I have for sale a 1999 BMW R1100GS. If motorcycles could talk, this thing would have a great story. I have not owned it long but since taking ownership it has had the transmission rebuilt with new bearings and seals as well as the timing chain tensioner on the left side upgraded. It currently has 61000 miles on it with a fresh oil change in the engine, transmission and final drive and as far as I can tell is in excellent mechanical condition. I personally have put about 5000 miles on it, 4000 of which is on the tranny rebuild. It is not pretty to look at, but it is set up for long distance adventure touring and it does it with ease. It has a lot of accessories on it which I have listed below:•High Output LED Fog lights•Russel Day Long Driver Saddle•Jesse Luggage system•Throttlemeister•Laser Aftermarket Exhaust (sounds awesome!)•Aluminum Oil pan guard•Hepco Becker Engine Guards•New Battery It also has new brake pads on the rear, and will come with and extra set of used tires with good tread. I haven't changed the current ones yet because there is still a little life left. I purchased it and have had my fun with it, all the while maintaining and fixing things that have needed addressed. I've had it at interstate speeds (80mph) for hours on end, and then get to my destination and go offroad. It truly is a fantastic bike in whatever environment it is in. 1973 BMW R75/5 w/ Sidecar + Wixom bags & fairing - Fantastic daily running shape. & a perfect addition to any motor enthusiast's collection. This is a rare find, an absolute gem. The bike is a '73 BMW R75/5 SWB (short wheel base) in black. The sidecar is an Easyrider in black with matching pin-stripes. The Odo reads 51,3XX but, it was TOTAL Restoration, completely rebuilt from the ground-up in 2010/11. Some facts/extras: /5 body and R75 motor with a /6 5 speed transmission and rear differential. (this helps a ton with the sidecar. The power is smooth throughout with an empty or full sidecar. Unit Forks brand "Earls style" fork. R90 dual disc front wheel/brake Car battery installed in sidecar (in place of stock battery). Tons of crank! OEM Wixom bags and fairing! Rare! Original toolkit + Manual Comes with a box of extras including rear rack, spare clutch cable, spare sidecar tube, spare air filter and tons of other parts from the rebuild. I'll include the matching pin-striped half helmet w/ BMW logo. This bike is not perfect, it has a couple little scuffs and nicks here and there, but that's what i love about it. I've never had a hiccup in the year I've been riding it. I would consider it to be in great/excellent condition for it's age. 1975 R/90 with 5400 original miles!!!! The bike is not a numbers matching machine. The motor,drive train ,fenders and all other components are from the original 5400 mile bike. The original frame was damaged so a different frame was used.The bike looks great for its age. It has scratches some chips in paint,but otherwise a really nice old machine. It starts,stops,shifts well also! That frame is a from a 1975 r90/6 but it had roughly 25000 miles.I also have the number matching engine that matches the frame to go with the bike!According to receipts that I recieved when I bought it here on ebay it has had motor and trans work done.This is the motor that was in the donor frame.There is also the complete driveline,the sub frame,original grab bar because it now has a backrest on it. Along with these parts are also the headlight,headlight bucket,battery box,plus numerous other parts.The motor also has an electronic ignition module for it but installed on the donor motor.It has newer front and rear tires on the donor frames rims. The tires and rims on the bike are the originals from 1975 and are in excellent condition.The bike does have the original owners manuel and several other books that go with it, plus the original tool kit! The only thing changed were the exhausts due to the fact of old age. I do have the original exhausts that go with the bike. The bike has zeuna exhausts from a 1975 bmw R90/6 sport.
