This low production Griso model is perhaps the most exciting styling exercise this small Italian firm hand builds in Italy in decades. They show exceptionally nicely turning heads whenever they are seen. They have great ergonomics, sound wonderful and most importantly zip down the road like nobody’s business.This is THE GUZZI TO OWN! With an 11,51 cc V-twin engine, six speed gearbox, 80 ft. lbs. of torque and 110 HP it will fly but can easily be stopped by the BREMBO brake sup front and in the rear. Plus it only tips the scales at 489 pounds making it a solid yet light weight cruiser/standard/sporting machine with few to no real comparable offerings in the entire market.This one is super clean had had just a single owner since new and due to needing to move around the coin try due to his employment he never got to ride it that much. But it was always cared for exactly when it was suggested so both the initial break-in service and the follow-up oil change based more on time than miles have been completed. The tires are perfect and show at most 15% wear.

He was, and is still impressed with how good the ergonomics are for a machine of this stature. With 2,294 cc’s and roughly 146 HP this 807 pound (wet weight) rolls down the road better than most lighter big cruisers. And with 163 Ft./Lbs. of torque at just 2,750 RPM the power comes on effortlessly. But like any other pre-owned, pre-loved or used offering it’s enjoyed a visit with the pros in the Bob’s Service Department so that everything is up to our high standards for the next owner. It’s seen a fresh oil and filter change, Nitrogen fill in the Metzeler tires which easily have 95% of their tread available and then saw a 14 mile test ride by a Master Technician. Of course we ran it through our detailed PPI process as well as completing the Maryland safety Inspection check list. 2005 Triumph BONNEVILLE

2005 Triumph BONNEVILLE, Now this makes us nostalgic for the bikes many of us started riding some years back. Of course they were not all old leaky British machines but every brand on the planet; a few of us were lucky enough to start with an old Beemer. This 9 year young, well cared for, one owner Bonneville still looks like the classics of many decades past but is new enough to be more dependable, more easily maintained and a lot more fun. And they no longer leak!Because the original owner was meticulous in the care and feeding this example is in superb overall condition and worthy of a phone call sooner verses later so someone else does not beat you to it. The mileage is original and accurate. It was always ridden but generally not very far. Nothing original has been replaced except for the tires plus the engine oil and filter. It has a few nice and very useful extras and it runs purrfectly.It was always serviced by dealers since it was first purchased. According to the owner and our own detailed inspection it has never been in any kind of crash or other incident to be concerned about but there is evidence to support the sad story that it was dropped in their driveway leaving a tiny scratch on the brake lever, rear turn signal, mirror, muffler and windscreen but these are really tiny and with the exception of the screen edge need to be searched for to see. We don’t believe they detract from this otherwise beautiful machine in any significant way.Our master techs have taken it out for a nice ride and it performs flawlessly. It has been run though and has completed successfully our MSI-PPI process and has a fresh Maryland safety Inspection certificate on file. It has a small handful of nice extras that are almost being included at no extra cost – the saddlebags both look the classic part but are highly useful, the windscreen is in great shape sans the small scratch on the edge and is easily removed in the hottest weather should you desire, there is an oil temperature dip stick and a set of very cool, polished aluminum MAS Engineering side number plates that could be left as is or you could add something very personal from your lucky number to a fun graphic.

1976 BMW R75/6-R100RS R

1976 BMW R75/6-R100RS, This is a special project but perhaps not for any reason our readers and those who might be interested probably have in mind. It’s a little more special (not specifically more valuable however) because Bob has known the person this interesting machine came to us from for almost as long as he’s been riding BMW motorcycles. As a result he watched this bike transform from the mostly original R75/6 it began its life as into the once beautiful R100RS hybrid it is now.Right up front we’ll disclose that to the best of the sellers knowledge this bike has about 80,000 total miles. He signed a document attesting to this and has no reason to not tell the truth. We believe that but you can judge for yourself if you don’t agree. It’s a bunch of miles for sure. The odometer shows 9,337 miles and that’s all that he believed was placed on the bike with that speedo which was swapped out at some point years ago. We’ve not ridden it far enough to know if the speedo actually logs miles and with the tires it has we aren’t going to test it out..We firmly believe that it still belongs on the road as it arrived running. But as a PROJECT BIKE it certainly requires a bunch of TLC, some mid-level expertise, a bunch of maintenance parts, tires, carb rebuild kits and a host of other stuff before you address the less than stunning cosmetics. But it is all there and there is a great deal that is hard to see in these teaser cell phone images but here they are just so we could get it up fast. If it does not sell pretty quickly Bob promised to take some better photos and provide a greater more diverse mix of views. For the short term, the astute lurker and efficient hunter-gatherer will call before that happens and steal it.

1998 BMW R1200C

1998 BMW R1200C, It always bothers us when an otherwise decent low mileage bike shows up not running and in this kind of neglected condition All because the past owner simply never rode the darn machine. We think there was only one but it’s possible two prior owners had this one in their respective garages. Back when it was still under warranty BMW covered replacement of some assorted parts due to the finish failing. And we’d guess based on what we now reviewed that it mostly suffered from not being regularly ridden, cared for, serviced or washed and polished now and then. But whatever the reasons behind its history all that adds up to a great opportunity for someone to grab a solid Bob’s PROJECT BIKE!This one was originally delivered outside this immediate area and ran out of BMW warranty back in February of 2001. From what we can determine the mileage is correct and original but this is impossible to know with 100% certainty. However the seller did sign off on a Federal Odometer statement so we’re pretty sure it is as shown. It is a standard BMW Cruiser with factory ABS or anti-lock brake system for any non-BMW owners looking at this. It has the factory high USA style handlebars, BMW cylinder guards which incorporate a set of relaxing highway foot rests and a leather riders seat with the very unique passenger pad which also flips up to become an adjustable 3 angle riders backrest – an expensive little factory option all by itself plus that aftermarket passenger backrest is now NLA and pretty hot stuff. The wire wheels were also standard but certainly not cheap stuff when new, just like the chromed valve covers and double wall headers.

This one is really fine and OMG is it loaded with good stuff; we’ll get to that shortly.THIS. BIKE. IS. IMMACULATE. PERIOD.There is not much out there in the motorcycle world that can best the perfect combination of black paint, black driveline finishes and chrome. It is critical that it be the right balance of each. All too often we bikes built from catalogs which are just too much. Not this one.THIS. ONE. CAME. OUT. PERFECTEven if you are not a BIG fan of chrome this one will impress you. Our regular died-in-the-wool-tattooed BMW customers are stopping to look it over. Closely. And yes, some BMW owners have BMW tattoos. Real ones.It needed nothing when it arrived. The fluids were freshly changed before it arrived and had always been changed on schedule. The tires were fresh too, just 60 miles and 30 days old. It was even owned by one of our regular BMW clients. So aside from running it through the Maryland Safety Inspection process to issue a new MSI certificate our task was fairly clean and fast and the previous owner, number two since new, left on his new BMW.
