V11 Le Mans. A Name, a Destiny.Endless racing marathons, nights at the wheel with alternating drivers at the helm…the same mythology of speed and passion for motors, forever also linked to the models that have excited the imagination of entire generations of fans of the “Eagle of Mandello”.In 2001, the very sporty V11 invokes the legend again, in a version destined to make history, just like last year's motorcycles: Moto Guzzi launches the semi-streamlined V11 Le Mans. The new Le Mans was born out of the need for perfomance with grater high-speed driving comfort. With this model, the performance remains intact; but the horizons of the driver are expanded. There is a greater overall driving comfort, thanks in part to the aerodynamic protecion of a half fairing. The traditional Moto Guzzi character and looks remain, but with greater range for longer trips in style and comfort. In particular, the engineers at Moto Guzzi have worked to increase stability, with a meticulous tuning of the bike’s steering. In the V11 Le Mans, aerodynamic disturbances do not influence motorcycle performance, affording the driver greater control. Its sporty spirit does not spare a single ounce of comfort. The design and color scheme of the V11 Le Mans are also new and impressive--the elegant black color of its motor and the front-end forks, the sophisticated sportier designs in Le Mans Red and Cristal Cuvèe.V11 Le Mans will be available for the USA market in the third quarter of 2001.

New tires! Hard bags! 2008 Moto Guzzi 1200 Breva Sport Blends Naked Style, Cruising Comfort This sporty edition of the "Italian Eagle" attacks the asphalt mile after mile – with Italian style, more power and a smoother-than-ever ride. The new 2008 Moto Guzzi 1200 Breva Sport is the most aggressive sibling in the Breva family of Naked bikes, which includes the Breva 1100 and Breva 750. With added horsepower and more torque available at even lower revs, lowered gearing and a host of other performance enhancements, the Sport is also the ideal Moto Guzzi for the rider who wants to log cruising miles in comfort while having an arsenal of performance features on tap. And, while the tech specs point to the Breva Sport’s penchant for setting a pulse-quickening pace, this V-twin Naked also sends a serious message while standing still, thanks to classic racing graphics, a racing exhaust and standard equipment like a tubular, low-rise handlebar, titanium-treated forks, a café-racer style fairing, aluminum foot pegs, sports seat, sport tires and powerful wave front disc brakes. A full Racing Kit for optimum performance is an added option. When Carlo Guzzi engineered the first Moto Guzzi over 85 years ago, he wanted to shatter the notion that motorcycles should sacrifice function, reliability and comfort for pure speed. His philosophy that the perfect motorcycle offers a balance of all these riding qualities has inspired every Moto Guzzi designer and engineer since, and the 1200 Breva Sport again celebrates the company founder’s unique point of view.
