Amazingly clean and mechanically tight un-restored, original RD-250. "Survivor" is an understatement. The paint on the tank, side covers, frame are really unique (show room quality comes to mind, no fading whatsoever, graphics are perfect). And the chrome is truly special. Of course the frame and engine VINs match. I've looked at a lot of RD250's, RD350's and RD400's (and DS7's) from 1971-1976 and I have not found one as clean as this one. This bike starts right up and sounds great. The oil injection works flawlessly and does not smoke at all (only using Yamalube of course). The clutch and six speed transmission both work like you drove it off the showroom floor in 1974. All electronics work to perfection (horn, signals, displays, lights). The only items that are not original on this bike are the battery, tires, and handlebars. Hagarty's and NADA value these bikes in the 4-5K range if they are "excellent" in condition for what that's worth (probably not much since bikes this old have to be evaluated individually). For an un-restored motorcycle, I would have to rate this one as excellent. Odometer is currently at 3,900 miles. If you're very interested in an unmolested (i.e., not "cafe'd" by the younger crowd) RD-250, this is worth a look. No trades. And please don't email me an offer of $2,000 (I still enjoy riding it). After dialog with an interested and informed potential buyer, I'll gladly provide actual photos that have not been compressed by the Craigslist server, especially if you're coming from a distance. Voice and email only (no texts). I have title and registration, so you can easily register in ANY state.

Both of these bikes are very solid and can become great trail bikes/dual purpose motorcycles. The one with that's more complete has ran less than a month ago and I have video proof of that on my phone. It's really fast and fun to ride, all it needs is a new stator and it will be good to go. The timing was a little too advanced when it was last ran. It has a little under 10k miles on it(see picture) it doesn't have the key, and it has a brand new battery that needs to be charged. The second bike I basically bought as a parts bike for the first one but I ended up just leaving it alone. It has a LOT less miles than the first bike, only around 17 hundred. Its missing the rear fender, its in a little bit rougher shape than the other but, mechanically it shouldn't take much to get it going. both of the tanks have some small dents and are both pretty clean on the inside but have some rust spots.Basically what you see is what you get, these are both very nice bikes and you're getting them for the price of one. If I had the money I would fix up and ride both. BOTH DO NOT HAVE TITLES! NO TITLES BILL OF SALE ONLY!

Hello there. I have for sale an extremely clean 1974 Yamaha RD-350 cafe racer restoration. Let me list a few of the mods: powder-coated frame, ding-free tank, aluminum rear-sets, shaved heads with aftermarket pistons, K&N Y-filter and jetted carbs, Dyna electronic ignition, Barnett clutch springs, braided-steel front brake line, clean wire rims, good chain and rubber, Factory expansion chambers with custom-made stinger tips. steering dampener and probably some more things that don't come to mind right now. I wired in a battery tender and the sale also comes with a helmet, leather jacket and riding gloves. She has a clear title and is a garage queen with a non-op reg right now. If you're interested in owning a piece of history, or just want to relive your high school days ( I had a 1975 350 and 2 1977 400s in high school), please drop me a line. If you're serious, I have some really nice pix I can email.

Up for sale is my 1974 Yamaha TX500 café style bike. I will try to list everything done to the bike but may miss some things. clip on bars different headlight/speedo setup from 1960's Yamaha newer battery all new front braking system including larger master cylinder for dual discs, new calipers and shoes, new brake hoses, banjo bolts, brake light switch, etc. the fuel petcocks were rebuilt custom taillight/ rear hump/ seat built from another Yamaha fuel tank custom made seat pad new air filters and mufflers with carbs re-jetted to run correctly new points all new cables covered with gray heat shrink, some NOS cables steering damper welded on to frame tachometer block off cap bronze swing arm bushings new fork seals and dust covers forks rebuilt with new progressive springs and race tech gold valves new progressive rear shocks sprung for 160 lb rider new tapered steering head bearings new coils/ plug wires/ and plug boots/ plugs this bike has the oil filter adapter kit so you can use a modern oil filter on it numerous new rubber parts including foot pegs, shifter, kicker, kick stand stop, grommets, etc. all case cover oil seals were replaced case covers and valve cover was polished NOS clutch adjuster bolt/nut new drive chain NOS brake and shifter petals new aftermarket kicker new grips NOS chrome trim rings for side covers I have not gotten into the motor at all other than to adjust the valves. It still runs strong so I did not feel the need for a rebuild. The original gauges had 14692 miles on them when I replaced them with the current gauge. The blue was professionally painted as close as could get the factory color. Base coat/clear coat. All of the silver (frame, swing arm, fork bottoms, handle controls, etc) was also done in base/clear coat by me. The rims are just spray bombed black. I also have about $400-$500 in chrome nuts and bolts. Most everything on the bike was either replaced or reconditioned. Everything on the bike works as it should, runs, drives, stops, shifts, lights work. There is a small dent in the tank from where bike fell against my work bench. See pics. Also, I currently have the front fender on the bike to keep the road dirt down. It is a little rusty but comes with the bike if you want it. Bike is currently registered as an antique in PA. Clean title in my name. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff so any questions let me know. Email, call or text 717-503-5181. Colby Asking $3500 obo Shipping: I can assist in shipping this bike if necessary. I have used a couple shippers in the past or you can use your own. If you live within reasonable distance I can deliver for an additional fee. Other than that you can also pick up the bike yourself. CASH ONLY. I don't need a down payment through paypal but please have cash to pay for bike.

I am selling my pride and joy (to fund another project) a 1974 RD350. This bike is a full blown custom. Almost nothing is stock. I did ALL of the work myself, except paint. All motor work, welding, fabrication, electrical etc was done by myself. I am a machinist and fabricator by trade. Here is a partial (what I can remember off hand) list of additions/modifications. 1. set of Vanguard stainless steel expansion chambers (I used to sell these through Economy Cycle, only 8 sets exist. these are set number 1.) 2. Hydraulic clutch. Hyabusa master cyl and slave cyl (IIRC) excellent function. Self adjusting. 3. Dual front discs, drilled, all Yamaha parts except brake lines (ss) and hyabusa master cyl. 4. Rebuilt front forks. Have new progressive springs, not installed yet. Included in sale. 5. IRC road winner tires with plenty of life left. 6. SS spokes (needs SS spoke nuts, current ones were plated and have rusted) 7. New(ish) chain and sprokets. 8. Clubman Bars 9. Custom Gage pod (SS) 10. aftermarket headlamp. 11. RD400 tank. Perfect inside. no dents. has fuel crossover tubes welded, has new dual petcocks. 12. Mikuni TM 28 flatslides. 13. GFTP fiberglass seat. 14. Battery now located under seat. 15. SS liscence plate bracket. 16. Newtronics elec ign. 17. setup for premix. no pump. 18. Custom polished SS intake and air filter mount. 19. new rear shocks. I have an old set of Mulhollands I will include. 20. Stock porting timing, but the base transfers have been extensively modified, very good job done on them starting with custom cnc profiled 3d milling. Case matched. 21. Heads modified for correct squish profile and gap. 22. Banshee reed conversion. CNC milled reed cavities. 23. rebuilt crank. 24 Pro-x standard size pistons. 25. tapered steering stem bearings. 26. new wheel bearings. 27. new tubes 28. new cush rubbers 29. new sealed battery 30. Custom rearsets (one of a kind) 31. Frame reinforced with nice gusseting. 32. frame, brakes etc powdercoated gloss black. 33. swingarm has bronze bushings. This bike is fast, powerful, loud, lean, mean and aggressive. Everywhere I take it people cant help but stare. I have an easy several hundred hours into this bike. I will be sad to see it go, but I am into a new project that I need to raise cash for. The bike is currently- plated, titled and insured. Runs excellent. I will ship (if we discuss and agree on terms of shipping first) I can crate (if we discuss and agree on crating terms first) I can deliver to the Forward Air detroit branch for free. All shipping and crating costs and arrangements must be negotiated and agreed upon or a sale will be deemed invalid. No warranty. bike is in excellent running condition, but is sold as-is. Payment only via cash or certified check. A paypal deposit is acceptable. I can be reached on my cell for questions and more pics. seven 34 eight three4198one
