Up for sale is my beautifully restored 1975 Moto Guzzi Eldorado Police bike. This is one of the very last Loop Frame bikes ever built - matching frame and engine number VP063062. This thing is absolutely perfect! It is the nicest loop frame in the world. I just finished a complete restoration using the best of everything along with a lot of extra bling. Some highlights include: - 955cc Big Bore Kit, High Performance Cam, Restored Original Friction Siren, and Brand New Reproduction Leather Saddle Bags, all from Moe at Cycle Gardens in Huntington Beach, CA. - The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt by Stormy Cycle in Albertville, MN. This included using Cycle Garden's big bore kit and high performance cam, rebuilding and balancing everything, rebuilding the heads, and inspecting and replacing all seals and gaskets. - All the chrome was stripped, show polished and then triple chrome plated by JR's Custom Plating in North Branch, MN. I chromed a lot of extra details and it all turned out beautiful! - The paint and bodywork was completed by Albertville Auto Body in Albertville, MN. The frame was powder coated before paint. The tins were painted then sent to Cycle Gardens for pin striping and silk screening then returned for clear coat over the striping. The paint job is just beautiful! - The fuel tank was cut apart, blasted, chromed, and then welded back together, painted, and the inside coated. The chrome and paint is just beautiful. Heated Storage and not ridden in rain. Regular service and fluids changed on annual basis. Stunning black with white pinstripe and logos. Matching frame & motor VIN056979. Motor has been bored out to 950cc, runs excellent only 10,400 miles since rebuild. Balanced wheels, double shoe brakes in the front and single shoe brakes in back, fully restored front end, and restored carburetors with cylinder air cleaners, all installed by Cycle Garden in Sept. 2008. Dry motor, no leaks. 2014 upgrades include - New rear shocks (I needed Firmer Rear shocks because of my size and wanting to carry a passenger), New Gilardoni Cylinders, New front and rear brake shoes fully adjusted for great stopping with drum brakes. All electrical works. Has the cycle garden reproduction Eldorado solo seat with a bolt on rear pillion seat. Original restored B&M Friction siren with lever mounted near clutch lever. Custom leather saddle bags, plenty of room for extra riding gear and a few groceries. Black powder coated handlebars. Black ceramic coated exhaust pipes. Polished Police instrument panel. Polished cylinder heads, polished front drum break covers, polished rear wheel drive box, and polished timing cover. Oil Filler Plug, Gear Box Filler Plug, Rear wheel Drive box filler plug are all polished brass. Left Rear pipe has very minor scratches(3 X 0.5 inch) and solo springer police seat has very minor tear on piping wrap not on seat itself(0.25 inch)(See Pictures). It has been serviced regularly by a reputable Moto Guzzi mechanic in Chicago. Heated Storage and not ridden in rain. Very roadworthy and Handles very well. This is a unrestored completely original Eldorado. The paint is in very good condition with all of the original markings intact, pinstripes as well. The exhaust headers and Lafranconi mufflers are new. The solo seat is a Police style and included is the 2 up seat with the original very good condition factory vinyl but with new foam, done by the Seat Guy in Chicago. The clutch is new using the deep spline style. The rack is a Police style made by Greg Bender, everything else is pretty standard and original. The new windshield is mounted using Harpers mounts and works wonderfully. I am currently riding the bike around the U.S. so the mileage will reflect that. I will be riding the bike to Vintage Days at Barber In October from Miami. The bike has been privately owned over the last 20 years and stored in a climate controlled environment. The mileage was around 13,000 when I bought it. I have gotten it rode worthy and have been riding it since. It is really is one of the nicest original Eldorado's I have seen.

Beautiful Moto Guzzi Eldorado for sale. 22,458 miles, may be a little higher by auction close. 400 miles put on the bike since the following service work has been performed: Cylinders stripped of chrome lining and replaced with Nikasil, by Millenium Technologies, in Wisconsin. The original pistons are matched to the cylinders and all new rings direct from Italy installed. Their work is beautiful. New spark plugs, plug wires, throttle cables, choke cables replaced with flip type levers, (originals included), distributor cap, rotor, points and condensers. The tank and the carbs were cleaned. The oil and final drive lube is fresh. The bike has a new Odyssey 925 battery, very powerful. It starts at the touch of the button and runs great. Very nicely balanced bike in the curves. The bike has the stock head pipes mated to Bub mufflers. The mufflers are very desirable and now unobtainable. Their sound is throaty and mellow, not overly loud or harsh. The bike has police model handlebars. I do not have the originals. It has crash bars, and the right crash bar has a small dent. No other damage. I have a brand new, very comfortable aftermarket seat mounted on the bike. The original seat in very good condition is included. The original is shown in the photos. The bike is the original black with white pinstriping. The pinstriping has some cracking but still looks good. I know it's an over used word, but this bike has just the right amount of patina. Included are the original hard bags and bracket, not currently mounted, but that is easy. They match the black with white pinstripe paint. Of course the engine and frame numbers match. All keys are included. The original owner/service manual and tool kit are included, and even the original sales receipt! I am currently running an original 1973 license plate, and a vintage plate registered to the bike is included. Clean and clear Ohio title in my name. Matching numbers 1974 850cc 5sp Moto Guzzi Eldorado front disc brake CHP Police Bike, plus second matching numbers 1974 front disc Eldo for parts or restoration. Bought the Police a few years ago through Cycle Garden, is in nice driver condition. Has some scratches on the left side cover, tank has chipped paint next to the filler cap (see photos). The tank was relined at one point and the liner wrinkled (see photo), but has remained stable. The real deal metal police saddlebags. When I bought it, it had chrome-plated carbs and starter. Installed a set of rebuilt VHBs, starter is still chromed. The plated carbs are included. Modified the bike to deal with the common leaking airbox issue--it now has individual K&N filters with velocity stacks. This setup runs out nice & no air/dust leaks, and doesn't show. The original airbox is included. The bike looks really good and runs very well. Clear title in my name. The second bike is a 1974 matching numbers front disc brake Eldo bought as a parts bike. However it is 99% complete, a very good full resto candidate all on its own. The engine turns over easily with what feels like good compression, carb slides are not stuck, clean bike. It is sold with a Bill of Sale only. Extra parts include an alternator upgrade kit, Deitz Turn Signals (one needs lens), a full stainless steel bolt upgrade kit (a ton of stainless bolts & screws), spare starter (motor good, solenoid contacts need cleaning), correct switches for lights, turn signals, & horn.
