This is a 2010 BMW 1200GS Adventure All-Road Motorcycle in Impeccable, Immaculate as New Condition with just 3028 miles on it since new. Includes bags as shown in photo and set of road tires! Gallery Photo is from BMW. Remaining photos are of this bike. I bought this in late 2013 with a bucket list of round the world adventure in mind. Life changes and so that will have to be another day. I bought from a trusted Santa Barbara local who's business also meant adventure would have to wait. Bike is registered and plated in California. It was bought originally from a AZ dealership. I have been late on registering it into my name, but I will only sell it with clear title in my name on California Pink and all fees paid up to date. This will take a few days to complete but should be all done by Jan 15, 2016. The Accessory Top-End BMW hard-case Travel Boxes (two as shown) are included along with an extra pair of Street-Use Tires in excellent condition as well. Up for sale is a 2012 BMW R 1200 GS Adventure with 15264 original miles. The Adventure is in extremely good condition considering age and miles and shows just normal signs of wear and tear. All plastics show nice, so does the rest of the bike. Please take a look at all the detailed pictures and judge by yourself. There is s light dent in the left exhaust header. The BMW is in fantastic mechanical condition and has no known issues or fluid leaks. The engine starts right up, doesn’t smoke and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The BMW comes with a board computer, ABS, ESA, heated grips, oil pan guards, fog lights and some aftermarket “Baja Design” LED lights. I do not have any side bags or a top case for this bike, so it is priced accordingly. Rigged and tested for adventure riding. This bike has been my trusted steed thru many adventures, and no doubt she will serve you well. Its tank-tough, yet runs like its still new (due to tender care and systematic maintenance). Sure, 'adventure' has meant she got some knicks and scratches, but mostly on her well-protected crashbars and skid plates. I took the Rawhyde course a few years back, and good thing I had the crashbars installed before that! 2007 BMW R1200 GS Adventure for sale In the interest of full disclosure: 1 - It’s got 105,000 miles on it. (Which isn’t a lot for a BMW that’s been well taken care of.) 2 - In this case, BMW actually means Big Man’s Wheels. It’s been set up for a large rider. The Adventure model has a taller seating position due to elongated shocks/springs and I’ve got a pretty tall custom seat on it. I’ve also got handle bar risers on it to raise the handlebars for an upright seating/riding position. And, of course, it’s also got a tall windscreen. I bought the bike new and have taken personal care of it, except when I had services done at the local BMW shop. I have all the service records, even those times I changed the oil & filter and adjusted the valves myself. Custom Camo paint job. You won’t see another one like it, I guarantee that! Always garaged unless we were out on an adventure together, in which case I have a fabric cover that I cover it with when parked overnight. BMW hard saddlebags and matching rear top-box. (With lift-out canvas bags/liners for side boxes) Aftermarket bash-plate under the engine to protect the bottom of the motor. Freeway pegs mounted to crash bars (an alternate place to put your feet for those long days in the saddle) Hand guards to shield handlebar ends from the elements. - Front fender extension to keep road crap off the front of the motor. - Plastic headlight lens protective cover. - Heated grips. - Anti-lock brakes Stylish exhaust tip extension to move the heat out behind the bike. I once melted a nylon stuff sack which was in the left saddlebag. This cures that. - Rear accessory locking tool box, which fits in behind the right saddlebag. Ohlins shocks & springs, front & rear. - Front LED running lights that go on with the motor. Separate relay-controlled fuse panel for electrical accessories. (This era bike uses what they call can-bus technology, which eliminates the need for fuses, but makes it difficult to run electrical accessories) Extra accessory plugs near dashboard of bike (powered through the accessory fuse panel). One cigarette lighter type, one BMW type. Rebuilt final drive by BMW shop. (The bearings in the first one were getting sloppy and I wanted to ride down to Texas last Fall. I was advised to have the bearings in the final drive replaced before that trip - which I did.) New rim on front wheel. The aluminum rim was out-of-round and was causing a shimmy at speeds in excess of 75 MPH, so I had it replaced. Decent rubber left on the tires. I’d leave for NYC tomorrow with it on those tires. I’ve never raced it, but this bike has been used both on road and off road. It’s been dropped in the dirt, maybe a dozen times, and has a few scratches as battle scars. My feeling is, it’s earned them, why not show them off? Sort of like an old dueling scar on your cheek. This bike is used, but it’s not used up - by any means! I’ve taken good care of it and the only reason I’m selling it is because I bought a 2012 model.

2012 BMW R1200GS, This is the Low Suspension model dressed up by BMW to look identical to the Adventure, I am the Original Owner I purchased it new from BMW Ventura in may 2012 for $26985.00. It does not have a extended warranty, It has just under 9700 street miles, just serviced in july by dealer, bike is fully loaded with ABS, ASC, TPS tire pressure, heated grips, BMW Navigator GPS, Triple locking Panniers, Adventure tank bag, Adventure engine guards wrap around with tall adventure windscreen, Dual LED off road lights, Factory low suspension (seat height ~31"), Bike has never been dropped, scratched or out of southern California. It been in the dirt less then 20 miles, I bought the bike to visit my grandson that lived 50 miles away up the canyon, and their family has since moved out of state so it just sits in the garage covered up, Im in no hurry to sell it, not interested in lowball offers, Kelly blue book has this at $13K + another $2500 in accessories, my minimum is just below that. your welcome to come look in person and bring cash to test ride it.
