The tires have about 75% tread left and the brakes are about 60% pad life. This bike will make for a great commuter or first bike. I have bought, refurbished and sold 1st Gen (81-83) Viragos for the last 8 years. I bought this motorcycle for parts a year ago but other priorities have come up and it has been in my storage locker, untouched since then. It has plenty of good parts on it. The starter assembly and flywheel alone are worth my asking price. Everything looks straight and accident-free. It was on a porch for years, but it's a California bike so most parts should clean up nicely. If you can't find $400 worth of parts on this bike, you aren't trying. I included a Best Offer option but don't hurt me too bad. I have to pay $60 to EBay. The bike comes with a bill of sale. It does not come with a title. The back fee to register it in CA is around $600. If you're taking it out of state you may be able to register it, but you need to do your own research.
