This bike has an awesome engine. Sounds fantastic, smooth, manageable torque from about 3000 RPMs all the way up to red line, instantly responsive.Capable, rock-steady and stable through the corners. 8,157 miles. All maintenance and repair at Ducati Seattle or Eastside. Service records in hand. Marty Dahl of Ducati Seattle rebuilt the engine at 6,099 miles, including brand new clutch plates, so the new engine has just over 2,000 miles on it. Performance tuned on the dyno. Torquey, smooth throughout. The bike is in great shape. Engine spins right up effortlessly from a cold start. Shifters, gear box, brakes, handling are all perfect. Brand new battery. Termignoni exhaust and ECU. After-market rearsets. Tires are okay, but should be replaced soon.Street legal. It's a sad thing for me to sell it, but a happy thing for you. It turns out that there actually is such a thing as too many motorcycles. Maybe. Two black keys and a red key. Clean title.

9236 mi (2000 miles from race track, 7000 miles from street riding) Clean title, never wrecked Timing belt changed at 6000mi by Ducati Indianapolis Sharkskinz body work with a really good paint job Termingnoni half exhaust system ($2500+) (The half system replaces the exhaust up to about 1ft from the cylinder heads) race ecu + PC3 USB RK 525 chain -1/+3 gearing (14/39) Spiegler braided brake lines front and rear Gilles rearsets CRG Levers Ohlins DU301 (aftermarket, not OEM) rear shock ($1380) and Ohlins piston kits in the forks. The rear shock has hydraulic preload adjustment, high and low speed compression damping adjustment, and rebound adjustment. It is a very nice rear shock, and highly desirable. Woodcraft clutch cover Ducati performance pressure plate + race springs Sargent seat OEM Service Manual Ducati performance anti vibration bar ends New battery March 2016 Fresh oil and Ducati Oil Filter June 2016 New Fork Seals May 2016 September 2016 - Bridgestone RS10 (100 miles on them - one track day) Service in August 2016 before Track Day (Rebuilt rear Brembo caliper, new coolant, inspect clutch - clean & inspect plates, inspect cam belts, service & clean air filter) The previous owner of this bike purchased it in 2007 from an owner in Connecticut with around 5000mi. At that time it was a road going, yellow 999M. In 2010, and with roughly 7000mi, it was converted to a track bike. The previous owner sold the street parts to try to recoup some of the money spent to make it a track bike. The wiring harness has not been cut, but the wires that would go to the lights have been unplugged and removed. The previous owner seemed to take good care of it. As far as track bikes go, this one is in really good shape, but you can see by the pictures that it has been used. It currently has Bridgestone RS10 (only one track day on them - around 100 miles). I'm selling the bike to purchase Ducati Streetfighter 848. I still have the original invoice. The bike cost $16k in 2004 and there is about $10k in modifications.I can send more pictures on request.PS: The stand in the picture is not included this sale.

I am posting my 2006 Ducati 999 for sale. It has 9500 miles right now. It is a great bike I just have some other stuff I'd like to pay for right now. I have lowered the price a good amount already so I'm fairly firm on that and it is more than fair. The price reflects the fact that it has not had the belt or valve adjustment done, I did inspect the belt recently and it is in good shape so you aren't purchasing a bike that's going to have any mechanical issues. It has a full termignoni race exhaust and race ECU. I just replaced both tires so they both have about 400 miles on them. Fuel pump and filter were both just changed, with high flow race pump and chain was cleaned and lubricated. I replaced the battery with a new Gel-pack bikemasters OEM-size battery and have a brand new tender to go with. I just installed a OEM biposto tail section with pegs and I still have the desmosedici single tail section as well. I had DucatiOmaha go through the bike when the tires were replaced and they did not find anything wrong with it other than needing normal fluid maintenance. I recently did an oil/filter change, brake fluid/slave cylinder flush, and spark plugs & air filter within the past few hundred miles and she has been sitting with a battery tender pretty much since, I don't get to ride her very much and nowadays my ride to work is too much on my hands so she just sits covered in the garage. The new biposto tail section I got was used and has some minor little blemishes but nothing major. I have both keys and the red service key with owners manual. Email me for any questions or info.

2004 Ducati 999S Monoposto w/ upgrades. JUST IN TIME FOR THAT CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOURSELF!Of all of the sportbikes I've had and ridden, on road or track, none handles with the confidence inspiring aplomb of this 999S. Compared to the bucking bronco nature of my 1098S this bike is like riding the couch...so smooth it feels as if it on rails, almost impossible to upset. Great front end feedback with strong, linear torque pulling out of the curves, it will have you pushing it more than most anything else you've ridden, too. I first rode a 999 demo bike at a track day on MSR Cresson and fell in love with the Ducati chassis feel and rheostatic torque, but wasn't enamored with the `new' look and didn't get one. Years passed and I got older, didn’t have to have more HP than the next guy, just wanted to corner faster and brake harder. I grew to appreciate the looks of the 999 more and ran across a beautiful sample that I bought. No matter your take on the exterior it has possibly the best looking cockpit on the planet. Besides the normal Ohlins Suspension upgrades from the base 999 this bike has:Full Termi Exhaust System with recently replaced muffler can and heat shield, 999R lightweight Swing Arm, Motoholders Aluminum Subframe (lighter & stronger than stock), Brembo Radial Brake Master Cylinder & Clutch Master Cylinder w/ hinged levers, new Pirelli SuperCorsa tires, recent cam-belt replacement, 12:00 Labs Speedo Calibrator, Carbon Fiber Hugger Fender, intake duct Covers and Heel Guards, aftermarket clutch basket / cover and finally an installed Trickle Charger Cable. It has enough subtle goodies to make it special and unique but not flashy. I much prefer understated appeal and performance than `in your face` styling. One of the best sounding bikes extant unless you prefer a 4 cylinder scream over a throaty growl. In my mind this is nicer on the ears of the people you pass; they'll tend to nod in silent approval instead of reach for their cell phones. I also have a spare right side fairing set, because over time the one on the bike has just started to develop a vibration crack in a corner of the plastic. This bike has 26,000 miles on it. It’s ridden regularly so it’s no polished garage queen, but it still looks superb and has very few cosmetic flaws, none major. Mature owner that knows how to take care of his mechanical toys, you will not be disappointed with this machine. Priced to sell at under 6,000, this is a timeless beauty with more performance capability that 99% of even very experienced riders can utilize.
