I am moving and have too many bikes. This Racer is an absolute blast to ride. It was built by a friend who is a professional vintage motorcycle mechanic, metal worker specializing in hand formed aluminum parts, and motorcycle lover. I paid $7,500 before some more additions, reserve is ridiculously low This bike started with the motor, which was entirely rebuilt around a big bore ~460cc, and yoshimura racing cam.All wear items including bearings and gaskets, hardware, are new. Pingle petcock and electric ignition were added later to keep up with the racing cam. All in all, 100lbs have been shed from the bike's stock weight. It sits on brand new 17" aluminum rims with Buchanan SS spokes, and avon tires. Tarozzi Rear sets, aluminum café seat, leather upholstery are some of the other accoutrements. This 400f is kick only, but the starter motor remains if you would like to add the required wiring. It is a small, light, and captivating bike that everyone wants to talk about, but I am trying to pare down, and would like to see this one go to the right home. The bike will come with a Napoleon Mirror, and axle mounted license plate holder. There are no turn signals, or speedometer, just brake light, headlight, tachometer, and lots of fun between. This is my Vintage 1989 Honda CB-1, also known as the NC27 and CB400F. These collectable bikes were only sold in the US for two years, 1989-1990. They were powered by the Japanese market CBR400RR engine- a liquid cooled, DOHC, 4-cylinder that revs to 13,500 rpm. It's also a 6 speed! Beautiful 1975 (Mfg 12/74) Honda CB400F Super Sport, Four cylinder 400cc motorcycle has 10,656 miles and runs like a dream. No aftermarket items on it except the sport mirror and the rare chrome speedometer and tachometer covers. New battery. New tires. New chain and sprocket. Ready to go. Seat is new old stock original (not aftermarket). Sensual 4 into 1 exhaust is in beautiful condition with muffler looking almost new. Starts hot or cold with one kick or just as easily with the electric starter. Chrome is in excellent condition (not show quality but super nice). Stock right down to the air box. Paint on tank is very good but does show some age. Side covers were new old stock. Has a clear New Hampshire title. Please feel free to contact me thru eBay with any questions you may have. Almost perfect, plus extras. Only 194 miles and still under warranty! Title in hand. Not many of these used 2015 ABS models come up for sale on Cycle Trader. SW-Motech Crash Bars, SW-Motech KOBRA Handguards, Moto Werk 2-inch Lowering Kit, Honda OEM Centerstand, and the official Honda Service Manual. The bike was too tall for the beginner rider while practicing in a parking lot, resulting in the SW-Motech engine guards and handguards being officially tested out. The bike was let down from a stand-still on both the left and right side. The guards did their job perfectly and were the only parts to touch the ground (see photos for the slight scratches...the let-down was so light that they weren't even dented). We had the dealer verify that no other damage besides the scratches occurred when they installed the lowering kit. The Moto Werk 2-inch lowering kit (see photos) now has the seat height at 30 inches (original stock height is 31.8). If you want to return the bike back to its stock height, the original parts are included (these are the two metal triangle links and the stock kickstand). This beautiful bike is practically new as it hasn't even reached its 500 mile break-in period. The bike has always been garaged and has never even seen any water (rain or washes). The new rider that this was intended for has decided it's just too heavy for her even after being lowered and will be getting a 150cc-300cc to learn on after selling this one.
