The V7 III Stone now has stronger and more personal aesthetic connotations than its predecessor. Eclectic and essential, it foregoes any chromium parts, embracing the darkness of its matte black paintwork that goes well with the graphic dedicated only to the V7 III Stone of the saddle, fitted with a passenger grab strap. It is, however, available in other attractive, satin finish colors inspired by typical '70s shades: Nero Ruvido, Azzurro Elettrico, Verde Camouflage and Giallo Energico. The total “dark matte” look characterizes the V7 III and distinguishes it from the other versions, but that is not the only difference. V7 III Stone is the only one of the “four-of-a-kind” to have spoked wheels and single circular display instrumentation. The front fender has also been shortened in order to highlight the essential look of this model. 2016 Moto Guzzi Stelvio NTX 1200cc (new!!!) The front fairing, windscreen and the half-fairing with integrated turn signals are all brand new elements that together, give the front-end of the Stelvio a cutting-edge look. The design is original, but stays in line with the soul of the Stelvio and is more functional and versatile. More efficient aerodynamic protection, thanks to the new top fairing and practically twice fold range capacity thanks to the outstanding new fuel tank with a 32 liter capacity. Where you're going, you don't need roads. The heart that beats inside this stout bike is the renowned 90° transverse V-twin "Four valve" engine, the highest performer among all the families of engines manufactured at Mandello del Lario. This engine has now reached exclusive levels as far as its technical/performance development is concerned. The NTX features more protection for the motor and the rider alike. Aluminum crash bars protect the oil sump, engine, and cylinder heads. While hand-guards and the extra large windshield and additional wind deflectors offer more protection and comfort for the rider. A bike dedicated to long haul travellers naturally needs luggage space, the Stelvio does not disappoint with spacious aluminium panniers and additional halogen lights. The Stelvio 1200 NTX tackles a twisty mountain pass or a gravel strewn fire road with equal aplomb. The secret is the new upper twin spar frame, made of high-strength steel, with 2.5mm thick directional tubes, where the engine is anchored through six connecting points providing higher rigidity, two more than in typical frames. Chassis geometries have been designed to facilitate handling, a headstock with a 27° of rake and 125mm trail, improved by a 60.4 inch wheelbase guarantees impeccable handling. The fully adjustable 45mm USD Marzocchi fork with 170mm of travel ensures an instant, smooth response. At the rear, a rebound and preload adjustable Sachs monoshock supports 155mm of travel. The refinement of the suspension guarantees a neutral setting at all times. When accelerating out of a corner, asking the "Quatrovalvole" engine for it's 105 horsepower, or when braking, mighty deceleration generated by the three-disc Brembo braking system (supported by the adjustable Continental ABS). The Stelvio NTX sports 320mm double disc front brakes, while retaining a 282mm brake disc at the rear. The wheels boast a cutting-edge set of light alloy rims with a 150/70-17 rear tire. Tubeless spoked wheels (patented Alpina STS system) come standard on the NTX. 2016 Moto Guzzi GRISO SE (NEW) The Griso 8V SE might well be one of the most unique and captivating motorcycles to come out of the Mandello Del Lario factory.  The bold character expressed in the nonconformist styling of the Griso is given further emphasis by the aggressive new black/silver color concept in a matte tone that flows elegantly with the numerous black painted metal elements such as the frame, wheels, steering plates, handlebar and instrument panel covers.  “His power became greater in reality and in the minds of others.” This is a description of ‘Griso’, a character in ‘I promessi sposi’ by Alessandro Manzoni, one of the most famous works of Italian literature. In the book, Griso is a tough and fearless leader of the Bravi, and a man “who naturally undertook all the most daring enterprises”. This description could just as well be applied to the new Rosso Griso 8V SE, the most exciting and spirited of all Moto Guzzi models, designed to create a new, more intense concept of sports riding based on sheer power and four valve cylinder technology. Designed to respect a tradition that has lasted forty years, the new engine adopts the rational 90° transverse V twin layout but with 563 new parts, and introduces for the first time a single overhead cam valve timing and silent running Morse chains to operate the four valves per cylinder. 75% of this highly developed Moto Guzzi 1200cc engine has been modified compared to its predecessor, to produce 110 HP at only 7500 rpm and a maximum foot pounds of 80 foot pounds at 6400 rpm. The Griso 8V SE is an instinctive creation, pure, solid and distinctive and in many ways a work of art. The design details are discreet but elegant and pure quality; the lines blend together and are accentuated by the chrome finishing and satin metal form. The fuel tank lends itself superbly to the strong frame creating an aerodynamic teardrop body which is continued through to the tail which houses three high intensity LED light units. The Griso is decidedly masculine and powerful yet the “Quattrovalvole” engine seems to be set like a jewel in a frame that shows off its revolutionary design to the utmost effect. Returning to its performance, it becomes obvious that the sophisticated components are not mere technical details included for the sake of style but enhance performance and provide guaranteed reactivity. 2017 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber (NEW) SPECIFICATIONS: Engine: 90° V-twin, 4-stroke, 2-valves per cylinder Cooling: air and oil Capacity: 853 cc Compression Ratio: 10.5 : 1 Power: 40.44 kW (55 HP) at 6,250 rpm Torque: 45.7 ft-lb  (62 Nm) at 3,000 rpm Fuel System: Marelli MIU single-body electronic injection, integrated management of traction control on 2 levels Emissions: Euro-4 compliant Final Drive: Shaft Frame: ALS steel twin tube cradle frame Front Suspension: standard fork, Ø 40 mm Rear Suspension: swingarm with two shock absorbers, with adjustable spring preload Front Brake: stainless steel floating disc, Ø 320 mm Brembo opposed four-piston calipers Rear Brake: stainless steel floating disc, Ø 260 mm Brembo opposed two-piston calipers Saddle Height: 30.9" (785 mm) Curb Weight: 438.7 lbs (199 Kg)* All current Moto Guzzi motorcycles include a 2 year unlimited-mileage warranty. V9 Bobber: Moto Guzzi has created a new segment Bobbers appeared in the United States after World War II, built by passionate riders who stripped away all details superfluous to their goal of running fast on dirt tracks. To compete in these conditions the riders used to mount oversized tires, giving the bikes a wide footprint. In line with this style, the V9 Bobber abandons any chrome plating and glossy finish for matte black details. The side panels and fuel tank are thus pitch black, with just a few graphic details in yellow or matte red. The exhaust unit, mirrors and both metal mudguards are painted in “dark matte”. The rear mudguard has been carefully shortened and reduced in size, so as well as including a very compact optical unit, it makes a big contribution to the minimal look of the V9 Bobber. The matte black wheel rims, both 16 inches, are elegantly decorated with the Moto Guzzi logo in grey; the front rim is shod with a tyre that has an oversized shoulder (130/90). The MY 17 V9 Bobber also differs from the V9 Roamer because of the more crouched and sporty riding position, provided by the lower, black painted drag bar handlebar and the aluminium footpegs mounted 100 mm farther back and raised 35 mm. This technical choice guarantees a more active and extended posture and ensures more on board space and comfort, even for taller riders. The forward-mounted footpegs kit is also available as an option for the V9 Bobber, whereas the new series footpegs and saddle can be installed on the 2016 models in order to make the new ergonomics available to all V9 owners. 2017 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Flying Fortress The Italians have their own interpretation of almost everything, in motorcycling they have chosen to express most of their passion for cruisers and baggers with the Moto Guzzi line of California models. In that uniquely Italian way, they have definitely gone the road less traveled with the Moto Guzzi MGX-21, the worlds first and so far only carbon fiber "Bagger" class bike. Truly the net result is like nothing ever before to haunt the interstates and back roads of the planet. The MGX21 is motivated forward by the 1400cc motor common to the California line of bike but with red valve covers for a little taste of Italian flavor if the carbon bodywork did not give you enough!  The motor is a single throttle body, ride-by-wire fuel injected machine with true electronic cruise control. The fenders, bags, tank panels and a lot more are carbon fiber, not a wrap or carbon-look plastics but the real deal. Long has the joke been that carbon fiber is "Italian Chrome" but never has the statement carried such impact. The chassis sits higher by almost two inches than the rest of the 1400cc line, this makes the bike feel a bit heavier than it's 1400cc siblings but in reality it weighs no more, what it does have a LOT more of though is cornering clearance! This is a full size bagger equipped with ABS, Traction Control and smartphone connectivity plus a bitchin' stereo, plenty of other baggers can claim these things, what they will never do is dominate corners and twisty roads at the pace or with the ease of the MGX, it flat handles.  Brakes are off the shelf Brembo superbike items, this is no porky HD where applying the brakes is a disappointing experience, when the pads bite into the 320mm Brembo disks the MGX stops or slows with an aggression that no bike of this size can match! I seldom gush about cruiser style bikes but, this ladies and gentlemen is a rather different machine, it has a dominating presence that cannot be ignored, just as happy at full lean at a track day as it would be a Sturgis (where it got rave reviews btw) or Dayona Bike Week or the ROT rally.  Truly a motorcycle that must be ridden to be appreciated. I love how it feels like it looses 200 lbs by the time you hit a mere 10mph. If you are looking for something different and like standing apart from the crowd while riding a faster, smoother, cooler running, better braking and wicked handling machine then you truly should try this bike out! We have a demo for a reason! 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II Racer (NEW) V7 II is now safer thanks to the standard dual channel Continental ABS system and traction control (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione) and more enjoyable to ride thanks to a new 6 speed gearbox. The revised engine position and improved ergonomics have greatly enhanced riding comfort. Seat is now lower at 31.1 inches - 790 mm as opposed to the previous 31.6 in - 805mm, also the footpegs have been lowered to make room for taller riders. The new riding position lets the rider enjoy the full benefits of the changes that have been made to the chassis which have made the front end more precise and efficient. All these improvements contribute to fully meet expectations in terms of aesthetics and riding pleasure. For the first time the Racer will be produced with a satin finished tank, the black/metallic grey paints are matched at an angle emphasized by a red line that is virtually a continuation of the distinctive V7 Racer red frame. In search for a more understated look the "7" has been eliminated from the number plates which now have a satin finish like the mudguards. The total-black look on the side panels, mirrors, silencer brackets and footpeg guards, first introduced on MY15. The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style. The completely re-engineered engine still relies on the engineering that made the Moto Guzzi V750 a success among riders in 1977. Since then the engine has been continuously updated yet stays faithful to the original genial layout introduced by Italian engineer Lino Tonti in the 70s. While maintaining the classic transversal 90° V-twin configuration, the engine is now comprised of more than 70% new components. Cutting-edge technological solutions improve functionality, provide greater torque and power even at low rpms, and make the V7 more efficient, with higher fuel economy and reduced emissions. The fuel tank brings with it a superior metal construction is light and allows a record fuel capacity for a bike of this size with 5.8 gallons which, together with reduced consumption, ensures a range of up to 310 miles. This is further proof of the design philosophy that has guided the entire V7 family: engineering innovation is always intended to restore pleasure to the rider of gripping a real, resounding metal tank in true Moto Guzzi tradition. As with all of Moto Guzzi's on-road motorcycles, the V7 II Racer ABS comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty. 2016 Moto Guzzi V7 II Stornello Scrambler ABS (NEW)A TRUE FACTORY SPECIAL Many of this bike's parts are made in valuable and lightweight aluminium, such as the injector covers and the side panels, both anodised in black; the steel handlebars are also done in the same "dark matt" finish. The offroad look is completed by the fork dust boots, indispensable for protecting the stanchions from dust along adventurous routes and by the offroad footpegs kit, fitted with aluminium extensions that provide better grip for the rider's soles during use on the road. The kit includes the rear brake terminal, also longer and made in aluminium. The number holders represent a widespread classic element on competition bikes from the '70s era and already an element on the V7 II Racer with the number "7", which for Moto Guzzi was dear to the 250 world champion Enrico Lorenzetti. There are three on the V7 II Stornello, made in satin finish aluminium and enhanced by a laser inscribed V7 II Stornello logo. The set of three number holders perfectly matches the fantastic pair of mudguards, also in hand brushed aluminium. These are probably one of the most prestigious and exclusive parts on the V7 II Stornello, true works of hand scribed art.  TECHNOLOGICAL AND INIMITABLE The new Stornello was built on the excellent and popular technical base of the V7 II, the second generation of the brand's best selling motorcycle, the only one in its segment that comes standard with safety systems such as ABS and Moto Guzzi traction control that can be disengaged (MGCT), as well as a six speed gearbox. Moto Guzzi V7 II, whilst keeping the stylistic personality of the previous model intact, takes a decisive and concrete step forward in terms of technical features, the engine, ergonomics, safety, construction quality, trim and riding pleasure. The technical revamping begins with the engine: launched in 2012 with the thermal part, the electronic management and engine fuel system which then continued with a newalternator and the introduction of forced lubrication with an oil pump, on the V7 II it reaches a new and further development level. The by now famous transversal 90° V-twin engine now has a new six speed gearbox with the closer first and last two ratios capable of decreasing the drop in rpm between one gear and the other, decidedly smoother, quieter and with more precise engagement. For daily riding this means a quicker response when you twist the throttle and greater comfort (thanks in part to the changes made to make the clutch softer), with lower fuel consumption.
