This 1976 Suzuki GT750 Cafe Racer project is called "Threesome" due to it's 3 cylinder engine configuration. If you are familiar with this model you will know that when those three cylinders start firing in rapid 2 stroke fashion anywhere above 4500 rpm it will make the hair on your neck stand up and give you goosebumps. The sensation is sublime. This bike has been part of my collection for the past 2.5 years. The Bexton garage recently acquired another GT project bike that will replace this one.The donor bike had 16XXX miles on it and the motor ran strong without any leaks or other issues. Due to this the motor was given a fresh water pump and a fresh coat of black paint. Otherwise it was left alone. I have put another 1500 trouble free miles on it since the build was completed. It has since started to push a bit of oil out the breather when ridden too spiritedly, which indicates that the crank seals are starting to go. I installed a pipe to catch the oil and then drain it back into the engine to contain it. Performance remained unchanged due to this. However it will require a fresh set of crank seals if you plan to ride it cross country. I am pointing this out so as not to catch the new owner by surprise. But if you plan to just ride it occasionally like I do it will probably be good for years to come, just remember to change the oil regularly. The frame was modified to suit the Rickman tail section and seat. The entire frame and every single bracket was also powder coated. Electronics and battery are now housed under the tail. It has also been equipped with updated modern electronic ignition and voltage regulator and rectifier. I added a few gussets in the center triangle to tighten up the frame a little. The front end comes from a Suzuki Hayabusa, complete with forks, wheel and 6 piston caliper brakes. The front fender is from a Ducati Monster. In the rear I built a custom swingarm, using the swingarm and brake from a modern Suzuki 750 Katana as a donor. The Katana swingarm was shortened to retain the original wheelbase and some shock mounts welded on to retain the stock twin shock setup. It now runs on needle bearings instead of the original plastic bushings. I used a Suzuki SV650 rear wheel and also SV650 race rear sets. The fairing is from a Ducati SuperSport. The motor was adorned with a Jethot coated set of Jemco chambers and the carburetors cleaned and re-jetted to suit the chambers and K&N tube filters. The bike is very well sorted and easy to ride, but also a wolf in sheeps clothing, when you hit 5000 rpm you better hang on when that 2 stroke power band kicks in. The rear shock are Chinese knockoffs imitating a famous brand, so do not mistake them for being the real deal. They work as well as their origin suggests under normal riding conditions. This is an old bike design and the kickstand sits under the left chamber not leaving much room before things start touching down so you cannot expect to ride this bike at Grand Prix speeds anyway. The Hayabusa forks work extremely well and so do the brakes. I have a very detailed write up of the build with pictures and some video on my website MyBikeProject where you can see some of my other builds also. The bike was also featured on Silodrome Silodrome If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Local pickup only by your chosen shipper. I will work with the buyer to enable pickup locally. On Aug-11-15 at 07:30:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Video of the bike riding can be seen here: GT750-Riding

International buyers welcome! This is a 1972 GT750J with 12,412 miles. This bike was my rider for the fall months and I’ve put about 200 miles on it. The bike starts, runs, drives, shifts through the gears and stops like it should. It accelerates well and has a nice idle. All of the signals, lights, horn, gauges, warning lights, indicator lights and so forth work. The tires are in good shape. The tank is in very nice shape with no dents. It has light surface rust inside but it hasn’t caused me any problems and I would not coat it. The side covers have no cracks and all of the tabs are intact. The chrome is nice, much better than average and all straight. The pipes are quite nice with no dings, dents, scrapes or road rash. The left outer pipe has one acid stain. All of the cones are in place. The seat has been recovered and it has a tool kit.The following has been done within the last 200 miles.New chain and countershaft sprocketNew plugs, points, condensersAll new fluidsNew air filterCarbs cleaned and new float needles and seats installedRebuilt fuel petcockNew fork sealsNew sealed batteryNew coolant hosesThe bike has a clear, open title (Transferable Registration) in my name. Please send me a note if you have any specific questions and I will get back to you as quickly as possible. International buyers will need to coordinate shipping, but I will assist any way I can.Frame Number GT750-23223Engine Number GT750-23637Build Date 3/72

1976 Suzuki GT750 (Le Mans/Water Buffalo). 7,500 original miles, runs great, original paint in great condition. Brand new battery, newer tires, replaced spark plugs and fuel filter, everything else is original. Running engine and all gear shifting is smooth (5 speed). Two VINs (back then it was common to have separate VIN for engine and frame) which is shown on the title.I bought this bike from the original owner years ago. He had only put 400 miles on it and left it sitting in his shed for 30 years. I got the bike cleaned and fixed up and carbs cleaned out and it runs like a dream. Only need the choke for 20-30 seconds to have it running smoothly upon cold start. Stored and drained in the winters. Chrome pipes are in good shape, with a small amount of peeling on the inside. Tach and speedo do accumulate moisture underneath glass occasionally. Speedo also needs to be recalibrated because over 35-40mph it can get jumpy and inaccurate. The side covers paint and gas tank paint is also in great condition, with only a small scrape on the gas tank (picture included). Front and rear brakes, electric start, horn, turn signals, headlights, brake lights, high beam/turn signal/neutral indicators, and digital gear reading all work perfect.Included is an extra aftermarket touring seat (with a small rip on the back), a backrest for the passenger (also, small rip on top of padding), and a luggage rack to mount over the rear tire. This is the only bike I've ever owned and have had it for 10 years and have loved it like a child. I’m sad to see it go because it has been so reliable and the value keeps going up, but I don’t have room to store it and I find little time to ride anymore. This bike is not mint, but it is hard to find a 40 year old bike that is. This bike is in great shape for its age, and has been taken care of and not driven hard. If you want any specific pictures of different parts of the bike or have any questions, feel free to contact me. Available for pickup in Chippewa Falls, WI or buyer can pay any shipping fees.

I just came across a large collection of motorcycles - I will be listing several on ebay. These all came from 1 very strange owner. With that being said: For sale: A 1972 GT750. First things first, I am putting many full sized pictures of the bike up scroll down to see them. I would call the condition of this bike very good, I list the defects I see with it: the chrome on fromt fender, pipes and headlight ring are pitted, the rims rear fender signals etc... are very decent. The paint on tank must have had something spill on it as it discolored the top a bit, I would say the paint has been re-cleared. Over the seat has a repair (stiched together seam). The bike runs perfectly, hooked a jumper battery and away it went - idles perfectly, winds up perfectly. All gauges and lights look to be working also pretty original bike - look at the pics there are a ton of them, the bike was covered in oil, I wiped most of it off but will need to be cleaned the rest of the way . 1972 Suzuki GT 750 LeMans Water Buffalo You are bidding to buy my 1972 Suzuki GT750 LeMans. VIN: GT750-28802 Manufacture Date: 5/72 This bike is a true vintage time capsule. It still has the period sissy bar, luggage rack and the all important King/Qeen seat for the 2 of you to ride and cruise in luxury back in the day!! When I purchased this bike the owner said it ran great and he had parked it a few years ago due to health issues. I put a battery in it and she started right up and runs!! It shifts through the gears and brakes. The bike needs a restoration. I am not going to kid you. But, it is pretty much all there minus the headlight bulb and correct seat and bars. The side covers are perfect with no cracks. The tank has a dent in it as pictured. The exhaust mufflers are very nice as you can see and they still have the tips in the ends which is very rare and hard to find. The tires are newer and look very good. These bikes are a 3 cylinder, liquid cooled, 2 stroke. The engine was actually taken right from the Suzuki factory road racers and modified to suit the street use purpose. These bikes are pretty fast. I rode my last GT750 on a 2000 mile road trip in 1993 and never had a problem with it. I did have a title to this bike from the previous owner. I moved a few months ago and now I am having a problem finding titles that I had to my bikes. If I find it, you get it. If not, I will give you a Bill of Sale Notorized. Remember, all 50 states do have a program for getting a title to a bike. You can also get a Registration from Vermont and that will serve to get you a new title in all 50 states. 1974 Suzuki GT 750 LeMans Water Buffalo You are bidding to buy my 1974 Suzuki GT750 LeMans. VIN: GT750-45410 Manufacture Date: 2/74 This bike is a true vintage time capsule. The engine kicks over with very good compression. I found between 130 and 140 with my tester. This bike obviously needs a seat cover and needs the tank painted due to rust. I have not tried to start the bike up, I just did a static check. It shifts through the gears too. The exhaust is very solid, all 4 baffles are in place, no holes and only some surface rust underneath as shown in the pics. It had a fairing on it so there is some rust on the chrome as pictured. As of today, I can't find the title but the bike does have a clear title. If I cannot find it, I will give the buyer a notarized bill of sale which can be used to get a title in all 50 states.
