For sale no trades please No test rides without cash in hand, I had one of my bikes dropped on a test ride in the past.....sorry. So, why am I selling: I always told my wife that I loved this bike and that if I ever found another one with very low miles on it I would buy it to replace this one. Well earlier this year one came available with less than 4K miles on it so I bought it. I have no use for my 06 now but I made sure to fix the brakes on it before I sold it as I wanted someone else to enjoy it as much as I have. Probably a dumb move to put $3200.00 in the brakes and then want to sell it but the bike needed to be right before it left the house. My loss your gain. Tires: Front Continental TKC 80 Rear: Heideneau K60 A brand new set of front/rear Kenda Big Block tires will be included as well All of the major problem areas have been addressed on this bike so you should have many many care free miles.....absolutely been a fabulous bike which has never broken down on me ever. I do all my own maintenance except for the difficult stuff which is done by Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg Virginia. Factory recalls for the fuel pump and rear wheel flange have been done. Pros Fuel gauge has a real float and not that stupid POS fuel strip (works beautifully and dead on) 10 gallon tank which can be completely used, put 10 gallons in it a few times, range is somewhere in the 420 to 440 mile range, no need to carry extra gas! Bike computer with miles to empty, fuel mileage, average speed, temperature Final drive replaced with a used unit which has about 15K miles on it Drive shaft u-joints were replaced by Bruno less than 2K miles ago Servo brake/ABS unit replaced with new BMW unit less than 1K miles ago ($$$$$) Front master cylinder replaced with new BMW unit less than 1K miles ago Front brake switch replaced less than 1K miles ago Less than 5K miles on factory seats Less than 5K miles on factory shocks Headlight protection by Touratech Side stand large foot by Touratech Fuel line protection by Touratech Throttle position switch protection by Touratech Front brake master cylinder protection Rear master cylinder protection Clutch master cylinder protection Oil cooler protector Fully adjustable clutch/front brake lever for pull and length (Wunderlich Vario levers) Jesse luggage with lid carriers Luggage support for left bag Remus header PIAA Driving lights (spot) very nice for driving at night Factory GSA driving lights Exhaust extension (keeps your luggage contents from getting hot Large/loud horn installed (use it and people will move) Aftermarket LED tail light insert Factory alarm with all new batteries Also has a throttle lock (mechanical cruise control) Cons Corrosion on front cover near alternator belt from winter riding Corrosion on center stand from winter riding Jesse bags have a few small dents Jesse bags locks are loose (still function as designed) Sticker residue on Jesse bags Jesse bags could use a fresh coat of paint due to scuffs and scratches Marring on windshield support from TT GPS mount (not included) Factory valve cover protection has a few small dents and scratches from drops while Adventure riding, didn't bother me and it never compromised the protection so I didn't bother replacing

So this is the story on this bike. It is currently sitting in a shipping container ready to be shipped to Belize where I moved last August. It has been sitting like this since last Feb 2015 when I was supposed to get it shipped. I just came back in the country Friday to get this stuff shipped out, and I have had a change of heart. Belize is not the place to have a really really nice cycle and expect to keep it that way. I think it would be best for me to sell the bike with the parts and the 06 Aluminum trailer that it sits on. I want to sell these as a package to make more room in the container for other items and to pay off some property taxes up here. I believe that this bike would better kept and maintained in the states. I have a recently fully restored from the ground up in 2013. Its a 72 BMW 75/5 cafe racer. It has the matching restored 74 Velorex Sidecar with BMW Tags both have new seating and custom matching paint job. I have the parts to convert the bike to a /2 front end for permanent sidecar conversion. The /2 fork ans shocks alone will cost you almost $2000 if you can get your hands on a willing seller. I have lots of extra parts like the windshield, and the correct handlebars to convert to a sidecar rider. I also have a 75lb balister that came with the sidecar but was removed during the restoration by the builder. And more parts that I cant remember. I have a long swing for the rear to make the rear wheel stick out more past the seat. The seat is made for 1 up riding for you and someone else or looks great as a single rider. There is a storage space under the seat and I have some new tools under there. The side car is ready to go, but does not ride good with the short cafe racer handle bars that I have on there now. I have the correct expensive handlebar to make it work properly with the sidecar. The trailer is about 18 ft long and is aluminum and weighs about 500lbs. I don't have time to sell off everything in parts but at this price you are still getting a great deal and have lots of options. The bike is in a container in Upper Marlboro Md at a friends property. I will try to get out there to take pics of it in the container on the trailer. But my wallet was stolen in Belize in August and I have to try to get a new license tomorrow to rent a car to get out there. Parts/2 folk and shocks $2000.00Long swing arm $200Winshield $200Aluminum trailer $2000Long handle bar $150More parts that I can't think of. I purchased this 1962 R69S from the original owner in 1991 restored it from top to bottom, inside and out. Over the years I have ridden it approx. 500 miles. This is the real deal that has every nut, bolt and widget that is came new with except some rubber parts and a new after market stock exhaust. The motor was completely gone thur with parts replaced refurbished to original spec. by a top Maryland BMW shop. This bike starts, runs, stops and lights up as it did the day it was sold in 1962. It will only go up in value. Only two minor issues are the black handle bar controls were hand painted and the chrome speedo bezel has a dent. The motorcycle is in Maryland Shipping, crating Ect. is up to the buyer. All reasonable questions answered $500 DEPOSIT VIA PAYPAL .... NO PAYPAL FOR BALANCE

My RT is ebony metallic and has every option except the nav unit but does have the nav prep package. It has the Touring Package (heated seats, GPS Prep, Dynamic ESA, cruise control), Dynamic Package (headlight Pro, Rides Mode Pro, hill start control), Luxury Package, (Sirius satellite radio, Bluetooth Interface, gearshift assist Pro), Comfort Package (chrome exhaust, central locking, tire pressure monitor, antitheft alarm, accessory socket), and the following options. BMW tank bag, Cee Bailey headlight protector, large kickstand pad, head protectors, tank side and top protectors, 3M reflective tape package for luggage (side and rear), and a Fenda Extenda. I wanted to do one more trip out west but I am 74 with some issues so I don't think it is going to happen so I decided to sell this great bike. I have owned many bikes and this one is truly the best bike by far. The 2015 model is almost exactly the same. You will save quit a bit and you will not be disappointed. My personal accessories cost me around $800. Any questions call or text 443-206-2382 Charlie Beard, Port Deposit, Md.

1976 BMW R75/6-R100RS, This is a special project but perhaps not for any reason our readers and those who might be interested probably have in mind. It’s a little more special (not specifically more valuable however) because Bob has known the person this interesting machine came to us from for almost as long as he’s been riding BMW motorcycles. As a result he watched this bike transform from the mostly original R75/6 it began its life as into the once beautiful R100RS hybrid it is now.Right up front we’ll disclose that to the best of the sellers knowledge this bike has about 80,000 total miles. He signed a document attesting to this and has no reason to not tell the truth. We believe that but you can judge for yourself if you don’t agree. It’s a bunch of miles for sure. The odometer shows 9,337 miles and that’s all that he believed was placed on the bike with that speedo which was swapped out at some point years ago. We’ve not ridden it far enough to know if the speedo actually logs miles and with the tires it has we aren’t going to test it out..We firmly believe that it still belongs on the road as it arrived running. But as a PROJECT BIKE it certainly requires a bunch of TLC, some mid-level expertise, a bunch of maintenance parts, tires, carb rebuild kits and a host of other stuff before you address the less than stunning cosmetics. But it is all there and there is a great deal that is hard to see in these teaser cell phone images but here they are just so we could get it up fast. If it does not sell pretty quickly Bob promised to take some better photos and provide a greater more diverse mix of views. For the short term, the astute lurker and efficient hunter-gatherer will call before that happens and steal it.
