Up for sale is my sleek, beautiful, powerful and exhilarating to ride Superbike!!! Although she's 14 years old, she has ONLY 3,825 miles. I always pampered her. I have maintained all oil changes as well as tune-ups. Put on new tires 3 years ago (I would say maybe 200 miles on them). As you can see from the pictures, she has an add-on Termignoni racing exhaust along with the computer chip giving an extra 8hp (not that you would need it). Never raced on track. Just used around neighborhood. Reason for selling: Believe me that I am upset to sell and I do not want to, but as you could see from the milage, she is not being used as it's meant to be. I just do not have the time to ride any longer. It's a shame to keep her in the garage and not be ridden. Also, she has NEVER been dropped!!! Always garage kept and winterized!!! It's time for a new project, so this one is for sale. It is a 2001 Ducati 748 that has been converted to a custom street fighter. Everything has been done to improve the rider's comfort and enjoyment. The custom exhaust and dry clutch make the best sounds that can come out of a motorcycle. With the moto bars and gel seat, you can ride this bike all day without the pains that the stock bike would give you. Nothing has been taken from the performance or speed, though. The 748 motor has plenty of torque down low but still loves to rev. Both, cruising on the highway and carving up mountains has been a blast. This bike has been a super reliable weekend rider and occasional commuter. The oil has been changed regularly and the bike had its belts and valves checked about 3k miles ago. The Trailtech gauge obviously doesn't read the true mileage but it is around 13K at this point. The tires are practically new and haven't even seen the mountains yet. This bike is a well-cared-for, but not showroom perfect. She's a little dirty and there are some small scuffs and scratches from being ridden. All lights, switches and turn signals work except the horn (which I just never put back on, but will give the new owner if they want it). I bought this beauty brand new, and unfortunately, dropped it the first week I had it !@$ No mechanical damage, but, there are scratches on the tank cover, tail cover, and tail pipe (See pictures). As a result, Ive always been tentative to ride it much - just babied it around town. Honestly, I dont have time to ride at all anymore. Sad to say it, but, she has to go. One owner, kept in garage and covered, and less than 800 miles on it! Bike has been ridden on short trips regularly to keep it in good running order. Brand new battery and fresh oil. This bike has 30401 loving miles and is a great daily bike. I purchased it with a blown in-tank fuel line so I tore into it. Replaced all fuel lines and orings, fuel pump and filter, plastic low fuel sender with billet oe replacement, new oem radiator over flow tank, neutral position sender, replaced slave cyl with yoyodynet a/m slave cyl to shorten and smooth out shift pull. I had euro cycle service in NY state replace the internal shift return spring, chamfered to reduce wear and re set the shift fork as well as removed the carbon canister. The bike is chipped by fast by ferracci and has carbon fiber exhaust cans as seen. The bike has 3xx miles on a new set of pilot powers and will fire right up. It has no frame damage at all but the bike fell over either from a false neutral on the kick stand or a new rider at one point in its life. Hence why it has a left side 996 fairing. We can remove the fairings and you will see there is no damage and no welds where they should not be. This bike is a great ride and has never dissapointed me.
