2005 Ducati Superbike 999, This is an amazing bike. I hate to sell it, but I rarely have time to ride so it tends to just sit in the garage (covered). I purchased it from Hattar Motorsports in Oct 2010 for $11,500 and only put on 2297 miles on it. I also have all service records including the ones from the original owner who spent many thousands making this bike special, lots of carbon fiber, Sargent seat, Heli bars, open clutch basket, after market exhaust that sounds amazing. (DynoJet specs included)... many, many more! I put on rear Ohlins a couple of years ago as well. Originally a Monoposto (converted from a Biposto with a very rare and expensive tail section from Italy). It has been in low side accident but perfectly restored by Desmoto. It could use a new battery, however, runs great, always garaged, 12,313 miles on it currently. Comes with red key, code card, and manual. No test rides unless I have cash in hand. Extremely fast bike, but easy to ride, particularly with the heli bars making the handlebars a bit higher. The 2005 Ducati 999 is easily one of the best sport bikes of the 2000s. Must see it in person! Only serious buyers and I won't respond to PayPal scams. I'm not desperate to sell it so no low ballers. I have many of the original parts and they are included in the price. Each 2005 Ducati 999 is powered by a liquid-cooled L-twin (two-cylinder) Testastretta engine, with eight intake valves in total. It has a displacement of 998 cubic centimeters (cc). The engine produces 140 horsepower at 9,750 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 80 pound-feet (lb-ft) of torque at 8,000 RPM 2005 Ducati 999 Specs Model: Sport bike (2005 Ducati 999) Engine Type: 998cc liquid-cooled L-twin Testastretta Bore and Stroke (millimeters/inches): 100 / 3.94 x 63.5 / 2.5 Compression ratio: 11.4:1 Valve Train: double overhead camshaft (DOHC), four valves per cylinder Induction: 54-millimeter Marelli fuel injection Ignition: Electric Transmission: Six-speed manual Final Drive: Chain Fuel Capacity (gallons/liters): 4.1 / 15.5 with 0.8 / 3 reserve Brakes (Front): Brembo 12.6-inch / 320-millimeter dual disc Brakes (Rear): Brembo 9.5-inch / 240-millimeter single disc Suspension (Front): 1.7-inch (43-millimeter) Suspension (Rear): twin-sided swing arm Wheelbase (inches/millimeters): 55.9 / 1,420 Rake: N/A Trail: N/A Seat Height (inches/millimeters): 30.7 / 780 Curb Weight (lbs./kg): 410 / 186 (999 Base and 999S); 399 / 181 (999R) Tires (Front): Tubeless 120/70 ZR17 on aluminum wheel Tires (Rear): Tubeless 190/50 ZR17 on aluminum wheel $8,500.00 4156527845
