2009 BMW K1200LT, Of all the great colors BMW sprayed the fabulous K1200LT we think that Night Black was the absolute best. That’s just our collective opinion so if Champagne, Canyon Red, Toscana Green or one of a few dozen other fine colors is what you love so be it; no offense is intended. But Night Black makes this bike so perfect. Oops we said it again. Oh well. But you’ve got to admit that the chrome plus the satin finish silver on the wheels, lower body panels, the dash trim, handlebar covers and even the saddlebag handles not to mention the entire drive line looks pretty spectacular against that gloss Night Black paint.And all that looks so darn great because this bike is in pretty much new condition, cosmetically and mechanically. It came to us from the same original owner we sold it to in May of 2010. Every single service this bike ever needed or was in the BMW recommended service schedule was performed at Bob’s. We’ve taken it to the next level for a smart new owner as is expected here at Bob’s and so that it fully qualifies for the ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Program.In addition to the extensive Pre-Purchase and Maryland State Safety Inspection and our own highly critical ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Inspection process, checked for any outstanding warranty issues and replaced the left side black tip over guard which had a very tiny mark on it, and we really mean tiny but the bike was so perfect in all other ways we just could not leave it on. We’ve also had it out for a lengthy test ride Aside from that we could not find even the most minor scratch or other cosmetic blemish. We’ve had a few exceptionally nice Night Black 2009 K12LT’s over the past few years, even a few with lower miles but this is hands down the best example by far.This is a fully loaded last edition of this machine which had a full ten year run. They come from BMW with ABS, Tele-Lever and Para-Lever suspension, electric center stand, reverse gear, electric tall windscreen, Xenon headlight, central locking, heated grips, heated seats (both), top case luggage rack with extra brake light, soft touch comfort seat, electronic cruise control, anti-theft alarm, vanity light & mirror in trunk, front and rear tip over guards, radio & CD player and the BMW communications system connections. The owner also added one of the more seriously useful items: the BMW Nav $ GPS system and everything that was included when this was added is still in the box for the next owner.
