We had extra fairings so they've been replaced but the mirror is still missing, along with the dash lock and left saddlebag key. It runs and rides fantastic with no leaking, smoking or unusual noises. With a very small amount of work, this could be a great touring bike. If registered in California, it will be a Salvage title. Please check with your locals laws and note that it comes with a bill of sale and purchase invoice from our licensed company for you to achieve a title . Up for auction is a 2001 BMW R1200. The bike runs. We took photos of the bike and its damage. The bike was involved in a head on collision. As you can see by the pictures the front suspension broke in the accident. The front exhaust pipes got dented in the accident and the left pipe is not seated in the head so the exhaust leaks when its running. We tried to tighted the header bolts but the lower stud on the left side is stripped. Most of the damage is to the front of the bike, the speedometer was damaged so mileage is unknown. Please see the pictures. We do our best to describe any damage so If you have any questions please feel free to ask and inspections are welcome. This motorcycle is sold as is with no guarantee or warranty. We have done our best to describe the motorcycle so if you have any questions at all, please contact us first before bidding or buying. We do not offer a guarantee that the frame or chassis is straight. We do not guarantee that the battery will be charged, most of the motorcycles we handle have dead or dying batteries and require a battery to start. We are open during general business hours and this bike can be inspected at any time but please call to make arrangements so we can move it out for inspection. We have a California Salvage certificate on this motorcycle, that including a bill of sale will be given in case of export to another country. We can arrange to have the motorcycle crated and delivered to port for export for an additional cost. If the vehicle is to be registered in California, we are obligated to turn the salvage certificate in to DMV and they issue the bike a number referred to as an Acquisition number. This number on a bill of sale will be given to the buyer. We are also obligated to collect sales tax on the vehicle at the time of sale. This process takes 7-10 working days to complete. If the vehicle is sold to a buyer outside of California, we will provide the salvage certificate and bill of sale. The motorcycle must be arranged to be transported by certified transport company to an address outside of California to avoid paying sales tax. If you are an out of state buyer and pick the vehicle up from our address, you will be required to pay sales tax. It is not legal to ride this motorcycle on any California roads until its registered so please done ask if you can fly in and ride it home.
