For sale is a 1977 Yamaha DT100D. This bike has a clear Ohio title (titled as a motorcycle) and is street legal and ready to ride. It has been recently gone through from front to back including new paint on the engine, exhaust, and many frame brackets. The yellow paint is factory original. There are some chips and scratches in the yellow paint, but it still shines great with no rust. Runs and rides great! Among the parts that have been recently replaced are seat cover, points, condenser, headlight, tail light, horn, turn signals, mirrors, and more. It's a beautiful bike and unfortunately the pictures just don't do it justice. If you're looking for something to take you back nearly 40 years, this bike will do it with just one kick. Asking $1500. Hello Im selling my 1977 Yamaha DT 100 dirt bike. I am selling it as a dirtbike. At one time this was an enduro but I do not have the title for it. This bike is in very nice shape as you can see in the photos. it currently does not run, but I dont think it would take a whole lot to get running and restore. I wanted to restore the bike but I dont have the time. It does have a smaller dent in the top of the tank but overall is in really nice shape. The seat is not torn. its a two stroke but has its own oiler so you do not have to mix the gas. Overall a super project for someone that collects bikes or a nice smaller starter bike for someone. This bike has a clear, clean WA State Title & Plates last tab 2016. Was used for short trips, with two 100 mile road trips and performed excellent. About 95 MPG. in very nice shape, and runs great. I was disabled in 2015, and afraid to ride it on the road because of it's vintage status and chance getting it stolen. This bike came with the rare vintage teardrop gas tank (less than a gallon) which give it the "look". The gas tanks is clean and not rusted. Some very minor paint blemishes, and one minor seat tear, not patched (yet). New OEM tires and tubes installed 2012. Original Yamaha tool kit in bag under seat. This bike never had any major engine or transmission repairs. Some minor clean up, new hoses, battery, and OEM replacement carburetor with fuel shutoff (original carb is supplied with bike) The original rear turn signals are supplied with sale, and it is shown with rubberized turn signals to prevent damage. All electrical and mechanical items function normally (even the horn). The bike has been kept in good maintenance by myself using the best oils. and non-ethanol gas when available. It is easy to start and generally starts first kick. It runs excellent and shifts through all the gears smoothly. Brakes have been kept adjusted. Great throttle response and a healthy sounding motor with only a little under 4000 original miles. This bike is ready to get on , ride, and enjoy. Selling my 78 DT250. It's a great running bike. Starts first kick 98% of the time, warm or cold. The tires have maybe 100 miles on them, new rings, great compression, UNI air filter, new brake and clutch cables, new battery and fork seals, spark arrestor. It's in great mechanical condition and the suspension feels real good. The bike sits tall and it gives it a good feel, like easily controllable, confident feeling. The headlight has been updated to one with an easily replaceable bulb. Everything works at the moment. The gas tank had been lined in the recent past. I tried to show the worst of the paint flaws in the pictures, but there are some less noticeable ones here and there that are not to bad. Just an all around nice vintage rider with a clear title. Up for auction is a Vintage 1971 Yamaha DT1 250 cc Two Stroke Dirt Bike Enduro. The person I bought this from completely disassembled it and cleaned everything. Then went through it mechanically. He also painted many of the parts black (looks great and is done right but is not 100 % professional show quality). I ran a drove the bike very little and it ran great and shifted trough the gears fine and then stored it over the winter. I couldn't get it running this spring though. It backfires and sputters (a simple carb clean, fresh battery, new spark plug and fresh fuel did not do the trick). It comes with a free and clear title in my name.
