I've been riding motorcycles since 1968 and it's time to slow down a bit. This 2004 BMW R1100S ABS model was purchased in September of 2014 at which time the bike had 4,487 miles on it and I technically became the 3rd owner. (I say technically because the second owner never rode it!) It was my 18th BMW motorcycle and immediately became one of my favorites. It is quick and nimble and definitely not for beginning riders. It was in very nice condition when I got it but since I was doing a "fly & drive" from Knoxville to Pittsburgh it was treated to a complete fairing off cleanup with full BMW Spec-2 service by BMW of Alcoa, including fuel filters, air filter, new plugs, valve adjustment, fuel injection clean, new BMW Gel battery and a new set of Metzler Z6 tires. I have conservatively accessorized the bike with a Sargent Worldsport performance seat, smoke grey sport windscreen (with available Cee Bailey touring windscreen) narrower BMW OEM City Lids, an accessory socket for heated riding gear/battery tenders, engine cylinder head guards, and barbacks to raise standard height bars for a more comfortable riding position. This motorcycle is complete in every way down to factory decals and warnings. The tool set is absolutely complete. It comes with 2 sets of keys and all the original owner's manuals, factory service manual and a BMW soft cover. Please see my photos to get an idea of its thorough present condition. It runs, shifts and brakes perfectly, is turn key, needs nothing. This motorcycle is sold as-is where is, available for inspection but no test pilots. Shipping arrangements or pickup are responsibility of the buyer but I will be available to hand off the motorcycle to your shipper at my residence. I expect $500.00 deposit within 48hrs of close of auction. You can pay the balance within 7 days via cash at pickup, certified bank check or personal check with a hold while funds clear my bank. If required I will send signed off title to the buyer along with owners manuals and receipts once final payment has cleared my bank account. I can store the bike for up to 30 days while you arrange shipment or pickup. This bike was sitting in a shed for 30 years. The engine oil has STP zinc additive for the bearings and was changed a 3rd time.The bike runs beautifully and does not use / burn oil. The original saddle bags & brackets are also offered. They have been cleaned with a leather conditioner but as the pictures show still need work ( time and mice did a number on the latches). 1999 BMW R1100R This 1100 is in very good condition. The previous owner took great care of this one. It has a Corbin Seat and sport fairing. The fairing gives the bike a vintage look. The only problem with the bike is someone clean it and used a chemical that stained the wheels. I tried everything in my arsenal. They are better but still stained some. The wheels are the tubeless wire wheels. I do not have any history on the bike or service records. It does have a BMW battery so my guess is the previous owner toko great care in maintaining this bike as those are not cheap batteries. The paint is black and in very good shape. I have safety inspected and detailed the bike. It needed nothing. The tires are fairly new and have about 70% tread left and the brakes have about 65% pad life left. All the lights, horn and gauges work correctly. The ABS works correctly. It also has factory heated grips. This is a very nice bike and has a great nostalgic look. The bike has been on a reliability run and the motor, clutch, transmission and ABS all work and sound as they should. I have decided to sell my 1995 BMW R1100GS Motorbike. It's in excellent shape and has always been adult owned and responsibly ridden. The R1100GS Series is considered by many enthusiasts to be the best of the BMW GS line and the last to capture the true essence of the classic BMW Dual-sport style, and it's considered to be the world standard for reliability. These bikes regularly go 200,000 miles, with reports some approaching the half million mile mark! I personally have ridden this bike year round, and it's a blast to ride in all season (as long as you're appropriately dressed!) Disclaimer: it's a pretty large bike with a high seat height, so it may not be suitable for shorter riders. This bike is almost completely stock, with the exception of a Corbin seat, PIAA fog lamps, and Acerbis hand guards. The bike is perfect working condition and ready for any adventure. These bikes are meticulously engineered and maximum performance and ride comfort is achieved with stock parts, so I try to stay away from so called aftermarket "Upgrades." I'm selling it because I simply don't ride it enough anymore, and it deserves to be in the hands of someone who will thoroughly enjoy it. I changed all of the fluids at the beginning of the season (Oil, transmission fluid, Rear end gear oil.) The old fluids looked great with no evidence of any excessive wear on any components. The air cooled, fuel injected Boxer twin engine starts immediately in any weather condition and runs quietly and smoothy with tons of power. The clutch is good, and the brakes were given a clean bill of health last year when it was at the BMW dealer. Tires are practically new Michelin Anakee series for great performance in all weather conditions. Keep in mind that it is a 20 year old bike at this point, so it's not perfect, but I would not hesitate to personally ride it across the country tomorrow if I had the need to. 2000 BMW R1200C This BMW was just traded and is considered their cruiser bike. The boxer twin is a 1170cc fuel injected engine producing 71 ft.lb tourqe. The color is tarten green metallic. The previous owner just had a full service done including a valve adjustment about 300 miles ago. The overall condition is very good. It does have a few blemishes which can be seen in the pictures. The forks have a wear mark from a tool bag. There is some pitting on the exhaust. The gas tank has a few scratches on the left side. The rear fender has a wear mark from a bag above the taillight.
