1975 Honda CB400F Supersport First year bike in very original condition, all stock, the only part I can see missing is the chain guard. I bought the bike from the second owner, was purchased new in the next town by apparently a postman, the bike has been sitting in covered storage since 85 when I got it. I rebuilt the carbs with new seals, cleaned the tank and changed the fuel lines, rebuilt the front brake master cylinder and caliper and fitted a new battery. Oiled the chain and cleaned the bike and just generally got it to running and riding condition. It runs like a top, starts on both the kick start and electric start (had to fit an aftermarket start button, as this cb400f suffered the same brittle starter switch failure you always see on these and the 750's with the same switch...) all electrics work, needs a flasher relay which I will fit before it goes. The bike has the original owners manual, tool kit and the personal tag which reads 400SS, I really wanted to keep this but it's a shame to split it from the bike. The original paint is pretty good, there is a small dent on he top of the tank that I think could be popped out and another small dent at the back of the tank, the header on the far right has a little rash right on the corner, other than that the exhaust is in fantastic shape! The rest of the bike is generally good condition for it's age chrome is good, wiring is all intact and not chopped or messed with, tires are pretty tired and will need to be changed before any highway riding can be done, but they do run round with no flat spots and hold air well so could be used for short town stuff for the time being.... The clutch is a little whiney I think that could be just from sitting and might quiet down with use, but it shifts great through all gears. I do not currently have a title but if the buy it now price is agreed I will go and get the bike inspected and titled, which is an easy process on an antique bike in Kansas. Not in a hurry to sell, so please no low balls, bike is advertised elsewhere so may be removed at any time if sold. Thanks for looking, hope to find a home for this one.

1975 Honda CB750F Super Sport. Bike has been sitting for several years, stored in a shed. Same owner for almost 40 years. Odometer shows 22880 miles. Engine turns over. Missing gas tank and air box. Brakes will need work. Original head pipes are in nice shape, aftermarket muffler is rusted through. There are some heavy rust spots on some of the chrome, the worst of which is on the rims and handlebars. The rest of the chrome is showing general wear and some pitting. Fork tubes are really clean. Lower mounting tab on right side cover is broken. Here we have an excellent shape, mild custom 1980 CB750. Japans first really sporty bike. The first Honda motorcycle with a DOHC 4 valve per cylinder engine. Has just undergone a mechanical and cosmetic restoration and customization process. Custom painted in 2003 Mustang Cobra Zinc Yellow, excellent quality body work and paint. Custom made gunfighter seat with black vinyl and yellow carbon fiber look vinyl insert. Spoiler type front fender. Modern mirrors with integrated turn signals (front and rear LED illuminated!). Modern rear turn signals. Kerker 4-1 header with new silver ceramic coat. Jardine sport muffler. NGK yellow silicone spark plug wires and resistor boots. K&N individual filters. New carb boots, new petcock, new fuel line, rebuilt master front master cylinder, rebuilt front calipers, new battery, new igniter, new EBC clutches. Just rebuilt the carbs using genuine Honda parts, rebuilt accelerator pump, fresh oil change, valve lash adjusted, carbs jetted for K&N's, Dyno tuned. Good tires, good brakes. Shifts perfect. I'm sure I'm forgetting lots, but darn near everything mechanical except the engine internals I've replaced. Starts right up every time, no smoke, uses no oil. Rides nice. One fork seal could use replacement in front, haven't gotten around to that yet. While parked (indoors, climate controlled always), the front master started to leak. I've since rebuilt it, but it leaked brake fluid on the freshly painted front fender. So it has some reddish stains there... a real bummer. I tried some rubbing compound, but it did not totally remove it, maybe wet sanding would. Not super noticeable, and I imagine just that half of the fender could easily be repainted or sprayed a contrasting black or the like. I have the original turn signals, a Clymer manual, an extra tail piece, a matching yellow front cafe fairing and I'm sure some other random spares and extras I'll throw in free of charge. All badges were left off, but the mounts are still there if you want to add the oem ones back on. I had intended to use JDM Honda Integra DC5 badges (see photos) in place of the tank badges. They look pretty cool and kind of update the look. This bike was called the Integra in Japan when it was sold there back in the day. I'll include at least one badge, I can seem to find the other. 1978 CB750F with 300 miles on rebuild and a clear title. Bike starts up easy runs and looks great! Listed below are just some of things that have been done to this bike. If you would like to know even more and you are a serious buyer, please email me your phone # and I will call you. Countless hours and money have been spent on the restore. Please use the cursor next to the main picture to view all of them, enlarge and watch video. Rebuilt engine with new timing and primary chains and rings. Head was rebuilt with new valves and had a light port and polish. Motor has about 300 miles since the rebuild and is still being broke in. The ignition system has been upgraded to a Pamco system. No points that you have to mess with or go bad. Frame, swing arm and forks and most of the small parts were Powder coated. Tank and side covers were painted with ppg black. Tank was cleaned and lined. Forks were rebuilt with new seals and the headset bearings were upgraded to roller bearings. New tires. Seat was shortened about 3in and was re foamed and re covered. Brakes were rebuilt with new pistons and seals. I have most of the stock parts if the new buyer wants them. Airbox, turn signals, horns, handlebars, brake light and seat hoop. 1976 Honda CB 750 original condition with clear title. Mechanical: Has 32,0000 original miles, starts up easy and runs very good. Electric start works and it fires right up with no hesitation and idles smooth. The front brake has been rebuilt and with new pads and seals. The back brake works as it should. The tires will need to be replaced because there are sidewall cracks from sitting. The bike handles well down the street, has good power and shifts through all of the gears. The Tachometer and Speedometer both work along with the neutral light. The headlight, tail and brake light all work. The turn signals, horn and hi-lo for the light all work sometimes. It is just the switch and may need replaced or the contacts may need to be sanded down, or it might just need used more from sitting to get the contacts clean again. They do work though sometimes and everything does work, even the turn signal indicator on the dash. Cosmetics: Bike looks real good and is original. The whole bike shows very well. There are some minor blemishes but nothing big. There is a ding in the gas tank on the right top area, left side panel has some plastic missing, light chrome wear and other normal wear. The seat has no rips, gauges, exhaust all look great. If you look at the pictures and video you can see for yourself. Overall: This is a great original Cb750 that I bought from the original owner. I have a clear open title under his name. I never registered it myself it has been in closed storage. I have the key for the ignition/seat. Has a fairing and motor guards that can be taken off for a more sportier look. Leaks no fluids, starts, idles and drives well.
