1983 Honda Nighthawk CB 550 SC. In 2009 the entire bike was taken apart (except the engine), frame was powder coated, and put back together again replacing anything broken or malfunctioning with original 1983 Honda Nighthawk parts. The bike has around 16,000 miles on it. It starts right up, runs great, shifts great, and everything works. It's a great bike for people upgrading from a 250 or experienced riders who just want something unique (the 1983 CB550 is the only body style of its kind). It has a shaft drive, so there is no lag on the throttle and your chain will never slip. I bought a new battery in March, and the tires have less than 200 miles on them. With minimal effort it can be restored to the original look or provide the base of your own unique cafe racer. It comes with the official Honda shop manual used by professional mechanics, so if you want to make any alterations, you'll know how it all fits together. Also included is an extra side cover with the Nighthawk logo on it. 572.00 ccm (34.90 cubic inches) In-line four Double Overhead Cams 6-speed Air-adjustable front suspension 48 mpg

Selling my beloved Honda cb550. She's a 1974 as you can see... far from original. I bought her in August 2013. This summer I bought a sport bike and I don't really need two lovers. The bike has been regularly serviced by me and Scott + Bob at Moto Classic Garage. Oil and filter changed every 3 months whether the bike was ridden or not. The bike was predominantly used for Sunday rides and spent long spells parked from December 2013 to February 2014, from July 2014 to October 2014, from January to August 2015 and from December to February 2016). Mainly because work kept me away from home. The good parts: Engine is good although there is an oil leak in the head gasket. Semi new tires (about 1000miles on it -- bought them in October 15). New Battery (October) New Rick's Motorsport Rectifier (January) New Rick's Motorsport solenoid (January) New Dyna performance Coils 5OHM and Electronic ignition (I also kept the points). Whole bike was Rewired in August 2015 Changed Forks and Brakes oil in August 2016 Velocity stacks 4 into 1 mac pipes with saw off muffler. Spare work-in-progress tank, under the seat pan, extra cafe racer headlight + original lights. Customized seat. Plenty of other spare parts including still sealed brake pads, different handlebar, 2 sets of different filters and original dials. Taxed until June 2016. Mechanically the bike has been perfect, she is relatively fast, light and zippy. She can be taken all the way to full café racer convertion but I never had the guts to saw off parts of the frame. The bad parts it's 42 years old... so you have to take that into consideration when you buy a motorcycle like that. If you think you can hop on and ride her to San Francisco in one go. . .look at a new bike. This is a real cool bike, a head turner, the real deal not fake/modern cafe racer. The bike has been very reliable, letting me down only twice. She does however have a charging problem that started in August I still haven't fully resolved. The battery doesn't seem to hold full charge so if you buy her please beware that's something you will need to address immediately. Since she was working perfectly before I do believe it must be a wire contact. My English is not perfect but I don't need to flee the country because of Trump and I have a garage. Not in a rush. $3500 cash

Up for sales is my 1976 Honda CB550F. I did own 250, 350 before and worry about over 500 may too big and too heavy for me. It was surprise me this Honda CB550F pretty light weight and not too heavy like the 750. It not like the small engine run so hard or over heat when run on the freeway. This CB550F almost everything is stock , excepted some of the upgrade: Before it had electric shortage problem, I spent a lot of moneys for tracing the problem. They found out is the tail light shortage,. Sure they replaced new wire and did a completed diagnostic to make sure all electric is in the right AMP / Voltage without any problem. Meantime, they upgraded the Ricks voltage regulator rectifier, reset timing, turn signal lights, tail light and new battery for me. All carburetors had been cleaned and synchronized Fresh Oil Changed and New Oil Filter New Low Scoop Handlebar, Front and Rear New Tires Original seat had been custom to café style. It run very strong and sound very nice. For a 39 years old bike all chrome are shinny , even the original exhaust muffler no rust. Current registered.Plate till 2016 Condition shown on pictures. Serious buyer only , show me the cash for test ride with your M1 license. Bring your own helmet, too. I am not in hurry to sell, NO LOW BALL or Tire Kicker. I prefer cash in person , no paypal , cashier check kinds of BS. Thanks.
