I'm selling this nice 96 GSXR1100. Bike is in surprisingly excellent condition for it's age with the exception of the tear in the seat. The bike will start up and idle great but I cannot get it to accelerate much without dying. The only way I was able to ride it was to leave the choke pulled in and slip the clutch. It does shift through the gears good. Last owner told me the plugs have not been changed in 8 years and he thinks that is the issue along with a needed carb clean. Not sure if there is anything else going on with the engine. You are welcome to come look at the bike in person before buying. I'm also willing to take it to the local Suzuki shop and let them inspect it for you if you foot the bill. The only other issue I found with the bike is that the odometer is stuck at 14k. Tires have less than 1k miles. Bike comes with a clean title, located in Dalton GA. Any questions, please ask. Clean DE title with no lien. Paint is relatively new and shiny but does have some orange peel. No scratches. Tank is free of rust. New battery, plugs, air filter, and front brake pads. Title shows 32K mi. but engine and odometer came from a 1994 with 5,100 mi. Runs and sounds great. Properly jetted for the exhaust. Front fairing is mounted separate from the headlights so can be easily removed. Subframe was custom modified to fit the 2003 GSX-R 750 tail, tail light, and seats. Delivery may be possible for additional fee if coordinated prior to sale, depending on location. Unless delivery terms are agreed to prior to bidding it is local pickup only. I'm willing to hold the bike until paid for for a non-refundable deposit but terms must be coordinated and agreed to prior to sale. Credit cards accepted. As shown and described, we had a 1987 1100 back in the day and couldn't resist the chance to work on one of the last of its kind. Engine dyno'd, see run sheet in attached pictures. Runs great. New Metzelers (rear an extra wide 190), new windscreen, seat cowl, and a mess of decals. Plug for trickle charger conveniently located on right side below seat, plug for a GPS right by the dashboard. New windscreen, fork seals, headlight, battery, turn signals, grips, etc. Paint applied by local bodyshop on parts of fairing and seat cowl. Only put a few hundred miles on it since purchased 2 years ago, but has been a fun project. Note: front fairing secured with two additional bolts visible in the pictures/video and reinforced with race wiring - the native plastic mounts always break, but this now has a permanent solution. I have a 1988 750 with a 1127 motor & 92 body. Was a project that I got from a buddy. Im calling it a project because it needs a few more things to be complete, these include: * Head & tail lights need to be wired or just plugged in (not sure)* Front lower fairing needs some hardware to be complete, including chin spoiler. * Needs air filters, ones that i have are to small. Dont fit the 40mill carbs.(flatslides) Has extra factory parts including: *extra fenders*extra seat and rear cowl*air filters (wrong size) Great bike. Runs strong. Starts right up, idles great. Lots of power. ConditionOriginal paint scheme. Good rubber. Small minor burn in plastic near header. Minor crack upper fairing right side. All in all body in very good shape. WELL HERE IS ANOTHER UNICORN FROM THE OIL COOLED ERA... 1992 SUZUKI GSXR 1100 TIGER STRIPE SURVIVOR WITH ONLY 8400 MILES ON IT I HAVE HAD THE WHEELS REPAINTED AND MOST OF THE PLASTIC CLEARED OVER AND THE BIKE LOOKS LIKE BRAND NEW THERE ARE NO SCRATCHES ON THE LOWERS IT HAS 40MM MIKUNI FLAT SLIDES ON IT AND A YOSHIMURA PIPE.... This GSXR 1100 is one of a kind Black/ Silver, in immaculate condition purchased 10yrs ago Mint condition and since then we had our children 8yrs ago and I have not been able to ride as too busy with the family so there it sits. Is a very fair price for this prized possession classic they are not making any more... It's true condition is excellent. Near perfect. Start 2x a week to keep carb's in balance. It's Ready to Ride! I'd rather keep it, serious inquires only. Similar GSXR's go on ebay for 6500-8500. If your still interested in this very rare gsxr then contact me. In my opinion this is the most beautiful GSXR they ever made. This is a bad-ass classic Suzuki with insane power and fabulous sound and many people think its brand new.
