The only real "issue" is common with this bike. 2nd gear doesn't grab and I upshift to 3rd usually. This is a relatively easy repair that anyone that's even slightly mechanical can do. I will fix it this Fall if I end up not selling the bike. I also will include step-by-step pictured directions on how to fix this problem with the sale of the bike. I would even be willing to do it myself for $500.00. It's easy, but rather laborious. The Yamaha XS-750's 3-Cylinder design, along with its SHAFT DRIVE, makes these highly sought after bikes, especailly with such LOW MILES for a 37-year-old bike. Was going to be my project bike but I have an opportunity to buy another bike. It runs but the carbs need to be cleaned. As of now it needs an exhaust, air filter and a good cleaning. I have cleaned one of the carbs but have yet to clean the other two. Buyer is responsible for pickup. The previous owner was trying to make the bike into a cafe racer, and it has a second cafe racer seat that in in better condition than the one on the bike. It does need turn signals but the rest of the wiring is all working.

Sat before I bought it. Runs good. I haven't had it insured but have ridden it a few times. Starts better cold with the kick starter. Will need a back tire eventually and the brakes hang up a little if it sits. I bought as a project and have listed all the things I have replaced. It really just needs ridden and I would trust it. I bought it to flip. I have over $1000 into it not including many hours of my time. It's very good looking for an old bike and very solid. The engine cases have a good amount of oxidation but I'm sure some tlc would clean them up. I'm not a good detailer so I haven't put too much time into cleaning it. I have tried to be honest as possible here. If you have a question please ask. Replaced: Battery exhaust gaskets wiring connectors brake fluid oil, filter front brake master cylinder speedometer o rings front turn signals carbs cleaned by a bike mechanic middle gear case Comes with service manual that tells you everything about the bike. I will not ship the bike. I will be willing to meet after a fee has been agreed upon and payed up front.

It's in great condition for its age, all it needs is a new stator ($50 roughly on eBay) and a carb adjustment, does run but due to bad stator battery won't keep charge while riding, really don't want to lose it but I have bills to pay and can't afford to fix it at the moment, I'm looking to either trade for another bike 750cc or higher or sell, also not in this pic but it has king and queen seat and luggage rack, about 8,000 miles, clean title in hand, if interested let me know, thanks.
