Selling my CB550 Café Racer. To many bikes and cant ride them all. Runs and rides great with tons of upgrades. Paint is new and it looks good but not perfect. I built this bike 3 years ago and has been my daily rider. Mileage is only at 112 cause of new gauges.Old ones had 32K. Top end was rebuilt 3 years ago. Everything works great on the bike and is the best running bike you will see since Ive been tweaking it for years and it even has a custom exhaust that I made to squeeze all the power out. Title in Hand. NO SHIPPING. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Thanks for looking

Second owner. Only 8300 ORIGINAL MILES. Very "mild cafe". Parts to turn the bike back to factory are included. I bought this bike a couple years ago from a 70+ year old man who bought it brand new in late 1978/early 1979. This is the SOHC Single Over Head Cam. Last year of it I believe. The original owner rode the bike about 300 miles a year, then cleaned it, waxed it, and put it back away at the end of each season. New tires. Newer battery. ORIGINAL SEAT COVER! Those are worth $500 by themselves. This bike even has the factory yellow paint on the bolts from when it was built! I am including everything in the pictures. The only thing that isn't completely original is the exhaust. The original owner changed to this exhaust in the late 70's. I was able to track down 2 or the original 4 exhaust pipes from a local dealer that had some "take offs" from 1978. If you can find the other 2, this bike would be nearly a museum piece. I've never seen a 550K in this good of condition before. I get attention everywhere I go with this bike. A real head turner! Starts and runs fantastic. Battery charges, brakes work great, carbs have been completely rebuilt and balanced. Video of this bike starting and running. Check out how quickly it starts!! https://youtu.be/a1O_sNYA30s

Her name is Blackwing and she's looking for a good home with a collector, enthusiast, or an all-around badass that wants a unique bike. She runs like a dream and sounds amazing. I am selling this custom 1974 Honda CB550. It's truly a one of kind and fun to ride vintage motorcycle with modern influences and tech.It is in excellent condition. When not ridden it has been stored indoors in a garage or in a climate controlled museum. Its never been even close to being damaged or laid down. I commissioned it from Meyerbuilt Metalworks in Indianapolis last year. It's crafted from many hundreds of hours of custom metal work. Over the course of a year they took a perfectly serviceable 1974 Cb550 and did a total take down, restoration and modification build. The only thing unchanged from the original is the motor. The tank, exhaust, rear section, subframe, and swing arm (mono shock conversion) are all handmade. It has some nice features and conveniences like:- LED turn signals - universal smart-phone mount attached to the stem for easy and accessible navi viewing.- Two disk rotors up front, one in the rear.- Kickstart, NOT electric start (saved a few pounds)- Retro-reflective red wheel stripes for extra visibility at night. It was featured in the American Motorcycle Museum in 2013/14. You can see pictures of it on display here: www.motorcyclemuseum.org/Exhibits/BikeCraft2014.aspxThe bike comes with the museum's cardboard display placard.Blackwing was also featured on Bikeexif, a very popular motorcycle blog. www.bikeexif.com/honda-cb550-customI must address the price I am asking and try to manage expectations. It's always a tough call to make with bikes like this. Charge enough to make a profit that's fitting for many months of work and some see it as greedy. Don't charge enough to clear your expenses and bikes like this would never get built. Suffice it to say the price doesn't even reflect what went into the build, much less what the Blue Book says. This bike isn't a weekend $3-5K resto mod weekend project where one might find a $500 donor bike on ebay, tune it up, slap on some paint and bolt-on parts. It's best to consider it more similar to a Walt Siegle bike (http://www.waltsiegl.com/sort/motorcycles/) or a Classified Moto (http://classifiedmoto.com) than most results from a ebay 'cafe racer' search. If, like me, you appreciate fun and reliable japanese bikes with a modern influence and you think this bike is beautiful than its not priced out of the market. If nothing else you are buying exclusivity which you might not care about but some people do. I know I was a little bummed a few years ago when I saw someone pull up at an intersection riding my make/model bike at the time. ***That will literally NEVER happen with this bike.***Its a great everyday rider but its also a collector bike that could be displayed in a home. Up for sales is my 1976 Honda CB550F. I did own 250, 350 before and worry about over 500 may too big and too heavy for me. It was surprise me this Honda CB550F pretty light weight and not too heavy like the 750. It not like the small engine run so hard or over heat when run on the freeway. This CB550F almost everything is stock , excepted some of the upgrade: Before it had electric shortage problem, I spent a lot of moneys for tracing the problem. They found out is the tail light shortage,. Sure they replaced new wire and did a completed diagnostic to make sure all electric is in the right AMP / Voltage without any problem. Meantime, they upgraded the Ricks voltage regulator rectifier, reset timing, turn signal lights, tail light and new battery for me. All carburetors had been cleaned and synchronized Fresh Oil Changed and New Oil Filter New Low Scoop Handlebar, Front and Rear New Tires Original seat had been custom to café style. It run very strong and sound very nice. For a 39 years old bike all chrome are shinny , even the original exhaust muffler no rust. Current registered.Plate till 2016 Condition shown on pictures. Serious buyer only , show me the cash for test ride with your M1 license. Bring your own helmet, too. I am not in hurry to sell, NO LOW BALL or Tire Kicker. I prefer cash in person , no paypal , cashier check kinds of BS. Thanks.

1979 HONDA CB650 - ORIGINAL CONDITION! DESCRIPTION: This 1979 Honda CB650 is in great condition for it's age and appears to be all original and complete! The chrome is in nice shape, the paint is decent for it's age, it has good tires, a strong battery, and a clean title. The bike does start easy and runs but will not idle. It will need a little work to run perfect and is being sold as is. It's rare to find these bikes in this condition, and this one would be perfect for a restoration, custom cafe racer, or a vintage daily driver! FEATURES: Great condition and very clean for it's age!Complete, and appears to be all original! Nice chromeGood tiresGood batteryEverything works except horn and tachometer (believe it just needs a cable)Starts and runs (does not idle, will need a little work)Clean title CONDITION / NOTES: Overall this bike is in great condition for it's age! It appears to be all original although it looks like the speedometer has been changed at some point. The paint is a little faded and there are some scratches/flaking/etc. but for being original it's not too bad. The chrome is real nice with only a few spots of light corrosion/minor pitting. The turn signals have electrical tape holding them tight. The horn and tachometer do not work, looks like the tachometer just needs a cable. Everything else on the bike works including all lights. The bike does shift into gear and the clutch works as it should. The bike does start right up and runs when revving but will not idle. The bike has been sitting for a few years (indoors) so we are assuming it just needs a tune-up and some basic trouble shooting but we can't make any promises as we have not looked into this at all. The only thing we did was put some fresh gas in the tank, so this bike is being sold as-is. And of course the bike has some typical wear and tear. This bike is not mint, but still very nice condition for it's age! Please review all photos closely and feel free to ask any questions. PAYMENT: A non-refundable Paypal deposit of $100.00 is due within 24 hours to hold the bike. The balance is due within 7 days in the form of cash or certified check only. The balance can NOT be paid via Paypal. At this time we do not offer financing. SHIPPING / DELIVERY / PICK-UP: We are located in Collins, New York zip code 14034. This is a 1974 Honda CB550K with a clean title. It has 25288 miles on it and it is in great condition. It is an original survivor and everything works. The exhaust is original and has been patched in a couple spots but the chrome is pretty good. All of the chrome on this bike is in pretty good shape with just some pitting or surface rust here and there but it shines up pretty good. The bike has all the original paint which is faded and has a couple scratches or other blemishes but its really not too bad for being 41 years old. The tank is in good shape and spotless inside. All of the electrical works including the electric start. The carbs have been cleaned out but still need to be fine tuned and floats adjusted, the front brake rebuilt, it has a brand new battery, new right side controls, and new tank rubber. The seat is the original and looks in very good shape. The bike starts up and runs good. It is a good, solid, driver quality bike that is not all hacked up or rusted out. The bike is not 100% original, but it is mostly original. It even comes with its original tool kit. This bike would make an excellent start for a cafe racer or a restoration. Please let me know if you have any questions. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction close. If the deposit is not paid within 24 hours, I will cancel the sale and re-list the bike. Full payment must be made within 3 days. The bike is being sold as is. I will ship the bike world wide at the expense of the buyer. All shipping arrangements are to be made by the buyer after full payment is received and cleared into my account. Pickup is encouraged and I can also deliver within 5 hours of Columbus, Ohio for a fee. Thanks for looking
