1982 Kawasaki Gpz 750, Selling this GPZ classic well below stated value for one in good condition mainly because of it's 35000+ miles and that it blocks two of my other bikes in the garage. History: Originally purchased in fair condition with cosmetic blemishes and running rough. Managed to fix it up and get it running strong enough to be my daily commuter (50 miles round trip) for almost 10000 miles the last 2 years. About 2 months ago, I had some fuel delivery issues and I re-cleaned the carbs, treated the fuel filter and the fuel flowed again. However, in trying to put the carb back on, decided to take out the air box, put on pod filters, replace the jets with bigger ones and go from there. The pod filters seem to work well but the bike is difficult to start and requires a few squirts of starter fluid to do so. Once fired up, it rides nice. The Good: - Iconic bike ripe for full restoration or a good first bike to learn both mechanics and how to ride. - Newer tires, brakes, carb cleaning, and bike is maintained and cleaned regularly - Have kept all the original parts and comes with a Clymer Manual The Bad - As stated, needs starter fluid to start - Dash light comes on sporadically...this is a known issue for these bikes - Some cosmetic blemishes on tank - Seat has a small split that I've remedied with a small piece of velcro (soft side) - Other minor fixes that I will openly discuss in person or over the phone These bikes are a difficult find and most, at this price, aren't running. And though this bike is almost 35 years old, it has been a blast to ride and I wish I had the time and money to restore it to a pristine condition. $1,200.00 7204708220
