ons include Engine Protection Bar, foot peg, and hand guard. Both seats and windshield upgraded, original parts go with the bike. New battery and rear brake pads in April 2016. Mileage is plus two of as shown and is 48564 and will change a little as the time goes. Many upgrades and modifications to it. Must see to appreciate. Up for re-sale is my 1999 BMW 1200C, black in color with approximately 9500 miles. The item is relisted because the purchaser did not make timely payment. I am the third owner and have had the bike for 6 years. Always garaged. I purchased the bike from someone who also always garaged the bike. The bike is titled (free and clear) and registered for use in Arizona. I am in possession of the title. The bike is extremely clean. I purchased a set of new original equipment leather saddlebags 2 years ago for about $900. Oil was changed within the last 50 miles. At about 7500 miles, the speedometer broke and had to be replaced. It was done by a BMW dealer and the mileage at changeout was documented. Since that time I have driven the bike about 1850 miles. The battery was just replaced. The leather seat is in great shape along with the back rest. Engine, clutch and transmission have no issues. No electrical problems. All lights and signals are operative. I have the manuals. The bike was just inspected by a local BMW Motorcycle dealer As with all 17 year old bikes there are some minor cosmetic flaws. There is some minimal scuffing on the exhaust pipes (see photos). There is a minor scratch on the back side edge of the gas tank that is hidden from view when riding and hard to find unless one is looking for it. I replaced the tires when I bought the bike. The bike has been ridden little due to health reasons. However, with that said, while the tires have the vast majority of tread on them, the new owner may want to consider replacement in the next riding season. Arizona heat is hard on tires and batteries. The new owner may also want to consider a tune-up since the bike has been ridden little. I am selling this beautiful bike only because I am no longer able to ride. Bikes like this are hard to find and many sell well above $5 and $6K. The bike is sold "as is" and "where is". No warranty is provided, either express or implied. I am unable to help (due to my health issues) with shipping, so the sale is for local pick up only. The bike is available for inspection prior to the end of the sale. If you are considering purchasing the item you are solely responsible paying the $500.00 deposit immediately by PayPal and paying the balance in cash or cashier's check within 7 days of the close of the sale. The ultimate Gentleman's cruiser. The ultimate 70's Superbike. The best BMW. Can you tell I love this bike? Totally original and very very clean example of this gorgeous bike. 1970 BMW R75/5 (SWB) I am the 3rd owner of this gorgeous bike, that spent its entire life in Louisiana until April of 2016. It had only 13k miles on it, and now has 15k. It was running well when I got it, but It's now had extensive restoration work, including but not only, new Omega charging system, battery, seals, fluids, lines, carbs rebuilt, brakes, RaceTech front suspension, Hagon rear shocks, low euro bars, kick stand springs, original style center stand, and more... I have all of the receipts from the items that are listed, and most of the receipts and records for repairs from the BMW shops in Louisiana over the course of its entire life, as well as original manuals and a Clymer Airhead manual. It was a nice bike when I got it, but now it's really something special! Sad to let her go after all this, but not in a position to have a bike at this moment.

This bike was sitting in a shed for 30 years. Time & rodents took their toll.The work done to it includes the following: New tires and brakes ( cleaned & lubed the bearings),New battery, New wire harness with all associated grommets, New front crank shaft & cam shaft seals, New petcock, filters, & fuel lines, New crankcase breather filter, New grips (throttle bevel gear and cables lubed), Complete new ignition system (original magneto coil checked OK), Replaced the center stand with all associated hardware, Cleaned and relined gas tank (paint suffered as a result - see pix) missing right badge, Carbs cleaned & rebuilt, Main ignition switch in headlight bucket and horn/ high/ low light switch rebuilt.The final checkout was done by Adam Cramer, the owner of Liberty Vintage Motorcycles in Philadelphia, Pa. He set the valves, carbs, and ignition timing.I have driven the bike approximately 350 miles since. Drive line fluids have been changed 2 times. Fuel additives for alcohol removal and a lead substitute for the valves & seats were used. The engine oil has STP zinc additive for the bearings and was changed a 3rd time.The bike runs beautifully and does not use / burn oil. The original saddle bags & brackets are also offered. They have been cleaned with a leather conditioner but as the pictures show still need work ( time and mice did a number on the latches). The bike is registered in Pa. and inspected until August 2017.$1000.00 deposit 2 days after auction - balance cash or certified funds due 7 days after auction. The 750 cc motor on this bike runs strong. Kick and electric start, 4-speed transmission. Newer tires. Complete tool kit. Gas tank is "toaster style" from 1971. Low beams only, (perhaps the switch). Speedometer works as well as the tach, but the tach needle is missing. Small repair in front fender. The horn is missing... it has a repaired crack in the headlight lens. Original leather saddle bags with passenger hand holds. Kickstand is good but center stand could use repair. The seat has a small rip on the left rear (see photo) Currently registered and clean title & recently riden. Matching numbers. Does not leak oil. For more information....
