This a beautiful bike with approximately 3100 original miles on it (it changes each time I ride it).  I've put less than 300 miles on the bike since I've owned it.  I'm selling it because I'm getting older and just don't ride much anymore.  It's such a gorgeous bike that I thought about just parking it in our living room to look at, but figured that someoine might actually want to ride it and show it off.  I inherited the bike from my father who passed away 20 years ago.  He bought it from an old bachelor who kept it in his barn in the desert in California, who had too many toys and rarely rode the bike.  I left the bike for a year (2014-2015) with a friend who is a retired motorcycle mechanic outside of Chicago, who performed the following restorations on the bike:Replaced the front fork tubes and seals (fork oil)Installed tapered roller steering head bearingsReplaced tires, inner tubes and rim strips, disassemble brake panels, lube brake cams, clean brake drumsCompression test: 155-160 both cylindersReplaced spark plugs, points and condensers, set the ignition timing and valve lashDisassemble and clean/adjust carbs (set float level, sync throttle and choke cables, idle speed and idle mixture)Adjust and lube drive chainlube and adjust all cablesReplaced battery, check rectifier resistances and Zener diode, check charging rate and alternator output (positive charge rate with all lighting energized)Adjust primary chain, replace primary cover gasket.Change transmission fluid, primary case fluid and engine oil, clean oil strainer, verify oil circulation (tank return, rocker box banjos).Flushed out gas tank

Purchased from original owner. I've never rode it. Bike was bought new in London England, British Green was applied the next day, "in a paint shop down the street." He didn't like the original color. It was used to travel around Europe, shipped to the states in '72, garaged, covered and never started again. 14,458 original miles. Original engine. Original everything. Another project I'll never get to.Bike does not start. Kick start doesn't engage, and the shifter doesn't engage either. You're buying a low mileage all original classic project. It's all there. Every piece. I have the original engine manual, operator manual, and Triumph note paper and envelopes they gave you when you bought a new one.I have a few more pics (engine and frame stamps, carb close up, etc.) Serial# XD36209 (yes, they match).Original owner has applied for a lost (clean) title, that should arrive in a week-10 days. (he's 88, he mis-placed it, give him a break).email questions to Don, If it's not gone in a week it'll be cross posted on ebay, etc.Rare opportunity here guys, not many around like this survivor anymore. Helluva fun project for someone younger than me.

2007 Triumph Speedmaster, 2007 Triumph Speedmaster in Mint Condition with Bub Exhaust, Saddlebags and Windshield! New rear tire, Call or Email! - Dark, brooding lines and a pared-down hot-rod essence make the Speedmaster a standout middleweight cruiser from every angle. The heart and soul of any motorcycle is its engine, and the Speedmaster?s 865 cc, DOHC, eight-valve, air-cooled parallel twin-cylinder engine uses a 270-degree crank firing interval, giving a throbbing beat and smooth, torque-laden power delivery. Both cylinders vent through a pair of deep-chromed slash-cut silencers while the satin black engine finish adds a crisp, understated edge to the handsome lines of what is a very distinctive and evocative power plant. The riding position supports and "cups" the rider into the gunslinger seat ready to launch at the horizon. Upper fork shrouds add even more style, while high risers mount the flat "drag" handlebars on the slab-style top yoke and match the chromed forward set footpegs. The Speedmaster wears a pair of cast wheels, with a crisp look all of their own; the 18-inch front wears a 110/80 tire, the 15-inch rear a 170/80. The twin shocks and wide-style telescopic forks straighten the curves and iron out the bumps, giving a planted and supple ride. Twin 310 mm front discs ? gripped by twin-piston calipers ? haul the Speedmaster up extremely hard. If the Speedmaster?s bare bones want a little more flesh on them, the ever-expanding Triumph accessory range features an array of bolt-ons specifically designed to lend even more appeal and individuality. With its punchy engine, mean looks and souped-up chassis the Speedmaster is the very essence of an old-school street rod, packing performance and style into one very individual motorcycle. Why not go along to your Triumph dealer for a test ride?

Standard ABS. Classic streetfighter looks. Are you 'bad' enough for the Rocket III Roadster?
