This is a beautiful bike, and in such great shape that you'll be amazed. Paint is in amazing shape (except for small scrape on rear fender where seat hinge scrapes it...I had to really look to find it though). There are a few of the usual chips in the expected places. Seat is new and new taillight because previous owner broke it before sale (I replaced the housing, but paint does not match...black but not a glossy finish). Russian Jupiter sidecar is all steel, painted to match the bike. Front portion of car slides out of the way for easy entry, then back into place for a nice enclosed ride. Sidecar seat moves out of the way with a button release, or you can remove both seat cushions completely if you want to store a lot of gear. It's a great ride, and very stable (for a sidecar rig). Easy enough to drive with one hand (has a steering stabilizer which is great at higher speeds).

1974 BMW R90/6Only year of the /6 bikes to have both the kickstart and an electric start. Also the only year to retain the beautiful earlier /5 hand controls. Equipped with an original S fairing that houses the optional voltmeter and clock. I have loved owning this bike and have looked after it accordingly. I change the oil once a month along with a valve adjustment, the carbs have been rebuilt and synchronized perfectly. I have a strong emotional attachment to this R90 but it's time to move on. I swapped the long stem mirrors out for a single left side stubby version. It really cleans the lines up. The original BMW panniers are in great condition and show no sign of wear, all the clasps and attachements are in perfect working order. All the lights work as they should. This has got the desirable alluminium turn signals. New grips and footpeg rubbers. The seat is showing age appropriate wear but it's too nice to have recovered. Fits two very comfortably, I've been up and down the coast with a passenger and luggage.Mileage is just under 50,000 miles. The original points system has been upgraded to a Dyna electronic ignition. New AGM sealed battery as of last week.

Good running example of a 1974 R90/6. First year of the 900cc /6 models, this bike is in almost original condition except for the usual changes in tires, orings, etc. Currently just under 60k on the odometer, starts well, idles smoothly after warming up, drives nice. The previous owner informed me that oversized pistons and rings were fitted at about 50k miles, but I have not verified that and it runs well so no need to check into it. The pics are not great in the strong sunshine, but the paint is all original although faded (especially on top of the tank). The seat has been poorly recovered, easy remidy if you choose to do so. Horn, brake lights, signals all work so it's ready to pass inspection. I do have a few spare parts and the bike includes the original BMW tool kit which is complete to the best of my knowledge. This is a classic bike and I have tried to represent it well, feel free to ask more questions as long as they are not about ****** things like top speed, is it a good beginner bike, etc. No trades please, I am looking for a new home for this motorcycle because it doesn't get ridden enough due to a full garage of two-wheelers.

Just had valves, timing, electrical cleanup, carb rebuild, new inline fuel filters, new fuel hoses & new battery. Great example of a classic bike, and generally regarded as the BEST year R90 made. Current mileage is 80K. The seat is in great shape, and chrome rear grab rail is in place (with a small spot where chrome came off, and a few TINY rust spots which will come off with steel wool. The 5.5 gallon tank is in great shape, with clean rubber sides and no dents anywhere. Fenders clean, with good pinstriping, and a few small paint chips. Oh, and there's a nice ride-off custom center stand, in addition to the regular side stand. There are no known mechanical issues. Starts, stops, and idles nicely, all lights work, and ready to ride.

I've got a 1976 r90/6 in great shape, but with a twist. It has the look of a r75/5 with the monks blue toaster tank and fenders. It get comments and looks everywhere it goes. You get that great classic /5 look but with a 900cc engine and disc breaks! It's a smooth rider, and very reliable. Leaks a small amount if it sits for awhile but it is generally really great acting for a 41 year old machine. I paid 4700 for it, and have put about a Grand into it with new tires, new progressive suspension, break pads, and general maintenance. I'm only selling it because I bought an old shovel head and have another classic BMW adventure bike I ride more. There is a little wiggle room on price, but I'm not going to just give it away. Up for sale is my pride and joy, my rare matching numbers early 1974 BMW R90S in excellent condition. The VIN # is 4071101. As to appearance, you can tell from the photographs. The color scheme is Silver Smoke, the only color option for the R90S in 1974. The motorcycle has 46,694 miles on it since new, and 322 miles since the i have owned it. It starts right away and runs like a dream.

This BMW R90/6 has toured the lower 48. However. the rider is now touring Valhalla. Therefore, it is for sale. It runs well. It has a new clutch, battery, carburettor kits, float valves, air filter, oil filter, engine oil, gearbox oil, spark plugs, spark plug cables, starter relay, neutral switch, oil pressure light switch, and fork boots. The tires and mufflers are in good shape. It has 72,236 miles on the odometer. It rides well. For sale : Black '04 BMW R 1150RT motorcycle with 73,000 miles in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. The 1150RT gained a 6th speed over the 110RT - much more comfortable at highway speeds than the 1100RT. Well maintained, all features operate. Always garaged at home and covered overnight when travelling. The bike includes an electrically adjustable after-market taller windshield, PIAA driving lights as well as the BMW integrated radio, and accessory shelf. ABS, three seat heights, heated grips, accessory electrical outlets, and hard topcase as well as standard hard side cases. Original windshield, BMW maintenance manuals, and a number of 1150RT-specific maintenance parts and tools included. Included are my recently purchased Garmin Zumo 595LM GPS and SW-Motech tank bag. If you don't want the GPS I'll deduct $500 and if you don't want the tank bag I'll deduct $75 - I'll sell them separately. I just concluded (another) 4500 mile trip which this bike handled beautifully. There are plenty more long tours in this machine. I'm only selling it, after 12 years, as I've purchased a K1600GT.
