Have you enjoyed your motorcycling life thus far? Have you had a few adventures along the way? Did you ever scratch yourself while having that fun? If so then you might be able to relate to this fine mid-weight BMW cruiser. We just wanted to point out at the very beginning that this otherwise beautiful and superbly running machine has a few very minor blemishes. And they really are minor. Our way of having a little fun at, well I guess our own expense.But this bike has a fantastic history and it's all well documented. Plus it started at Bob's as a new delivery back in august of 2005. The original and only owner kept fine records including all those we have on fine as well. We can give you a copy of the log book for your own record keeping going forward while the rest of the actual repair and service orders must remain with the permanent service history on the bike we keep.It last saw a fully all-encompassing service by an authorized BMW dealer in November of 2013 at just under 38,000 miles and then had an oil and filter change plus a new battery at just over 39,000 miles in the spring of 2015. By our high standards we needed to do some of it again along with some other freshening up.

2007 BMW K1200GT, Over the years we’ve found that a true measurement of how well received any given machine is, regardless of brand or model is how soon and how many used ones become available in the years to follow the initial release. A few years ago we saw a slow trickle of K1200GT’s and then it slowed to almost non-existent.

2014 Indian CHIEFTAN, Our first Indian! We feel like virgins. Or maybe it’s not the first Indian at Bob’s since there is a nearly all original 1913 Indian single sitting on a display stand in his office. Really. You should stop by and check it out as well as closely inspecting this perfect and oh so beautiful big V-twin all American motorcycle. One will surely be more fun on the road these days.This is what bringing the Indian name and legend back to the top of the V-twin market looks like. Bob could yammer on about how and why HD ended up on top sales wise after WWII when Indian was clearly the superior machine all along but this conversation is about the new Indian. And this particular Indian specifically.We just took it in trade from a long time customer. He loved the bike but had to whittle down the bikes in his garage and so we took more than one machine in trade towards a very nice, very slightly used BMW he saw on the website and the sales floor that he just had to have. After all, motorcycles are about falling in love with something that makes our hearts beat faster. This one will not disappoint anyone who stops in to inspect it. It will make your heart beat faster after just one ride.

2006 Yamaha ROYAL STAR VENTURE, It’s riding season and this beauty is ready to be ridden – by you! At less than a decade old, with low miles and excellent care since new by the original owner it offers a great opportunity for someone to be riding in style and luxury right now. With just one owner and a complete service history you can’t spend less and get this much anywhere. We think it’s the best value on a big V-twin cruiser to be found in the entire Mid-Atlantic region. Clearly this is Yamaha’s answer to the top of the line, fully decked out Harley-Davidson and they did it well. There is a great fairing with beautiful lines and instrumentation, plenty of carrying capacity in the saddlebags and trunk plus both the rider and co-pilot will be sitting in the lap of serious comfort in this beautiful and comfortable dual saddle; the passenger gets a sweet backrest as well. With front and rear tip-over guards, dual sets of floorboards and PIAA auxiliary lighting to illuminate the roads after dusk this is a serious touring machine. The 1,300 cc V-twin engine, smooth gearbox and driveshaft mean this is a long distance machine that is equally enjoyable on your favorite roads closer to home when you don’t have as much time to play. With easy to maintain wheels and just the right amount of chrome the paint is what stands out whether it’s parked in your driveway or out on the road turning heads. We don’t think you’ll find a scratch anywhere and we know there are no nicks or dings to bring your attention to.

2007 Yamaha 1300 V-STAR, This beautiful cruiser came in on trade towards a new BMW. It arrived in overall very good shape but in need of some service, a tire and a few other small items. We've addressed it all in our usual high standard manner and it is ready to go anywhere and with under 15,000 original miles it's barely broken in. We just changed all the fluids, even the coolant and brake. We added a battery tender lead so we could keep the battery in good shape until it goes to a new home. It was in need of a fresh front tire so we installed one and added Nitrogen to both. While the rear is a little older (34/07 mfg) it's in perfect condition with about 90% of the tread remaining and not replacing it is reflected in the bikes price.We ran it through our critical PPI process including an extended test ride to assure you that it does everything exactly as it should and you'd want it to. It also has a fresh Maryland Safety Inspection (MSI) certificate because it passed effortlessly. It rides like a dream and has just the right accessories to make a short afternoon or morning cruise or an extended tour very enjoyable. It looks near new having been thoroughly detailed but it also arrived looking pretty good -- this machine does not appear to have ever been neglected and probably never spent much time outside unless it was being ridden on a nice clear day.It offers tons of horsepower and torque from the 1,300 cc motor and 5-speed gearbox. It has dual discs up front and a solid single disc in the rear. A beautiful exhaust note comes out of the two into 1 pipe. The windscreen can be quickly removed if it's not your style or just because it's a hot day. The factory leather look saddlebags hold a ton of anything you wish and the passenger seat and backrest will keep a smile on your passengers face at all times. It boasts a super clean set of engine/rider protection bars with highway pegs and a very nice set of driving lamps to allow you clear visibility at night on those dark country roads.

2009 BMW K1200LT, Of all the great colors BMW sprayed the fabulous K1200LT we think that Night Black was the absolute best. That’s just our collective opinion so if Champagne, Canyon Red, Toscana Green or one of a few dozen other fine colors is what you love so be it; no offense is intended. But Night Black makes this bike so perfect. Oops we said it again. Oh well. But you’ve got to admit that the chrome plus the satin finish silver on the wheels, lower body panels, the dash trim, handlebar covers and even the saddlebag handles not to mention the entire drive line looks pretty spectacular against that gloss Night Black paint.And all that looks so darn great because this bike is in pretty much new condition, cosmetically and mechanically. It came to us from the same original owner we sold it to in May of 2010. Every single service this bike ever needed or was in the BMW recommended service schedule was performed at Bob’s. We’ve taken it to the next level for a smart new owner as is expected here at Bob’s and so that it fully qualifies for the ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Program.In addition to the extensive Pre-Purchase and Maryland State Safety Inspection and our own highly critical ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED Inspection process, checked for any outstanding warranty issues and replaced the left side black tip over guard which had a very tiny mark on it, and we really mean tiny but the bike was so perfect in all other ways we just could not leave it on. We’ve also had it out for a lengthy test ride Aside from that we could not find even the most minor scratch or other cosmetic blemish. We’ve had a few exceptionally nice Night Black 2009 K12LT’s over the past few years, even a few with lower miles but this is hands down the best example by far.This is a fully loaded last edition of this machine which had a full ten year run. They come from BMW with ABS, Tele-Lever and Para-Lever suspension, electric center stand, reverse gear, electric tall windscreen, Xenon headlight, central locking, heated grips, heated seats (both), top case luggage rack with extra brake light, soft touch comfort seat, electronic cruise control, anti-theft alarm, vanity light & mirror in trunk, front and rear tip over guards, radio & CD player and the BMW communications system connections. The owner also added one of the more seriously useful items: the BMW Nav $ GPS system and everything that was included when this was added is still in the box for the next owner.

1994 Honda PACIFIC COAST 800, Looking for some inexpensive but solid fun and daily transportation with two wheels? This may just be what you are looking for and while it may not be the sexiest bike ever built there are tons of the original 14,000 still on the road. Honda built them from 1989 to 1998 with a few year gap in the middle. They were dependable, easy to care for and work on and had what may still be the coolest luggage compartment ever designed and incorporated into a stock motorcycle.This one just arrived. It started up easily but as we know it has not been used much in the last few years the fuel is getting old and is just a little sluggish when asked to accelerate hard. The bike appears to do all the things it should like run, shift, stop and handle acceptably. We believe that with a new front tire (it is simply worn out) it would pass the Maryland Safety Inspection but we have not undertaken that process, it is after all a PROJECT BIKE that we are offering up at a great price.And even though it is a PROJECT BIKE, with the little bit of time and attention that is required we think a new owner will be very happy with their investment and besides we almost never have bikes to offer under $3,000 bucks, let alone this close to $2,000. Where else can you buy a bike you could ride across the entire country in good comfort for this little?In doing some comparative research we found quite a number of high mileage examples so these bikes were and are being ridden well into the 100,000 mile range. This one with just over 22,000 miles is one of the lower mileage examples we could find. And as everyone knows Honda builds dependable machines. Even though this one is being sold as a PROJECT BIKEand subject to all those terms and conditions we think all it needs is a complete fluid and filter change, fresh tires (the rear is at about 50% and from 2006), a few general care adjustments and light lubrication on things that open and close and some regular use to put a smile on almost anyone riders face.
