We've had a number of these fine Yamaha V-Star cruisers over the years and this one is about as clean and solid as we've ever seen in trade, let alone been handed to us to do good with. And as a donated bike our goal is to find a good home, do so in a timely manner and then turn over all the net proceeds to a very worthy cause. The weather is perfect for someone to take new ownership of this bike and just have fun. It's a super low mile, exceptionally well cared for example and anyone would be pleased to call it their own.We wish to disclose that while this is not a PROJECT BIKE it also does not carry the same warranty or guarantee that an ADVANTAGE CERTIFIEE BMW might if offered and sold by Bob's. Clearly this is Yamaha’s answer to the top of the line, fully decked out Harley-Davidson and they did it well. There is a great fairing with beautiful lines and instrumentation, plenty of carrying capacity in the saddlebags and trunk plus both the rider and co-pilot will be sitting in the lap of serious comfort in this beautiful and comfortable dual saddle; the passenger gets a sweet backrest as well. With front and rear tip-over guards, dual sets of floorboards and PIAA auxiliary lighting to illuminate the roads after dusk this is a serious touring machine. The 1,300 cc V-twin engine, smooth gearbox and driveshaft mean this is a long distance machine that is equally enjoyable on your favorite roads closer to home when you don’t have as much time to play. With easy to maintain wheels and just the right amount of chrome the paint is what stands out whether it’s parked in your driveway or out on the road turning heads. We don’t think you’ll find a scratch anywhere and we know there are no nicks or dings to bring your attention to.

2012 Yamaha RAIDER, If you or someone you know is into metric cruisers then you will definitely want to check this one out soon. It is about as perfect an example as you can find and it has a very nice array of goodies from the likes of Arlen Ness, Cobra, K&N and Kuryaken as one might want to attach to their own bike if you were starting from scratch – this one is ready to ride and show off right now!With just 3,560 miles one could say that the second owner, whomever that will be, is the person who will be completing the break-in process as it just has not had the opportunity to be ridden enough miles to be fully broken in. Yet. But with the riding season in full swing some lucky (and smart) person will be riding this one soon enough.All services are fully up to date and were performed locally at the Yamaha dealers. We’ve taken it to the next step and closely examined everything during our extensive MSI & PPI which includes a good road test ride to ensure everything operates exactly as the designers and assembly experts at Yamaha planned. It easily passed the Maryland Safety Inspection or MSI portion and everything on the more detailed PPI evaluation sheet came up at a 10 on a 10 scale.

2007 Yamaha 1300 V-STAR, This beautiful cruiser came in on trade towards a new BMW. It arrived in overall very good shape but in need of some service, a tire and a few other small items. We've addressed it all in our usual high standard manner and it is ready to go anywhere and with under 15,000 original miles it's barely broken in. We just changed all the fluids, even the coolant and brake. We added a battery tender lead so we could keep the battery in good shape until it goes to a new home. It was in need of a fresh front tire so we installed one and added Nitrogen to both. While the rear is a little older (34/07 mfg) it's in perfect condition with about 90% of the tread remaining and not replacing it is reflected in the bikes price.We ran it through our critical PPI process including an extended test ride to assure you that it does everything exactly as it should and you'd want it to. It also has a fresh Maryland Safety Inspection (MSI) certificate because it passed effortlessly. It rides like a dream and has just the right accessories to make a short afternoon or morning cruise or an extended tour very enjoyable. It looks near new having been thoroughly detailed but it also arrived looking pretty good -- this machine does not appear to have ever been neglected and probably never spent much time outside unless it was being ridden on a nice clear day.It offers tons of horsepower and torque from the 1,300 cc motor and 5-speed gearbox. It has dual discs up front and a solid single disc in the rear. A beautiful exhaust note comes out of the two into 1 pipe. The windscreen can be quickly removed if it's not your style or just because it's a hot day. The factory leather look saddlebags hold a ton of anything you wish and the passenger seat and backrest will keep a smile on your passengers face at all times. It boasts a super clean set of engine/rider protection bars with highway pegs and a very nice set of driving lamps to allow you clear visibility at night on those dark country roads.

2013 Yamaha YZF R-1, While this is not the only R1 in this immediate area it is without a doubt the cleanest, lowest mileage example around and it’s priced very competitively. We checked around at dealers and private sellers and compared closely, Thi9s is simply the finest slightly used R1 offered. A well cared for one owner machine that now sports new Michelin Power 3 tires (front and rear), a chain clean, lube and adjust plus fresh engine oil and filter. As an added BIG BONUS this one has OEM factory warranty through mid-\ November and the Yamaha YES (Yamaha Extended Service) that runs through October 2018 – added value or peace of mind doesn’t get any better than that. It is even more beautiful and perfect in every possible way in person and up close than these images might convey. The near flawless matte gray paint coupled with the satin black frame and driveline on top of the gloss black wheels with red pin stripes make this machine stand out from the crowd every time. The sweet extras like the carbon fiber style tank protector and gas cap surround add a nice touch of class that is only surpassed by the very fine integrated alloy and carbon fiber mirrors. The alloy frame and bodywork protectors or sliders as they are often called are a smart addition too. And tucking in behind that very dark tint screen adds to the excitement.Aside from those brief facts the R1’s speak for themselves on the road or beyond and truth be told this one was traded in on a new S1000RR but that just leaves someone else with a great opportunity to own a sweet street bike that is fully capable on the track with its 150 HP and roughly 450 pound curb weight. If you are in the market for a new or nearly new sport bike that does not carry the famous BMW logo then regardless of all other 1000 models offered by other manufacturers this is one you’ll regret not checking out before another smart buyer does so.It’s been fully inspected and carries a fresh Maryland State Safety Inspection (MSI) certificate and has been out on an extended test ride by one of our well-heeled and highly experienced Master Techs. We have 2 keys and the owner’s manual to provide to the new owner and will assist in the transfer of the YES program.

2009 Yamaha FZ1, Clean, clean, clean is how we could describe this bike in just three words. It is not brand new and it is not a 100 point machine but it’s close, fully serviced and ready for FUN. It is a standard all stock example of a very enjoyable 1,0000 cc powered all around – do most of what you need it to dependable and good looking motorcycle.It is a one owner machine that has been well cared for since new. It saw a full service last spring but we elected to change the oil and filter again as well as install a fresh set of Michelin Pilot tires with nitrogen, add a battery charger lead, fill the tank, run it through our complete Maryland State Inspection and Pre-Purchase Inspection and take it out on an extended test ride before offering it up to you.It would make a great every day machine and it would also make a great track bike for someone looking to jump into that enjoyable hobby and not buy a S1000RR just yet. Whatever you select to do this bike will please. It has also been slightly lowered so that most anyone can have a solider stance when they come to a stop in traffic or simply more confidence in general. There are plenty of factory and aftermarket accessories available for these machines should you wish to add to it.For now it’s about as clean a turnkey machine you can find for under $6,000 in the greater Mid-Atlantic region and comes with 2 keys, the factory tool set and the owner’s manual.
