m selling my 1975 Kawasaki KZ400. This bike runs great, and is in great mechanical and aesthetic condition. It's recently been serviced and detailed. When I bought the bike, it was essentially completely original and needed nothing. Since then I've invested into it to modernize it. Some of the work done includes: -New NGK plug caps -New high performance coil -New plugs -New stator -Several new wires, newly soldered -New brake cable -New throttle cable -New battery -Aftermarket on-board charging system -Resurfaced brake rotor -Adjusted valve clearance -All bolts inspected, re-tourqed I've run ethanol free gas through it. The oil is topped off and the brake fluid is new. Compression is good. It's an antique bike, over 40 years old, so there are minor things here and there. There is a dent in the side of the gas tank, and the seat cushion has a tear in it. The starter button doesn't function right now, probably corrosion inside the button, so I use the kick starter. There are great resources online for people who want to work on these bikes themselves. It's primed to be turned into a cafe racer. I'm selling because I would like to buy a car. EDIT - I discovered while riding the bike that the wire going from the stator to the battery is stripped and needs to be replaced. Because of this the stator isn't charging the battery right now. I dropped the price considerably because of this, much more than it would cost to be replaced.
Almost perfect, plus extras. Only 194 miles and still under warranty! Title in hand. Not many of these used 2015 ABS models come up for sale on Cycle Trader. SW-Motech Crash Bars, SW-Motech KOBRA Handguards, Moto Werk 2-inch Lowering Kit, Honda OEM Centerstand, and the official Honda Service Manual. The bike was too tall for the beginner rider while practicing in a parking lot, resulting in the SW-Motech engine guards and handguards being officially tested out. The bike was let down from a stand-still on both the left and right side. The guards did their job perfectly and were the only parts to touch the ground (see photos for the slight scratches...the let-down was so light that they weren't even dented). We had the dealer verify that no other damage besides the scratches occurred when they installed the lowering kit. The Moto Werk 2-inch lowering kit (see photos) now has the seat height at 30 inches (original stock height is 31.8). If you want to return the bike back to its stock height, the original parts are included (these are the two metal triangle links and the stock kickstand). This beautiful bike is practically new as it hasn't even reached its 500 mile break-in period. The bike has always been garaged and has never even seen any water (rain or washes). The new rider that this was intended for has decided it's just too heavy for her even after being lowered and will be getting a 150cc-300cc to learn on after selling this one.

1979 Kawasaki Kz 400, 1979 Kawasaki KZ 400 Bobber. Absolutely nothing wrong with the bike. It needs a back tire(which I have and will give you) and a new front brake master cylinder( have it as well, nothing wrong, just looks dirty to me). Haven't had time to put on. Has less than 100 miles on it after previous owner said he rebuilt. I bought it back in about Feb and have only drove around my neighborhood to keep it running and not just parked. Stored inside. Fun, great running bike. Fresh paint. Had a quarter size dent(dimple) in gas tank. Has a '29 ford taillight. Real head turner. Shelbyville, Kentucky. Must be able to pick up before 4p in order to transfer title. Text is best 502-257-4045 $2,600.00 5022574045
1976 Kawasaki Kz 400, Mint Condition. This bike is up for auction on eBay. Here is link :// /sch/Motorcycles-/6024/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=kz400&_vxp=mtr I have decided to sell my 1976 KZ400, D-3 model. The bike runs perfectly, sounds great, chrome is bright, no rust and looks like new. Definitely collector grade. No issues and 100% clean title. I am basically the 2nd owner. A motorcycle dealer bought if from an estate sell and I purchased from him. Total mileage is 8,603 but I replaced both the tachometer and odometer with new OEM units as the old ones had minor haze. I have them both as well. There is the slightest of a scratch at the far end of the tank by the seat, please see in photos. However, I have a 100% brand new OEM tank and emblems still in the original Kawasaki packaging. I will add to the sale of this bike but for an additional $350 on top of auction price. If you are the winning bidder, be ready to get stopped whenever you ride for pictures, happens every time I take the bike out. I have only used for short trips here in town and would keep but just purchased another bike and that brings it up to 4 in the garage, no room for the car so I need to sell 1 bike. $4,500.00 9493573792

This bike was brought from Pittsburgh, PA. to california in 1983. I never registered it because I didn't want to drive to Long Beach from Tustin. So the low mileage is accurate, 4254, only occational running to keep it functional. Did not drive much in rain or snow. It's all original. Has 35 HP and gets 60 MPG. Six speed trans.
