1988 Yamaha Virago 1100 I was left this bike when my grandfather died. Here are the facts: - One owner bike, transferred to me before he passed away.- Bike is 100% original, no aftermarket pipes or carb work. - Bike sat for the last year and a half. It started on the first hit of the starter with full choke, warmed up and idled fine when I went to start it a few days ago.- Rode it around for 15 or so miles and it was a bit sluggish at first but ran fine when it warmed up. Could probably use a carb clean- Shifts through all gears like it should and neutral is easy to find- Original documentation and purchase order with the bike. Have a receipt for new tires (2004), carb cleaning and sync (2006), and an oil change (although i know he did more). This bike has been babied- All lights work like they should. high beam, turn signals, brake lights, neutral light.- Bike is very very clean. No dents or major scratches on tank or side covers. - Brakes are firm and responsive- Absolutely no leaks- As i have been told, this bike was extremely reliable and my grandfather had absolutely no issues with it. Wouldnt hesitate to ride this bike pretty far as its never had any issues and has been maintained regularly. Would consider trades (+ or - $) for harley or chopper stuff
