It is a Carb: the same carb. ****InductionKeihin® 40mm flat-slide carburetor with Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) 2015 Honda Spec Carburetion: Keihin 40mm flat-slide with throttle position sensor (TPS) 2006 Honda Spec I am selling my 2006 Honda CRF450X. What you need to know: This Honda CRF450X was purchased brand new in April 2008. This motorcycle has never been crashed / wrecked / damaged in ANY way ( except for some very minor scratches from tree branches ). Radiators are straight and true. Rims are scratch free. As a matter of fact, this dirt bike has never really been " dirty ". The kick starter has been used once . After decades of kick starting my bikes, electric start is a luxury addition that you miss when you jump on a 450 four stroke that does not have it. ( and a kick stand! ). On a motocross track you just pull into the pits, out in the woods you learn to stop next to a tree without the tripod. Needless to say, this engine starts instantly and runs flawlessly. Only the finest Honda oil ( HP4 & HP ) has been used for engine and transmission use. Oil changed every year despite usage. Oil is cheap compared to engines. As Indy said to Marion in Raiders of the Lost Ark, " It's not the years, it's the MILEAGE ". And this Honda has rolled VERY few. Less then three hours of use. The odometer reads 35.7 and has never been reset. What is not to love here. This is a premier, top of the line, electric start 450 brute that has fans all over the world. I can give you links to numerous magazine articles and tests that tell the story of this amazing Honda. It is a big comfy battle wagon that can blast an ear to ear grin on your face real fast. IF you have the skill set, you could take this bike and go win a regional Hare Scramble or Enduro next weekend. This bike has the goods. It is one of the only off-road bikes that Dirt Bike Magazine editors say you can ride right out of the box with no modifications necessary. Box stock it is a very capable off road mount. Hand guards can be installed before delivery if needed. Look at the pictures. Check out the pristine driveline, DID O-Ring chain with no master link, you have probably never seen a chain this clean on a used bike. Zero dirt / rust / well lubed with aerospace lubricant ( Dupont Krytox, it was even used on the Lunar Rover ). This chain has never had to be adjusted. Brakes, the OEM pads have next to zero wear. 1) One owner, all original, extremely low hours, extremely well cared for. New battery installed with battery charger pigtail to make it easy to hook up your battery charger between rides. Fuel tank and carb were drained regularly to prevent " bad gas " problems. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Words to live by with dirt bikes. Coolant recently flushed and replaced. Front and rear brake systems flushed and bled. Engine / Transmission / oil changed plus filter for engine. Spokes were all checked, tire pressure set. ( These are little things, but most sellers are just ready to get rid of their bike and rarely think of the new owner. And as the new owner, you do not want to spend money or time to repair / adjust / tune up your new bike, you want to start riding! 2) Peace of Mind: Certificate of Origin not only proves provenance, you know it is not stolen. But ALSO, if you live in a TITLE state such as Florida, with this document you will have zero problems obtaining documentation to legally ride on state lands. Having this document adds value, and will continue to add value when and if the new owner ever sells. Also you are getting the Honda Factory Service Manual and the separate Owners Manual. 3) The condition of the bike. Pictures do not do this baby justice, but I believe a potential buyer can see that this is an EXCEPTIONAL Honda that has been babied and barely ridden. This is just short of buying a brand new bike, if you can live with some minor scratches from tree branches you will save thousands of dollars. 4) Honda has not changed this model. My 2006 is 99% identical to a 2015. So you are not buying an outdated motorcycle, it is the SAME one Honda is still selling as a 2015. You are not giving up anything compared to a 2015 ( except a white rear fender ). 5) This CRF450X is ALL original. Which means no one has modified it in any way. It is just like buying a new unmolested bike. 6) Delivery: If needed I can personally deliver this Honda up to 800 miles ( round trip ) for a nominal fee.
