The CB750 was a game changer. Our goals for this one were simple: Maintain some of the original look and feel, see how much weight we could take off this baby without loosing any of the nice 'features', make it go faster, make it stop quicker, and make it look good doing it! Official weight of only 422 lbs wet, thats a 23.4% weight reduction! As always, we will be donating a portion the the sale to the No Kid Hungry Campain. Please visit our blog for more photos and details. Specs: Displacement: 736.00 ccm (44.91 cubic inches)Final drive: 530 O-ring chain ConversionFront tire: Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 120/70 R17Rear tire: Pirelli Diablo Rosso II 160/60 R17Front Master Cylinder: Nissin 19mm radialFront brakes: Dual floating disk, 4 piston Nissin CalipersRear brakes: Single disk, single piston Nissin CaliperFront Suspension: Fully adjustable CBR900RR 45mm forksRear Suspension: Dual gas charged reservoir shocksIgnition: Electronic Hall effect ignition systemGauges: Motogadget Mini / LED oil pressure warningWet Weight: 422 lbs (551.2 lbs Stock)Tank/ Fuel capacity: 1973 CB750 hand shaped scallops/ 4.25 gallons Build Specs: Engine- The engine was low mileage to begin with so we took her apart just to check everything out. A quick freshen up including, lapping the valves, new valve seals, new rings, new seals and gaskets was all that was needed inside. Everything was vapor blasted before painting the cases, polishing the covers and finishing with a brushed effect, and installing new allen head bolts throughout. Frame- Before being powder coated in gloss black, we removed all unnecessary brackets, tabs, and other bits. We also installed a rear hoop section, new seat mounts, a new electronics tray, relocated the shock mounts, and added mounts for the rear sets Intake, Exhaust, and Lubrication- We stuck with the original carbs but rebuilt and rejetted them after vapor blasting to accommodate the new 4 into 1 exhaust and K&N air filters. We did away with the old oil tank and fabbed up a new low profile one that acts as the rear fender and opens up the middle of the bike a bit. We also made new oil lines to send and receive the lube. We saved the plans for the oil tank if you would like to order one, available in aluminum. Suspension- We mounted up front forks and triple from a CBR900RR Fireblade and installed dual gas charged shocks in the rear. The forks are preload, damping, and compression adjustable while the shocks are adjustable using a spanner and gas. With the new shock mounts and forks, the bike now has killer stance. We also fabbed up a new fork brace that holds the removable front fender. Lighting, Controls, and Gauges- Up front we have a new headlight with built in turn signals that sits on custom aluminum brackets. We mounted the Motogadget Mini Gauge (speedo, tach, odo, time, trip) in the headlight bucket to reduce clutter. Mounted into the top clamp we now have a LED oil pressure light (we figured if you cant find neutral or remember to turn off your signals then whats the use). We used the same clip-ons from the Fireblade and put in a new set of control switches for a CB750K0. A new set of grips, custom made cables, and bar end sliders complete the cockpit. The rear sets are also from the Fireblade and are mounted up to the frame via new frame mounts and machined the rearset guards. In back we have an integrated LED tail/ brake/ and turn signal set up. Powering everything is a super light Shorai battery. We installed a new reg/rec unit, new starter solenoid, flasher relay for the LEDs, electronic ignition, and reworked the wiring harness. We knew that removing the starter motor would be an easy way to reduce weight, but its nice to have the finer things in life, so we decided to keep it. Body, Tank, and Seat- We started with a tank from an earlier CB and hand shaped the scallops. We put a new thumb lever cap on and a new petcock. The seat is a one of a kind fiberglass unit that we made to follow the basic shape of the rear of the tank. We had the guys coat them with Speed Green before adding the swooping lines that you may recognize from a CB350. The seat pan was upholstered here in Santa Fe by B&M upholstery and paint was shot by Munoz Customs. The headlight bucket, exhaust, and front fender all have the same textured black finish. We saved the seat mold if anyone wants to order one. Brakes, Wheels, Tires- There are now dual floating discs up front and a single disk in the rear. Dual four piston Nissin calipers handle the duty's in front pumped by a 19mm Nissin radial master cylinder, and a single piston Nissin in the back. Custom brake lines are S/S braided. The bike is running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires front and rear riding on 17 inch Honda wheels that were coated in gloss black. An added benefit of using the newer wheels is that they have the 'cush drive' which reduces stress on your transmission. We also did a 530 chain conversion, which uses the stock Fireblade sprocket sizes and reduces weight. *Included with the bike: Manuals for Motogadget gauge, Nissin master cylinder, and Shorai Battery. Set of plugs, tool kit, extra key, jetting for your location, and detailed maintenance instructions. **Shipping: Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will be happy to help in any way I can including, giving names and numbers of companies I have used in the past, and holding the bike for up to 1 month after payment is received to allow for more time to set up shipping if needed. ***Payment: A deposit of $1000 is due within 24 hrs of auction close. Payment in full is due within 14 days of auction close. The bike, title, etc. will not be released until payment is received and cleared. We will accept Check, Money Order, Cash, or Credit Card. Credit cards will be charged a 2.7% fee.

You're looking at the latest Cafe Racer creation of Magnum Opus Custom Bikes in NC named "The Elegant Ride"This bike is being featured on the major cafè racer websites for its design and attention to details. It starts as a 1975 CB750 SOHC K5 with a modified frame and a freshly rebuilt motor (new piston rings, valve stem seals and all new gaskets (all of them), also a 3 angle valve job was done. The bike has only the testing milage on it (100 mi). Everything else (I mean everything else) has been replaced/upgraded. It's a joy to ride and it handles wonderfully!!! But hey, you're free to park it in your living room and show it to your guests, if you wish !!! With this build we wanted to create a light looking machine without sacrificing the handling and the elegance. We believe we achieved that with The Elegant Ride. A huge amount of effort went into the wiring and the controls, we had to minimize the number of wires/cables that go into the headlight, to get to the neat appearance we wanted. So, we got rid of the original controls to install minimalistic ones and relocating the start button (by hiding it) into a machined triple tree top nut. We wanted to use a headlight without lateral brackets, but we had a hard time finding one with the shape we wanted. We ended up with a very unusual choice, by adapting and installing a headlight that comes from a French car produced in 1948. We modified the body, to allow the installation of a 2.5" speedometer in it. The forks have been taken apart and chromed (they came from a 1978 CB750F), the brake disk, drilled. The old steering ball bearings have been replaced with a new generation of tapered ones and the races replaced. The velocity stacks (with brass screens), hand grips, pegs, tail light and exhaust tip have been machined down on a metal lathe (not CNC), we really spent some time creating these unique pieces by hand, using a bunch of aluminum billets. The gas tank and the seat pan were also handmade and the aluminum polished. The battery we used is a non-spillable gel one, installed under the seat cowl (we also installed a battery tender connector so you won't have to take apart anything to install it). The two original ugly unit (rectifier and regulator) have been replaced with a combo solid state one, installed under the seat along with the new LED blinker unit. ...The bike features custom wiring that led us to eliminate things we don't need or that would take up too much room, this bike now has a single 30 amp fuse , easily reachable on the right side of the bike. Continuing with the list of handmade parts, the starp and the upholstery was made by using , foam pads, and hand-quilted italian leather (100% prime quality leather). As you can see, the oil tank we used it isn't the original one, this particular one was made according to our specifications and professionally TIG welded and pressure tested by a shop here in Wilmington, NC. New oil lines were installed as well. We also installed a new 530 GOLD chain for aesthetical and functional purposes, drilled the rear wheel drum, the chain cover and some of the frame tabs for the same reason. New, vintage firestone tires were used for this build, because we wanted everything to match that period in time. The company's logo was the only thing engaved (cnc'd) onto the points cover. We installed a 4 into 1 kerker exhaust with a custom made exhaust tip. Upgraded the carburetors jet, needles and synchronized everything. Lastly, the hammer engraved name plate was added at the end to give you the feeling of a hand built machine. Please feel free to ask me any question about the bike. Text me here or at 347-235-9405 If you buy local (Wilmington, North Carolina USA) you'll have 30 days/1000 miles warranty as we're sure of the way we built this bike. NO MOTORCYCLE BUILDER GIVES YOU ANY WARRANTY ON A 40 YEARS OLD BIKE, WE DO. We might be able to throw in shipping (insured) for the right offer. Within the USA, NO international. Decided on case to case basis There's no warranty implied or expressed if you buy from out of State / Area or Country (due to possible scams). This unique bike is the result of 400 hours of work. YOU WON'T FIND ANOTHER BIKE ON THE STREET LIKE THIS. Street Legal No low ballers, only reasonable offers will be considered. Clean/Clear NC title in hand as for all our bikes! Up for auction is my recently built 1982 Honda cb750. First and foremost this bike is a rider, it was built for greater braking handling and acceleration it is meant to go and less show, however with that said this bike and I have been featured recently in Pipeburn's publications along with being re-posted all over the web and won some trophies in vintage classes at local bike shows, but again its a very clean great looking bike but is not perfect it is after all made mostly with recycled parts from other bikes. Copy and paste this to get to the Pipeburn article: pipeburn.com/home/2015/09/28/honda-cb750-charlie-james-customs.html I wanted to add that I really hate to see this bike go so soon would love to keep it longer for it's publicity but really looking to expand into a bigger building trying to grow our name right now and have other projects I would like to complete, and some one is going to get one heck of a custom CB that not only will grab attention where ever it goes but also has the riding ability to back it up. I could write a book on the efforts to make a bike like this but will just hit the main things: Engine is stock with exception of CB900f camshafts new valve cover gasket, timing/valves adjusted, engine covers polished new gaskets for covers as well as Alloy Bolts hardware. Front end is from a early 90's CBR 600 f2, stock cb750 stem pressed and welded onto cbr lower tree, upper yoke, forks (new fluid and seals), rim, calipers, rotors, fender etc... all from F2. Rear end is mid 90's CBR 600 F3, swing arm, 5" rear wheel with new 48t sprocket, custom shims for pivot bolt, new 530x112 chain, caliper, rotor, etc... Bike Master 7/8 superbike bars mounted to upper tree using vintage KTM bar mounts. 1978 Suzuki GS 550 gas tank with new Pingel Racing petcock adapter plate to run 3/8 male npt type petcocks new Harley style chrome petcock.(paint and prep on tank is good but not perfect) The Bonneville Shop 7" carbon head light bucket added a Halogen lamp that has built in leds wired as front indicators. Carbon looking bar ends and levers. Cone type filters with stainless bands instead of big hose clamps. The hand controls/switches I pulled off a bike I parted out I'm almost positive it was a early 2000's Katana. Polished upper tree and engine side covers not mirror polish didn't want chrome shine but they look great and there is a lot of time into them sanding and polishing. AceWell digital speedometer 3700mx has speed tachometer hi beam indicator neutral light + more not there best but very fitting for this type of machine. Honda cbr rear sets with new foot rests (pegs).. Custom sub frame with a very comfortable coffee bean color cafe style seat with a small wrapped hump. Dunlop Sport Max Q2 tires 180/55/17 rear and 120/70/17 front. Integrated Led tail light strip with signals. New old stock OEM Suzuki gas cap for tank. New ytx9bs AGM battery in a fabricated battery box located under bike, behind rear of engine also using a Suzuki battery strap. Vance and Hines Vintage 4into1 in great shape with baffles in tact very nice sound and loud when you open it up New jets from Dime City 70/122 this combo has been working great for me here in Ohio obviously if you take the bike to different elevation or cold/hotter/humid etc.. it may need adjusted to your area. Inside of carbs cleaned inspected replaced some hardware out sides brushed off and lightly solvent cleaned but the engine cases and carbs still have there original finish so there is dirt/grime chips to finish on motor, I really don't like to paint motors always feels like your hiding something this bike has been around for 30+ years its heart (engine) earned that finish! Stock wire harness has been shortened but everything is still there everything is neatly tucked wrapped and hidden, under tank houses flasher relay, fuse panel and solenoid, under the sub frame towards front of seat mounted are the igniters and r/r. There is labeled wires in the headlight bucket for a horn they are already wired to the switch I can even throw in a used horn if your state requires one, I thought maybe get a new small one and hide it in the bucket itself should be enough room. I am sure I didn't touch on every little detail like new bearings and hardware through out but I imagine you get the most of it and there is a walk around video plus lot's of pictures. Being as it is a old bike there is no warranty but you and whoever owns the bike in the future will get and endless supply of help with any questions about the bike how things were done I will even work on the bike maintenance if your near by or can bring it to me. Basically whatever support I can give and others who have bought my bikes metal art etc... can attest to that. Any questions just ask and thanks for looking. 1978 CB750F with 300 miles on rebuild and a clear title. Bike starts up easy runs and looks great! Listed below are just some of things that have been done to this bike. If you would like to know even more and you are a serious buyer, please email me your phone # and I will call you. Countless hours and money have been spent on the restore. Please use the cursor next to the main picture to view all of them, enlarge and watch video. Rebuilt engine with new timing and primary chains and rings. Head was rebuilt with new valves and had a light port and polish. Motor has about 300 miles since the rebuild and is still being broke in. The ignition system has been upgraded to a Pamco system. No points that you have to mess with or go bad. Frame, swing arm and forks and most of the small parts were Powder coated. Tank and side covers were painted with ppg black. Tank was cleaned and lined. Forks were rebuilt with new seals and the headset bearings were upgraded to roller bearings. New tires. Seat was shortened about 3in and was re foamed and re covered. Brakes were rebuilt with new pistons and seals. I have most of the stock parts if the new buyer wants them. Airbox, turn signals, horns, handlebars, brake light and seat hoop. I can have the bike shipped to most areas in California for $250.00 and I can get quotes to other areas if you are a serious buyer. If you have any questions about anything please ask. International bidders are welcome. Thanks! ___INSERT VIDEO HERE___

Fun, clean, cafe racer ready for the riding season. This bike was a winter project. It was in sad shape and has had quite a bit done to it over the last few months to bring it up to snuff and ensure a solid platform before building on it. Including:-Valves adjusted for proper compression-Carbs cleaned, rebuilt, and tuned-New front tire (good tred in rear tire)-Cleaned and bled brakes-Wiring cleaned up and turn signals installed-New spark plugs-New battery-Oil change (checked oil filter for metal filings and was clean, engine is healthy)Additionally:-Aftermarket exhaust-Gas tank in good shape-No rust in tank-Pod filters (with proper jets and properly tuned carb)-Chopped rear end and aftermarket seat-Clean Arkansas title in handIt's not perfect, but it looks sharp, sounds mean, and has never left me stranded. I'm over 6ft so I'm looking for something more comfortable to ride. Open to trades, specifically Honda Shadow 750s. Call, text, or email. I'm easy to get a hold of. Mileage will go up as I'm driving it daily. $2950 or best offer.
