2009 F650 GS1 owner. 2nd bike. 1988 Honda ZB50. Starts and runs perfect.FOR SALE, (RARE) This is the ZB50 you have been waiting for. Up for sale is an unmolested 1988 Honda ZB50 with low miles. I have 3 of these bikes for sale. More pix provided by request. All the ZB50's are rust free, clean, they all start and run. They all have titles. They all have 1600 miles or less Collectors dream of bikes like this. This bike is becoming more rare and hard to find complete, unrestored all original. Rare to find one in such great shape, The bike is 29 years old and looks amazing. Honda 1988 ZB50 - Nice Condition, Low MilesOnly 3,058 were produced for the US market.The US ZB50 was only available in 1988.Belongs to the Honda Z Series family of mini bikes.The ZB50 is a street legal motorcycle.Every part is original, OEM as it came from Honda, and unmolested.This bike is in great condition.It has a title.Current mileage 1600.The transmission is a 3-speed semi-automatic. This is a very clean low mile Suzuki Drz 400 bike. Its california street legal and plated. It only has approximately 3000 miles. Its runs and rides like new. It has the highly desired $500 fcr carb which really makes these bikes run great. Also included is a set of Dunlop dirt tires and a box of extra parts. The reg. just expired this month, but I do have a clean California Title in hand. I think She is a Bargain & is a Nice Example of a SUPER LOW HOUR Very Presentable 1970 DT-1 (That is really the last of the TRUE Original Series DT-1's) that was Just cosmetically Etc Restored ! ! ! This Beauty has been in Covered DRY Storage for Many Years (( She was in Covered storage for the past FOUR DECADE's)) & according to her Original owners family she has a fairly LOW HOUR Engine (& some time shortly after this bike was New...(IE) The Original Owners family said that a dealer had installed a Brand NEW Factory YAMAHA Replacement (Warranty replacement??) ENGINE) installed just a little prior to when the Original Owners health deteriorated & the bike was placed into storage ..(The 1970 Brand new Engine replacement can Be Proven because typically these YAMAHA Replacement engines numbers have not been stamped yet).. For the last several Months we Did her Cosmetic Restoration.. My Mechanic & I disassembled Her thoroughly Inspected Her Engines Top End Her, Piston and Rings Crankshaft & Rod Bearing, Clutch, Gaskets Carburetor etc etc etc etc etc & She has Very low hours on Her Engine > I was told her engine was replaced just a few hours of use before she was Placed in storage ~40 years ago) >...& YES! She RUNS GREAT & Has TONS of Compression & Starts Typically Super Quick & EASY ...& YES ! She Runs GREAT !!!! & she shifts PERFECTLY through her gears 1st, N 2nd, 3rd, & 4th & 5th gear ! ! ! Both Her Engine and Transmission operates PERFECTLY ! ! ! (I just had it Rebuilt January 2017 by my Very best Vintage YAMAHA mechanic & as you can see her Rolling Chassis has just had a FRESH BRAND NEW & Very Nice Cosmetic Restoration (As detailed above & below) & is just returning to service again & She Starts Well & is "Running Great" I personally think the more you run her the Better she will run ! Owners family..Many years ago She has had a Factory YAMAHA Replacement ENGINE & in the last several months during her Cosmetic restoration we disassembled + Cleaned + inspected her Wonderful Engines entire top end=Piston+Rings+ Crankshaft+cylinder+Head+Carburetor+All Clutch Plates & in Dec 2016 & Jan. 2017 we had her Transmission Rebuilt By My Best YAMAHA Mechanic (I drove ~80 miles each way to get Her engine/trans to Him!!) etc etc ...& YES! SHE RUNS GREAT.& has "HUGE" Compression ! ! ! She was at one time re-purposed as a off road bike, She looks to still have All of her lights & majority of her Tachometer & Speedometer Engine Generator & Main Engine Wire Loom (that goes from the engine up toward under the Fuel tank, She also has her Brake Light Stop Switch complete with Her Stop light switch Activating Spring etc & the two stop light switches Electrical plug-in leads etc all look Present & look to be in Good Condition, again, I have not had time to try & electrically reconnect the head & taillight etc .Again, lights etc are not electrically connected & therefore, are not operational at this time...Again, I have not tried to electrically hook up any of Her Orig.Headlight & Tail Light,etc... they appear Present & look Very Nice but Will need to be re-electrically connected & therefore I do not believe they are functioning. I have not spent anytime,to get the light etc items work..As MANY of these Original Series "PISTON PORT" YAMAHA ENDURO's Are Purchased to Become VINTAGE RACING BIKES !!!! So again I have not spent any time to try and make them operational...However .I have a Brand New Battery in box that I will be giving the new Owner "FREE". Again, & all Lights etc etc all appear to be present+in look to be in good condition just not electrically connected. & YES! ! ! But Fear Not...This Wonderful Bike RUNS STARTS & SHIFTS GREAT ! ! + Again, Her Transmission was Just Rebuilt January 2017 ! & YES! Her Clutch Works GREAT & YES! She STOPS GREAT !!! ,(IE) All of our effort on Cosmetic Restoration as detailed above & below & we have her Engine Running GREAT ! (IE) Besides disassembling & Inspecting this Wonderful Bike Engines top end (Piston, Rings, Cylinder etc etc ..We Also Flushed Her :Fuel Tank+Carburetor+gas+Fuel Shut Off Valve &/W Fresh Gas,She started right up! We Cleaned+Inspected All Clutch Plates+Replaced the Gear Box Oil W/Brand New High Quality Trans Oil,Brand New fuel lines & a "Brand New" UNI Air Cleaner sock style Element, etc.Nice Big Meaty High Quality PIRELLI Rear & Original Style Front Dunlap TRAILS UNIVERSAL style TIRES, My Mechanic seems to think Her Front tire was the ORIGINAL Tire that came from YAMAHA in 1970 !!!!!! Her Quality Her Seat was rebuilt from the "Frame-Up" !PLEASE NOTE: I am selling off entire my HUGE Vintage Bike Collection+All Priced to sell as you can see"All Way Below Book Value"So,please bid accordingly"” VIN= DT1 VIN # = DT-1 63225 = (Vehicle Identification Number) = + or - a Digit or two on the end. This is an excellent motorcycle with 4100 original miles! Semi restored with lots of OEM parts: exhaustseat covermirrorsside coverscables, etc. Bike has new tires, stainless-steel spokes, hubs repainted, tank and fenders repainted to OEM standards. SHE RUNS GREAT.& has "HUGE" Compression ! ! ! She was at one time re-purposed as a off road bike, She looks to still have All of her lights & majority of her Tachometer & Speedo Engine Generator & Main Engine Wire Loom (that goes from the engine up toward under the Fuel tank, She also has her Brake Light Stop Switch complete with Her Stop light switch Activating Spring etc & the two stop light switches Electrical plug-in leads etc all look Present & look to be in Good Condition, again, I have not had time to try & electrically reconnect the head & taillight etc .Again, lights etc are not electrically connected & therefore, are not operational at this time...Again, I have not tried to electrically hook up any of Her Orig.Headlight &a Tail Light,appear Present Will need to be re- electrically connected & therefore are not functioning. 1984 Honda CT110 Trail BikeLocal Pickup Only in Bakersfield, CA--Will Not Ship I am selling my Honda CT110 trail bike. It is currently registered in CA for street legal operation and comes with a clear CA title in my name. This bike has the dual-range transmission and is a 4-speed with an auto-clutch. It is in excellent condition for a vintage bike and runs great. It currently has 8,119 miles on the odometer (may have slightly more at the time of sale). I bought this bike from an older gentleman in 2012 who said he was the second owner. After buying it, my husband and I did a near complete frame-up restoration to near show quality. But I did restore the bike to trail ride, so while it is still beautiful, it has some imperfections, which are mostly cosmetic. I always received compliments on this bike every time I rode it. I am only selling it now, because my husband sold his CT110, so I'm not riding this much anymore. I will do my best to describe in great detail the condition of the bike here: Here is a list of parts that we installed during the restoration: - New red battery box - New battery box decal - New frame cover - New frame cover decals - New Honda OEM CT110 Australian-spec exhaust system - New center stand - New complete seat - New front rim and spokes laced to original hub - New OEM genuine Kehin carbeurator for 1986 model Honda CT110 - New grips - New airbox decal - New auxiliary gas can decal - New Golden Boy trials tires and innertubes - New Honda OEM cylinder - New Honda OEM Piston, rings and piston pin - New top end gaskets - New battery - New fuel lines and inline fuel filters - Made narrower aluminum rear light bar (original one stuck out too far for trail riding) - New rear passenger footpegs - Various small parts like bolts, rubber bits, etc. Here are the items that were either painted or powdercoated during the restoration: - Frame, forks, main gas tank and airbox were painted - Swingarm was professionally sandblasted and powdercoated - Skidplate, front fender, luggage rack, auxiliary gas tank, brake pedal and kickstand were professionally sandblasted and powdercoated black - Kick-start was either painted or powdercoated black - Hubs and combo brake/shifter were painted black - Rear spokes were painted flat or matte black - Engine was painted Now I will try to make a very detailed list of the cosmetic imperfections: - Small shallow dents in front fender - Left side mirror mount threads are stripped (could be tapped to larger size), so I put on a handlebar mount folding mirror - Right mirror was painted by previous owner and looks a little crude - Airbox decal has been marked up (and touched up with black marker) from my foot using the heel part of the shifter and rubbing against the decal - Tiny crack in airbox breather hose - Engine paint has worn from foot rubbing and from gasoline - Chips in paint near head tube - A few teeth on shifter spline were already damaged when I bought it, but was not an issue for me - Luggage rack deck was pitted when I bought the bike, and is still a little visible under the powercoat, even after sandblasting. Also luggage rack has scratches from when I had a rear seat mounted, and then later from carrying a rear bag. - Rear sprocket shows wear on teeth - We never sorted out the turn signal wiring, since I didn't need them for trail riding, so they are not working - Rear taillight has black scrape on left and long crack on right (does not affect function) - Front left turn signal is cracked/broken - Battery box and decal has some scratches - Various minor chips and scratches throughout (see detailed photos) - Front forks leak a small amount of oil, but I recently drained and refilled them, and the loss was so minimal, it was not really measurable - I occasionally get a small drop of oil from the engine area Other: - Main gas tank was treated with Evapo-Rust (great product!) - Auxiliary gas can/tank was not treated on the inside, so I would not recommend using it for gas until you inspect it, clean it and treat it if necessary The bike is currently in great running order, and I have tried to provide an extremely detailed description and photos to give you a clear idea of the condition, but this is a vintage motorcycle, so I cannot offer any kind of guarantee or warranty. Bike is sold as is. Since we had two of these bikes, I have a few odds and ends of small parts that I can include with the bike, along with a Clymer repair manual. This bike is for LOCAL PICKUP ONLY in Bakersfield, CA. I am not willing to ship the bike.
