1982 Yamaha XJ550 Maxim Bobber Single Seat, Chopped and Lowered, Good Tires, 28k miles, asking $1800 obo New Front Fork Seals, Replaced Cylinder Head, New Head Gasket (from Poland!), New Cylinder Cover Bolts, New Camshaft Bearings, New Battery, Crash bars, Removed Stock Air Intake and replaced with Pod Filters, Rejetted Carbs, Tune up, De-rust and Seal Gas Tank, Fuel Petcock Refurb, Starter Button Relocate, Sand and Paint Mirrors, Lowered Rear End, Rear Frame behind seat removed. Needs Rear Break light and License Bracket $25-30, and Carb Sync

This bike is in good condition - ready to ride! Fantastic beginner bike, especially if you like getting to know how a bike works, inside & out! It has a center stand, two keys, really comfortable seat, and I am including the saddle bags (pictured) and extra spark plugs. Clean title on hand. I prefer cash only, $1300-OBO. It was just serviced by Motorcycle Mania in Chicago. I have the receipt to prove all part improvements and servicing recently done. I recently moved here from Chicago and brought the bike with me. I am working on making the altitude adjustments. There is a scratch on the gas tank, missing horn button, and small rust hole on the exhaust pipe (dime size). Other than that it's a really fun ride!!

Rare bike to find in this great of condition. Rides nice and smooth. Clean title in my name. Registration good through 9/8/16. 1982 Yamaha Xj550 MAXIM,8k mile........I have two of these bikes the other one is a 81 I've been using it for a parts bike.....I'm letting them go together. I've had the 82 running the other day it will need an oil change maybe some carb cleaner ran through it and the chain lubed and adjusted. 1982 Yamaha Xj550 MAXIM, For Sale: A 1982 Yamaha XJ550RJ. This is a "Project Bike" purchase by my son several years ago, but he was unable to secure parts for it due to its age. It ran when it was put in storage, but has not been started in several years and needs a new clutch. 1982 Yamaha Xj550 MAXIM, float is sticking..needs key, battery, fuel cap, and 1 lens cover for turn signal. bike is in really good condition as are both the tires, and the seat is a king and queen seat no rips or tares. the guy i bought it from put another tank on it and the tank needs sanded and painted i will take offers but i have just under 400 into it so please don't low ball. i know someone that has a few parts bikes for this and can give you his info if wanted this would be a great starter bike or everyday rider with a little carb work. get a hold of me for more pictures or to come look at it i don't wan't to leave it sitting all winter under a tarp outside need to sell soon $450.00 5178126276

1983 Yamaha Xj550 MAXIM, 1983 Yamaha XJ550J condition: fair fuel: gas paint color: black transmission: automatic I am selling my boyfriends motorcycle because he's in jail. It needs to move from where it's currently parked ASAP or it will be towed. I don't know anything about motorcycles but I think it's a 1983 Yamaha XJ550J maxim. 1982 Yamaha Xj550 MAXIM, Awesome, well kept classic bike. Its got new tires, a brand new clutch and cable and a brand new battery. Ive done a partial tune up but the only thing it needs is new plugs. Its daily driver, easy, but also sporty. Its the four cylinder so its a fun, fast bike but gets 55mpg. It needs a new paintjob, because of the previous owner using a rattlecan, but thats easy. I was gonna do it but I figured I would let the new owner pick the color. $1,300.00
