The bike fires right up on the first kick and sounds great no smoke or leaks. The starter must have an issue, it turns very slowly, even with a new battery, but very easy to kick, and always starts right up. Clear title. It was a one owner bike. This was customized in the 1970's. Very Cool 70's paint job, which is still very nice, A lot of old school Twisted chrome parts. handle bars, shifter etc. Shifts, Clutch works. No dents in the tank. Overall the chrome does have pitting/ Rust. No damage on the motor. Looks to have never been down. Reads 51,017 on the speedometer. Built in 5/73. Would make a great old school rider . you receive what is pictured. Also i noticed with the gas tank off, the 2 rails on the frame where cut out to get the head off easier, inside of having to pull the motor. Please see my other vintage motorcycles and parts. 1973 Honda CB750 in very nice condition. The bike has had a good amateur restoration including an engine rebuild, paint, and gas tank reconditioning. It has had some minor cosmetic changes to appear more of a "cafe" style motorcycle. I have all the original parts that came off, minus the exhaust. The aftermarket speedometer has stopped working late last summer, the odometer and tachometer are still working. Clean title, runs and drives without issue.
Completely rebuilt by Jeff Stephens of Godffrey's Garage. Rebuild documented on Vinmoto.org. All internals upgraded and/or replaced with new components. $7,000 invested. 21k miles on clock when purchased, 4k miles ridden since rebuild. Kept in heated garage. Runs and rides great, amazing actually! Everything works. Have some original parts including original seat, but do not have original 4 into 4 pipes. After market Mac pipes sound fantastic. NOS seat is on now. New battery installed recently. If you want an easy to maintain classic bike that starts and runs like new (seriously)... this is it. This motor was groundbreaking in its day, and is still incredible. Paint is original so is worn in some areas, hard to see in photos. Have extra set of aftermarket side covers & 750 badges. Enjoy as is, take back to 100% stock or go cafe, the choice is yours. Clean title in my name. Cash or cashiers check. Will take payment and hand over bike with title at the Great Lakes Credit Union in Antioch, IL. No monkey business. Thanks for your consideration!
