title status: clean transmission: manual •safety tips •prohibited items •product recalls •avoiding scams I have a very clean custom CX500 cafe racer for sale. Bought this bike 2 years ago for $4000. I've put in $900 to rebuild the carburetors, clean rust out of gas tank and a new battery. I just changed the oil a few weeks ago. Super fun to ride and definitely turns heads. There's nothing like it out on the road. I've put less than 50 miles on it since I bought it. I will consider all reasonable offers and I will consider trades for 4X4 truck as well.

1980 Honda cx500 D Deluxe café racer The engine was rebuilt two years ago I did winterize and it has not been ridden since. The fork seals need to be replaced, it needs a new clutch. The bike starts right up and runs great. The tires are brand new, new battery. It is a project bike that is 90% completed I just don't have time to finish it. It is a good bike to get around town it is a head turner at night when the lights under the tank and the seat are turned on lighting up the hand polished aluminum valve covers and carburetors.

1978 Honda Cx 500, This is a 1978 Honda CX500 that has been converted to a cafe racer. The CX is one of the most coveted platforms in which to create a cafe racer. A cafe racer is one of the most unique kind of bikes on the road. The bike has just over 14,000 original miles. It is in amazing condition. It has been completely taken apart and rebuilt from the frame up. The frame was sand blasted and painted. The engine and every other part has been cleaned, buffed or replaced as needed. It has a brand new Ignitech CDI box, rebuilt carbs jetted for opened air and exhaust, new air filters, new Shorai lithium iron battery that has been moved to the bottom of the motorcycle. New speedometer and tachometer. All wiring has been redone and brand new tips and connectors throughout. New headlight and turn signals. Custom made tobacco brown seat. Forks have been rebuilt. New steering stem bearings, new front axle bearings, completely serviced shaft and final drive. Even the manufacturer suggested shaft lubrication was used; molybdenum disulfide. This bike has been indoors since being worked on and is completely clean. The only things that need to be done to be ready for the road is the exhaust, mounting the tail light and CDI and rectifier, and simply bolting on the headlight..which I can do for you if you'd like. 100% Custom Build 1980 Honda CX500 Cafe Racer. The bike is a full frame - off 12 month restoration with no expenses spared. This bike can be easily used for everyday riding. It is light, nimble and unbelievably fun to ride. Breathtaking - this is the most common response you hear from people seeing this build in our showroom. This bike is perfect from top to bottom. Everything on this bike was taken apart, restored or replaced. It was professional build over a 12 month period. To give this bike its unique look the tank was hand - painted by an artist over a three month period. It now has the artists signature pattern and styling that adds a new element to the bike and will never again be re - created. This build is a blend between modern performance, and vintage styling. The frame was first shortened and butted, and had all of the unnecessary tabs and brackets removed before it was sent to powder coat in a layer of classic gloss black. The wheels were also powder coated, but in a semi-gloss to give multiple layers of black tones on the bike. The wheels were then wrapped in Firestone rubber, to give it the vintage look it needed to compliment all of the other modern components. Each bend in the exhaust is created by pie - cut 1.75¿ stainless steel, and TIG welded for a raw, elemental look.
