Bike was professionally restored by previous owner including engine rebuild and taking it down to frame for paint (picture documentation available). The bike runs strong and looks great; it gets lots of looks and interest. The bike is a blast to ride and starts right up. It has electric start as well as a kick start which is fun.

This is my Vintage 1989 Honda CB-1, also known as the NC27 and CB400F. These collectable bikes were only sold in the US for two years, 1989-1990. They were powered by the Japanese market CBR400RR engine- a liquid cooled, DOHC, 4-cylinder that revs to 13,500 rpm. It's also a 6 speed! This naked-sport rips putting down about 45 rear-wheel horsepower and is much faster than a Ninja 300, CBR300RR, and a YZF-R3. Take on 600cc super sports at stoplights- you'll love it! The ergos are similar to a cafe racer right out of the box as well. These things are wicked, but don't take my word for it: __________________________________________________________________________________ "The CB-1's smile-per-mile quotient is right up there with the best of them, thanks to its taught suspension, a riding position comfortable for all but the tallest riders, and an incredible little engine that just begs the rider to turn the throttle." - Cycle World - July '90 "Lightning quick steering and low-slung weight mean the CB-1 can be tossed into a bend like it's your last. A slight push through the pegs and it'll tighten its line further." - Performance Bikes - June '99 __________________________________________________________________________________ This bike underwent a full safety check and tune up by a pro shop and is ready to ride. Clean title, first $3000 cash gets it. *I have a video of the bike running if you'd like to hear it as well*

Well restored cb400f - amazing bike. Has been worked on by Charlie's Place - one of the leading mechanics in north america for vintage Hondas. Moving so I can't take her with me. See photos for repair work and routine maintenance. Rides like a dream, Turns heads. Sad to see her go. ** Note - the tank is a 350 tank and the engine is a 400. ** Tons of new parts, new tires.

This is a very nice 1975 CB400F Supersport motorcycle. This bike is in great condition, it has new tires and battery, both wheels were recently respoked and the engine was stripped and re-coated due to gas leakage discoloring the paint. Original seat and body paint, there's a very small dent on the right side of the gas tank, not very noticeable. No accidents, just over 10,000 original miles. It runs and rides like new.

I am the second owner of this motorcycle and have owned it for 30 years. It was refreshed 20 years ago and then made an appearance in Cycle World magazine in August of 1998. It was awarded 3rd place in the Classic Japanese Concours. (Bested only by a sand-cast KO, and a CB400f which was riding a wave of popularity at the time.) However, this is not a show bike and never was. It is the motorcycle I wanted in college but couldn't afford. 15 years after its debut, I bought this one at a yard sale and have treated it like a motorcycle - not a prop in a man-cave. Like all my motorcycles, it has been ridden fast and far. And, like all my motorcycles, it receives excellent care and maintenance. As pictured here, it is currently wearing a set of Lester cast wheels with Metzler Lazers for performance. The original factory wheels are included and are wearing IRCs with an OEM tread pattern. Also included, is a more recently acquired set of correct OEM Dunlop tires: K87 Gold Seal rear tire (new) and the extremely rare F6 front (very light wear). All the original parts that have been replaced, have been kept and are included in the sale. Due to photo limitations, not all has been shown. Included are 3 seats, full Vetter and Shoei touring package, Tracy 1/4 fairing with smoke windshield and a Japanese market 4-into-1 exhaust that has never been mounted. The bike is wearing replacement body work, purchased from Kawasaki in the late 1980's. The original body work (small badge tank) is included and is in factory finish, fair condition. Also, a Lockhart oil cooler with all fittings, case guards, luggage rack, chain, additional rear wheel with brake and axle assembly. The original switch-gear and wiring harness have been replaced with an aftermarket product for reliability. The original switches are in good cosmetic condition, but the wiring has become brittle and prone to cracks and shorts. Good for display, not so good for use. The only other mods are unseen: needle bearings in the swing arm and tapered rollers in the steering head. I am not interested in splitting this package, it all goes as one. Factory shop manual and owner's manual are included. Clear Missouri title plus the original title issued in Iowa in 1973. If you know these bikes, you know what to look for and I'm to glad to answer questions by phone or email and send additional requested pics. Terms of sale are simple: cash/cashier's check, in person, no shipping and no demo rides. May consider partial trade for Japanese adventure bike or sport-tourer. 1976 Honda Cb , A CLASSIC !! 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport. Very good condition retro custom. Air-cooled in-line 4 cylinder. New rear shocks, new fork seals, seat re-upholstered, original exhaust pipes properly re-chromed. Some engine covers removed and powder-coated. Chrome chain guard included. 14,000 miles. Purrs like a kitten. Clear Ohio title. It comes with plenty of stares and positive comments. Put the key in and go !! The first time I saw a 1976 Honda CB400F Super Sport I was amazed at its European look and styling but surprised to see Honda stamped on the seat. The 4 into 1 compound curving exhaust was genius. Never owned one until I saw and purchased this one at the Mid-Ohio vintage motorcycle weekend in 2003. It was already in pretty good condition and had just over 11,000 on it. It has been garaged but as you can see I put 3,000 miles on it because it is fun to ride. But I have also had 2 or 3 other motorcycles at a time, so I decided to put the above mentioned work into it. After the work I have only ridden it a few times a year until 2 years ago when I rode it only 2 or 3 times and this last year only once. I have a newer bike that I like and prefer to ride, so it's time to let this one go.There is some slight surface rust on the rims and fenders. There is a small ding in the front fender. The gas tank has some surface scratches. The original handlebars (bent) were replaced with aftermarket bars and the wiring that would normally travel through the original bars was bundled, wrapped and run outside to the proper controls. The foot brake pedal is also bent, which was that way when I purchase it but didn't replace it. My guess is that it had been dropped but not wrecked. The ride it true and it doesn't drift. The engine weeps some oil from the head. I have read where others have completely rebuilt this type of engine to try to remedy the weeping but have never been able to cure it of its condition. I know others who have owned '76 Honda CB400F Super Sports and they too have mentioned this condition. The aftermarket rear shocks are about 1/4 inch larger in diameter then the original shocks, so I have left the chain guard off. Have debated with myself as to whether to have the guard cut out to fit around the shocks or not. Will let the next purchaser make that decision. $4,000.00
