For Sale: HONDA 1971 CL350 I bought this bike from the second owner 7 months ago locally. The prior owner did a partial restoration (painted the tank and side covers and installed new tires). The bike looks very good for her age, and the odometer reads 14K milles and works, so looks like they are the original miles. This CL is not missing any parts and looks 99% original. All the hardware looks good, too so I don’t see signs of a lot of work done to it. The seat has a small tear on the back but it’s not very obvious and looks like the cover is the original. Wheels look good, tires are almost new. Motor does not leak, sounds good, no weird noises, good compression and no smoke.Transmission shifts good. Clutch is new. Sometimes the lever tends to stick up with you shift up gears ( 3rd, 4rd) and I have to lightly touch it but I think is the lack of use. I installed two brand new Mikunis 30mm a month ago and I’m not having the best luck tuning the new carburetors and I’m not an expert on dual carbs bikes. There is a lot of info out there for these bikes. The engine starts, idles and sounds good until it hits 4000RPM where it runs rough until 5500RPM. Somebody that knows this bikes could probably figure the right jetting. I can’t and I don’t have a mechanic in my town that works on these type of bikes. All my bikes are dirt bikes, single carbs and I don’t have the patience and the tools to tune this bike. Pipes are in great condition, no leaks, no rust. Some surface oxidation at the bottom but minimal. Here is a video of this CL running - I own about 10 classic bikes between Hondas, Yamahas, Triumphs, etc. I been buying old bikes online for a while and I know how many times the lack of info in the description can be a deal breaker. The problem is that the bike is already in my garage at that point. So I do my best to let you know about this bike with my description.I think this is a great bike to cruise on weekends, looks good, looks cool and is easy to ride. I have the original manual and tuning book and the original keys. Recent work: New EBC clutch plates New Mikuni Carburetors New Throttle cable New oil Lubed all the cables New points Spark plugs and caps New coilsNew Fuel linesNew Air filters Areas of attention. Tune carbs Change oil forks seals (the right one leaks) Bike comes with a bill of sale and clean title. OVERSEAS AND INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME. Nice All original Low mileage Vintage bike, Clear title. I found this bike in a garage that I was buying a 1968 Mustang from. The gentleman bought the bike in 1973 and rode it until 1977 where it was parked and stored in a heated garage. I brought her home And did a wash job "it could use some chrome polish but it looks great with just a quick wash" and cleaned out the tank and the bowls and just did the basics and she fired right up! Everything is said to be original and from the looks and the mileage I have no reason to doubt it. Everything works from the electric start to the lights and horn. She starts up very easy with the kick start or starter. I do not ride bikes but I did take her down the driveway and back and it shifts in all gears. It has a dent on the driver side of the tank that looks like it can be fixed.... Also some scrapes on the muffler cover. She's for sale as is where is. Please ask any and all questions. I have a clear Transferable Registration card from 1977!!!! Deposit of 500.00 must be made immediately Thanks! BO BUYS IT!

Own a classic! This 44 year old Barn Find, 1971 Honda CL175 K5 Scrambler, was found in a barn in Minnesota 12 years ago with 724 original miles on it. It was, and still is, in pristine original condition. The farmer who purchased this bike in 1971 took a spill after putting 724 miles on it and put it up in his barn, never to ride it again. You can see from the front left fork photo that there is minor damage to the left fork ear and a tiny bit of rust on the headlight. There are also a few paint chips and one very minor ding in the gas tank. Since I purchased it 12 years ago, I have put 828 miles on it. I believe that the motor is finally just now beginning to break in. It runs like a new bike, because it essentially is a new bike. It has been kept in my garage and cared for with white gloves. This is the perfect bike for the collector, or the rider who wants a beautiful classic get-around bike. This listing is priced OBO Columbus, OH. If you need help finding shipping transportation, I will gladly assist you.I am also listing this motorcycle locally and reserve the right to end this auction early if it sells before the auction ends.
