I'm selling my 2002 Ducati Monster 750 Dark. I owned the bike since March of 2010. It has a clean California title and I have the red keys. When I purchased the bike, it had 12,500 miles. I put less 800 miles and then I had to replace the complete instrument panel due to a water leak. The new panel now shows 4340 miles, so the bike has a total of about 17k miles. The bike is stock except for the carbon fiber exhaust pipes that came with the bike when I bought it.I always serviced the bike at Munroe Motors, and I have all my service/repair records. Here are some services that I've done:-11/2010: 12K service (fuel filter, valve adjustment), replaced rear brake pads-2/2011: replaced instrument panel-11/2012: new front and rear tires, chain service, replaced rear caliper-11/2012: replaced rear caliper-2/2016: annual service (oil change, new oil filter, chain service)-3/2016: new batteryThe bike has the "classic" Ducati Monster tank dents due to being tipped over. I bought the bike with dents on both sides. I haven't crashed the bike but it did tip over once while parked on my driveway.I'm not in a rush to sell, so no low-ball offers.

Liquid cooling means it maintains temperature and performance. Count on smooth response to the progressive throttle when you call on the Harley-Davidson® Street 750 motorcycle to get you through any hole that opens up in front of you. But we didn t just build this engine to get you from here to there. This is a Harley-Davidson® engine. We built it to satisfy.

Own a classic with many upgrades! I am selling my Monster S2R 800 Dark edition. $4000 OR BEST OFFER. This bike has been a real joy, but I have decided to move on to something different and can't keep two bikes. A little about this bike: The "Dark" model was a model that included gloss black rims, matte black finish, and no front fairing. This bike was considered Ducati's effort to target both returning riders and newer riders with a single-side swing-arm bike that had slightly higher specs, but wasn't quite the S4. It has great torque and it's a fast city bike because of the gearing, torque and very light weight. It's super easy to handle, and has a linear power curve which is great for newer or smaller riders. A recent Dyno reading showed the bike is still right at factory horsepower levels, and the air/fuel mixture is great. This was one of the later air-cooled 2-valve per cylinder 803cc engines, which has the APTC wet-clutch. In my opinion, one of the best air-cooled Ducati engines ever made, and very reliable. The valves are belt-driven. It's easy to work on and do most maintenance yourself. These bikes are holding their value and are highly desirable, especially as Cafe projects. The bike has approximately 34,000 miles on it.-Brand new stock battery-Less than 500 miles on chain-Rear brake pads just changed-Dunlop Q2 tires on front and rear, average wear.-New front and rear sprockets (stock teeth)-New fuel pump & assembly ($800+)-Ohlins rear shock with adjustable damper and preload ($1000+)-Arrow carbon fiber slip-on exhaust ($800+)-Speedy Moto triple tree ($300)-Custom Ducati etched "coffin covers" -Custom LED front turn signals-Custom bar-end mirrors-Tail-chop kit with integrated turn signals- Cannister delete- Hypermotard oil cooler lines (looks way better than stock)- Belt covers and front sprocket cover are plasti-dipped black- Gold anodized frame plugs, tire fill caps, and oil fill cap*I have the stock bars, mirrors, and tail assembly, as well as red and black key, with master code.=============================================The Bad:=============================================- Minor scratches on both the tank and rear seat cowl. These are covered with touch-up paint.- An engine coating that the previous owner put on the bike didn't set properly before a ride, so a small portion of the block has some small sand particles stuck on it.- Has some tank expansion issues from the heat and moisture. This is not a serious problem, but the tank has a slightly too-tight fit on the frame and has some difficulty locking down on the clamp. - I think it's probably due for a valve adjustment/service. The bike still rides amazing and the engine is perfect, but the valve adjustment should probably be done pretty soon.- The valve belts are in excellent condition but should probably be replaced pretty soon just due to age.Full bike specs: :// .motorcyclespecs.co.za/model
