I reluctantly am putting up my BMW for sale, as my age and abilities to handle this bike have diminished. It is a bit too heavy for this old man anymore. It is the gorgeous color (fairly rare) Glacier Green with the matching colored baggage most have the black bags. It is the model with ABS brakes, very nice option. I have records from new, also a Clymers manual. It was serviced with all filters and synthetic fluids this fall. It is covered and kept on a battery tender to stop any sufating in the battery. It has heated grips, electric windshield at you finger tip control, also radio with ant. and handle bar controls. I removed them as I don't listen and wanted the compartment empty, easy reinstall. It is has a nice cover that it sits under in a heated shop on the tender. There are a few small scratches that do not detract from its beauty though. It runs perfect, normal temp, no smoke or oil drips or burning. It is quiet and smooth and a joy to ride. At 58k it is just now broken in for these engines. This engine is the air and oil cooled type. It has never been in an accident or been down. If the buyer wants to leave it here till spring and fly in and drive home, that would be OK ,as of course it would be paid in full. Get ready to cruise anywhere in comfort in the spring. Beautiful original Daytona Orange paint 1975 BMW R90s . I am the third owner of this bike and purchased it this spring in Manchester New Hampshire. I flew out and rode the bike 2600 miles home two up. It currently has 41,859 miles but is going up slightly. The bike runs and rides beautifully. I had intentions of putting all of the original R90s parts back on the bike but have really grown to like the RS fairing and Lester Mag wheels. I do have the original R90s fairing, original spoke wheels, and most of the necessary hardware to return it to it's original configuration as shown in the last picture. I also have a large file of information and service records from the first two owners. The top end was freshened up at 34,995 miles along with the dual plug conversion, I believe this was done in the mid 1980's but the invoice isn't dated. The RS Fairing was installed and painted to match in the early 1980's along with the LESTER mag wheels. The paint on the tanks and fenders is original and is not perfect but is very nice and still shines. There is a small dent on the right side of the tank that is shown in the pictures. The tail also has some scrapes and a crack in the sheet metal where it looks like someone tried to pick it up at some time. I had new Metzler Lasertec tires installed at 41,500 miles I also just changed the engine oil and filter along with the pan gasket and the drive and transmission fluid. I would not hesitate to ride this back across the country tomorrow. Please look at the pictures carefully as this is NOT a perfect bike but is a VERY nice, well sorted, ORIGINAL PAINT rider. Incredibly clean older airhead that's been with me for near a decade.....but I need to let it go. Too many other things going on right now, so not getting to ride near as much as I'd like. 1977 R75/7 750cc - only made for one year. A somewhat rare machine, this thing runs and runs and runs. Not a speed demon, but comfortable enough to ride all day long. The parts are easy to come by, the bike is simple to work on, and the German design is bombproof. Many consider the R75 to be the best engine ever manufactured by BMW. Plenty of decent upgrades on this bike, including an Optima red top battery, upgraded electronic ignition, Krauser hard bags, Reynolds backrest, battery tender, etc. Original tool kit still in place. Has been repainted to original colors at one point, and the paint was very well done. Lower Euro bars have also been installed. Only 32K original miles. Original US bars will go with the bike if the buyer would like to have them. Not a show queen by any means, but a truly nice machine. I get compliments on it every single time I ride it. Very nice sounding bike that handles well and can run all day long. Will likely need tires before the next riding season - otherwise just get on it and ride. Clear Colorado title in my name.
