This is an extremely rare Bridgestone 175 Dual Twin. I believe it is a 1968 because it has the oil injection system, but I don't guarantee the year. It is a project bike and is being sold for parts or repair. This bike would make a great restoration project. There is no title and bike will be sold with a "Bill of Sale". Bike only comes with the items that are pictured. It is missing a muffler and a side cover, and there may be more missing also. Engine is seized. Please look at pics carefully because what you see is what you get. There is no shipping available through me on this bike. Buyer is responsible for local pick up. Check with U Ship. Please email with questions before you bid.

Bridgestone 1966 DT175 Twin cylinder, automatic oil injection, twin carbs, dual transmissions, dual rotary valve engine. Manufactured in the 60's by BRIDGESTONE TIRE CO. As the legend is told, with the success of Honda in the American market, Bridgestone Tire Co. decided to enter the motorcycle craze by manufacturing a twin cylinder, two stroke that was a very innovative bike for its' time! Twin cylinder, twin carbs, (totally enclosed) twin transmission, a 4 speed for city and 5 speed for hwy. automatic oil injection, no more mixing. After 5-6 years, so told, Honda, Yamaha, and Kaw. went to Bridgestone and said " we are buying all our bike tires from you, now do we need to build our own tire plant or do you want to be in the motorcycle or tire business!" So Bridgestone phased out the motorcycle production, The bikes were built in their tire plants and they had never developed the dealerships like Honda. They were innovative bikes for their time, chrome cylinders, more chrome on the bikes, can be started in gear, etc. This is a early 1966 DT175 model that was found in storage since 79' or 80'. The 175 was equal to the Honda 350 in power and take off! The bike is quick! It is an all original bike as found with the following exceptions, I cleaned it up, installed new battery, plugs, changed the fluids etc. and got it to running. Tires are old and need replaced! I replaced the seat cover, the foam, padding and underlining cover were in excellent shape. I have had bike at 70+ MPH and it gets up quick! but with old tires and an old man....well they don't mix. Lights work HI/LOW, excellent brakes, taillight, brake lights, horn and is a great handling bike! THE BAD: (1) I am not a two-stroke guy, so my abilities are limited! (2) The bike does smoke on the right side (its' 2 stroke) and blow a little oil out the right pipe. From research on excellent site for these bikes, "Richard's Relics -Bridgestone" the old school guys tell me that it is the rotary seal that is letting oil by-pass from the crank case, an easy fix so they say. I will include a new seal for the buyer. I will include a copy of a 1966 DT175 owners manual, a Bridgestone service manual, a parts manual, parts catalog manual, various service letters, Clymer service manual for the DT 175. Sold on a BILL OF SALE w/original title still in original owners name. Shipping is on the buyer but I will assist your shipper. NO WARRANTY implied, expressed, consented orally, verbally or shape form or fashion, sold AS IS, WHERE IS! Full payment by cash, certified funds, money order, etc. before bike leaves my possession. PayPal for deposit and full payment IF BUYER pays the additional PayPal fees

Here is your chance at a nice, clean, unmolested, original and rare vintage Japanese motorcycle. It is in exceptional running and riding condition, and everything works as it should, right down to the smallest items like the neutral light and high beam indicator. This is the early style bike with the oil tank under the gas tank. It has recently been fully serviced, including new fork seals, new crank seals, rebuilt carbs, new fuel and oil lines, and several new cables. The bike of course has some patina, as it is 48 years old, but still presents very well. It is nice enough that in my opinion it should never be restored but kept in its original condition. The speedometer shows 8275 miles. I have no way to verify that, but in examining, working on, and riding the bike, in my opinion it is very likely correct. IMPORTANT: This bike does not have a title and is being sold with a bill of sale only. Ebay does not offer a selection for this, but be aware the box that says salvage title is not accurate! The few problems are as follows: The petcock does not shut off completely, and as a result will flood the carbs if left sitting for any length of time. The seat cover has some splits. I have purchased a new seat cover, but not installed it, and it will be included with the sale. There is a dent on the right side of the gas tank, and on the left muffler. Tires have decent tread, but some weather checking on the sides. Also included with the bike is a service manual, parts manual, and original sales brochure. I also have some small misc. extra parts that will go with it, but do not have the time to sort through them for a description right now. This bike is sold with a 100% guarantee at the time of pickup. If you are not happy with the bike for any reason, your money will be refunded in full including the deposit. That said, once the bike leaves my premises there is no warranty--it is, after all, 48 years old. Deposit via Paypal please, and balance due by other means. For any further questions, call John at (928)600-4871.

MPORTANT INFORMATION, PLEASE READ ALL: Remember, your winning bid is a contract to buy, not to show up, kick the tires and then decide you've changed your mind, or to receive the bike and then proceed to try to find fault with it. I apologize if this sounds harsh but we all know these types of bidders do exist so please don't bid unless you are serious about owning this motorcycle. Please ask any questions you like before bidding. You will be answered quickly and honestly. I have disclosed all known defects. I cannot disclose something I do not know. You are welcome and encouraged to personally inspect the bike prior to bidding. Although this bike is sold “as is” and "without warranty", I want you to be happy and therefore I encourage you to ask a question and not just assume something. Do not buy vintage motorcycles if you are expecting a new one. That would require a time machine. These bikes are not new and you should not expect a 40 year old motorcycle to be new because they are not. Also, please make sure you read the eBay protection plan as it does not cover vehicles older than 9 years so do not expect any kind of a warranty on the bike. Thank you and good luck! PAY PAL ONLY FOR PAYMENT!!! MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE PAY PAL ACCOUNT TO BID. 1972 Kawasaki F7 175 2 stroke Enduro. This bike has been in my family since it was new. It only has 605 miles on it. These are the actual miles. The bikes starts, drives, runs and rides great!! We only rode it around the property and short jaunts to town. Never been laid down and never been abused. Yes, the odometer is correct and the speedometer and trip meter both work. The engine idles great, always starts on the first kick. The tires are the original Bridgestone tires that were on the bike when we bought it.. The pictures were taken on July 23, 2015. The bike is as pictured. The gas tank is very clean inside, no rust. The oil injection system works great and the oil tank is full with correct oil injection oil by Amsol. Always took good care of the bike and kept her in the garage at the farmhouse. Thanks for your interest. PAY PAL ONLY FOR PAYMENT. DEPOSIT DUE WHEN THE AUCTION ENDS. BALANCE DUE IN 24 HOURS AFTER THAT PLEASE. CALL ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS: TOM 517-403-2679 THANKS.
