Has been stored since 2002, includes a spare motor (engine) for parts. Starts easily, very strong engine and transmition. New oil and oil filter, fuel hoses. Since it has not been used since 2002 it should be throughly checked before operating on highway. May need some work.

I am sad to have to sell this lovely lady but unfortunately I just do not have the room to keep her. I have a second bike and this girl does not get the attention and the use that she needs! This bike is so solid! There are no running issues what-so-ever! The carbs have been rebuilt, the front and rear brake calipers have been rebuilt, valve adjustment and new valve cover gasket, new chain, tires still have lots of life, new battery purchased in May 2016 and a new petcock(fuel valve.) She has 13,600 original miles! All lights are working, fuel gauge works, gear position indicator(4th gear does not light up on the indicator, needs new bulb.) This girl is all original! 2002 Suzuki GS500. Perfect starter bike. Just put $1000 into rebuilding both carburetors, new front forks, new front and rear tires, and a 2 inch lowering kit. Currently has clip-on handlebars and bar-end mirrors, but I do have the original handlebars as well. Includes a service manual. Does have some scrapes and dents from a drop by the previous owner. Approximately 17,000 miles on it. Registration is current and good until June 2017. $1000 OBO
