Flush with new brake fluid. - Starter motor has Yamaha bulletin shim fix but uses installed setscrews to lock planetary gear from slipping. This is to increase starter motor torque. - New starter idle gear installed, to help properly engage flywheel.

This is a 2004 Yamaha XV 250 Virago. The bike has 4,568 original miles and is extremely clean and well taken care of. I took it in on trade for my pottery equipment. The owner is a friend of mine and purchased the motorcycle in 2008. She rode very little but kept the bike in running condition. After she had a child, she no longer wanted to ride. The bike has a new battery and everything works. The motor and all chrome is very nice and the paint is very nice with a small blemish on the front fender. Tires, cables, seat, and everything else is in great condition with the exception of the right side cover, which is held in place with tape. The top tabs are broken but I didn't remove the tape to see if they are still there and could be glued. I have owned my own motorcycle business in the past and this bike would be an 8/9 out of 10 , in my opinion. It's a v-twin motorcycle and is a nice starter bike or a vacation bike to ride around the campgrounds or lake. This bike needs nothing and has a new battery in the last two months. I never cleaned it so the pictures are right out of the garage. The owner always put gas stabilizer in the tank each winter. I can help prepare the bike to be shipped and it can be stored up to 60 days but it must be paid in full within 3 days of the purchase. I will not be responsible for the bike after payment is received, but will store it in a locked building that is water tight. Please call 740-804-7043 if you have any further questions. This is a great bike! Starts right up, runs great and very fun to ride. Very smooth, well balanced and fun to ride on long rides in the country with plenty of power on the highway. This bike will cruise comfortably all day at expressway speeds. Power to weight ratio is excellent. Only 15,888 actual miles. For sale is my 1996 Yamaha Virago XV750. Excellent condition. Everything mechanically is in perfect running order. Has been running all summer no problems. Clean title, ready to hit the road.Has a few nice upgraded parts; Vance & Hines exhaust, Mustang seat, saddlebags, LED headlight, fairing, highway foot rests, Biltwell bars and grips, frosted signals, new battery. I have bought, refurbished and sold 1st Gen (81-83) Viragos for the last 8 years. I bought this motorcycle for parts a year ago but other priorities have come up and it has been in my storage locker, untouched since then. It has plenty of good parts on it. The starter assembly and flywheel alone are worth my asking price. Everything looks straight and accident-free. It was on a porch for years, but it's a California bike so most parts should clean up nicely. If you can't find $400 worth of parts on this bike, you aren't trying. I included a Best Offer option but don't hurt me too bad. I have to pay $60 to EBay. The bike comes with a bill of sale. It does not come with a title. The back fee to register it in CA is around $600. If you're taking it out of state you may be able to register it, but you need to do your own research. Bike is in good condition. Runs and rides great. Just shows some normal wear and tear from being a 1982 model. Just needs new fork seals. This bike has a windshield, saddle bags, trunk, cycle alarm. I have owned and rode this bike since 1993 when I purchased it. Deposit required through PayPal. Remainder of payment by cashiers check only. 1992 YAMAHA VIRAGO 750 This Virago is in excellent overall condition. The color is maroon and the paint and chrome have no major blemishes. It shines and has no dents or rust. It comes with a windscreen and highway pegs. The bike has been safety inspected and detailed. I installed a new battery. All the lights, horn and gauges work 100%. The tires have about 75% tread left and the brakes are about 60% pad life. This bike will make for a great commuter or first bike. 1988 Yamaha Virago 1100 I was left this bike when my grandfather died. Here are the facts: - One owner bike, transferred to me before he passed away.- Bike is 100% original, no aftermarket pipes or carb work. - Bike sat for the last year and a half. It started on the first hit of the starter with full choke, warmed up and idled fine when I went to start it a few days ago.- Rode it around for 15 or so miles and it was a bit sluggish at first but ran fine when it warmed up. Could probably use a carb clean- Shifts through all gears like it should and neutral is easy to find- Original documentation and purchase order with the bike. Have a receipt for new tires (2004), carb cleaning and sync (2006), and an oil change (although i know he did more). This bike has been babied- All lights work like they should. high beam, turn signals, brake lights, neutral light.- Bike is very very clean. No dents or major scratches on tank or side covers. - Brakes are firm and responsive- Absolutely no leaks- As i have been told, this bike was extremely reliable and my grandfather had absolutely no issues with it. This XV535 virago is in very good shape for its age. It has a custom burgundy paint job with a few minor scratches. It starts right up and rides great with plenty of power. Exhaust baffles are removed and the carb has been tuned accordingly. It comes with crash bars. Due to its low seat height, agility and medium size it makes a great first bike.
