1991 Kawasaki Ninja 600R, I originally purchased this bike with 15k miles on it. Apparently it had been sitting in a garage for the better part of its life. I'm the third owner and I don't own a car, so it has been my everyday commuter (7 days/week, great gas mileage) over the last two years during which I have put almost 30k miles on it. Even now at just under 43k miles, she is a rock solid commuter once warmed up, still has very low mileage for her age, and while she still has a lot of life left in her, the time has come for me to upgrade. While the bike isn't going to win any beauty contests, all her fairings are still intact, all the electric components work fine, and she's perfect for someone like me who's not looking for a flashy bike, that will get you from point A to B just fine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~She's on her second set of Bridgestone Battlax BT45 Motorcycle Tires (Never had them slip on me, even in the rain, and was able to get 17k miles on the first set), I've had the gas tank cleaned out, carbs cleaned and synced, valves adjusted, replaced the CDI box, replaced the thermostat, replaced the clutch and throttle cables, replaced both front fork seals, replaced the stock speedometer cable with a new one from Motion Pro, replaced the stock clutch with an EBC SRC Series Clutch Kit, upgraded the spark plugs to NGK Iridium IX spark plugs, upgraded the stator and regulator/rectifier to ones from Ricks Motorsports, added a ZX6 clutch lever mount perch so I could install adjustable levers (they don't make adjustable levers for the old 600Rs), added a Zero Gravity windscreen, replaced the stock radiator cap with one from Moose Racing, added saddlebags that make picking up food/running errands/grocery shopping a breeze, recently upgraded the front and rear brakes with EBC Sintered Copper Alloy Disc Brake Pads (much better stopping power at the cost of having slightly noisier brakes), and replaced the chain and sprockets less than 1k miles ago (JT sprockets and a DID 530VXGB-102 Gold X-Ring Chain that isn't going to rust up from periodically riding in the rain). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The bike has a clean title, no major mechanical problems, and is registered until August of this year. I have the title in hand and my asking price is $1650 or best offer, so there's definitely some room for negotiation, but please don't waste my time or yours trying to low ball me, as I'm not in a rush to sell the bike. Chances are you won't find a registered, mechanically sound 600cc bike, with a clean title, this well maintained, in this price range. No PayPal transactions, no test rides without cash and M1 in hand. Any questions or to schedule a time to check out the bike text or call me at two one three, three two one, zero seven two two. $1,650.00
